I wish I never went here. This is where my problems began. I went for my blood pressure. They gave me antidepressants and I swear my memory and life changed. I went to another Dr. they gave me blood pressure meds and I was actually helped. I slowly got off the anti depressants that I did not need and gained 20 pounds from. I saw Dr. Li twice. The first time he seemed like someone that cared about his patients and ordered an X-ray for persistent pain I have been having in my neck which found disc damage. On the second visit he told me that the damage isn't enough to cause the amount of pain I'm in and that it is in my head, refused me further diagnostic tests even after I pointed out that you cannot see soft tissue damage on an X-ray, grabbed and manipulated my shoulder very roughly without consent after having already done a manual assessment of my pain levels with consent, and flippantly told me to lose 100 pounds even though that was not my complaint. But, I do believe that being fat affected the care I received. I don't think he would have been so dismissive of my pain if I weren't. Fat people are just as worthy of medical care as non fat people, Dr. Li. The experience so far was degrading enough, but then he gave me a diagnosis of fibromyalgia without a differential diagnosis. I self advocated to the best of my ability, but by this point I was in even more pain than when I'd come in and beginning to cry after being given no hope and no options. I still insisted on some sort of referral which was denied, likely because he told them I have fibromyalgia. He also gave me information on where I could get trigger point therapy if I could pay out of pocket. He then told me to gather my things and walked me out, seemingly indifferent to the gravity of diagnosis he just gave. This experience was dehumanizing and damaging. I had waited three months for that first appointment with hope that he would help me, but was met with shocking indifference akin to malice from a person who's job it is to care. I have begun the process with a new doctor who, after reviewing my symptoms, was shocked when I told them Dr. Li's diagnosis. They are taking me seriously and have rushed to get me in to see a specialist. In the meantime, I am in searing pain by the end of the day, everyday. I do not want a reply from the clinic. I want Dr. Li to read this and understand that how he treated me, and has likely treated others, is inhumane and degrading. I sincerely hope that my experience with you was not the norm. If it is, you need to seriously reconsider how you practice medicine at the very least. But, hey, the phlebotomist was great. read more

I have gone to PMG for many many years. I had the absolute worst experience there today. There is a new nurse practitioner there whose name I shall not mention except for the fact that it starts with an F.......She is the rudest, most unprofessional NP that I have ever met. I have seen Deb Todd for years there but it is difficult to get into see her and she is retiring soon. I made an appointment with this NP and I am still in shock as to how she treated me. Stating to me that Maybe I should learn to read my prescription bottles better! Because I was due for a full physical?? WHAT? Hopefully people read this and do not go to see her. She needs to not practice medicine. Period! She left me sitting in the room waiting to be seen for 45 minutes. While she rushed around to other rooms like a crazy woman. Please avoid her!! read more

What happened to treating people with dignity and respect? I have been to the Oregon City and Canby clinics and both were terrible experiences for me. The Oregon City office has a nurse practitioner that i have heard speaking to and about patients horribly. Her nurse is the same way. The walls are paper thin lending no privacy to patients. They run extremely late and then rush through appointments without listening to their patients. Someone needs to take a look at this company's leadership and make some changes. They suck after 10 yrs there and they up and told me my insurance didn't cover one of my visits and I needed to find a new place to go.

I have been here several times and am never going back. The front staff is never very helpful or friendly. Dr. Li is quite possibly the worst doctor I've ever had an appointment with. He came in after I had been waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time and literally helped me for about 5 minutes before quickly diagnosing me and giving me a prescription. He didn't ask me any questions about anything. Turns out, he didn't diagnose me correctly and made my symptoms 10 times worse because of the medication I didn't need to be on in the first place. So when I called again to make another appointment, I told them I refused to see him again and they basically told me I didn't have a choice in that matter. I haven't been back since and will not go there again. read more

Never again! My first visit here for a cough, I was told by the Dr., "I'm just doing this for the retirement now. I've already had my own practice." Taken back, I just moved on and brushed it off. Today, my husband received a message for me at working stating I needed to come in next month for labs. I never gave my husbands work number to contact me on my new patient intake form and I certainly never said that a message could be left for me there. I am healthy with no medical conditions and take accountability for my own health. It feels to me like them trying to get me in is nothing more than an attempt to bill me and my insurance company. When I tried to talk to the representative "Beth", I was met with one of the most demeaning and condescending attitude and tone that I have ever heard. I have better experiences with my cable company! When I had enough, I escalated the call to Maryanna the clinic manager. This experience was even worse! She was accusatory and stated that I must be having a bad day. I hadn't been until they breached my confidentiality and then insulted me. Maryanna never attempted to resolve any problem. She was more interested in breaking every possible customer service rule and called me rude and said I had no de-escalation skills. Excuse me? I pay your wages lady. Not to mention, I have been managing call center and customer service organizations with Microsoft, University of Utah Hospital, and Netflix to name a few. I also am a Six Sigma Black Belt so I know a thing or two about quality and superior customer service. Maybe I should send Maryanna an invoice for my $130 per hour consulting fees. I fully intend to escalate this further and share on social media and when I shared this with Maryanna, she said!"Go ahead. Please do". The Managing Director of this clinic needs to know that the lack of professionalism that I received today in addition to my prior experiences has left a lasting bad taste in my mouth. They may get away with this with their other geriatric clientele, but not me. I will never be back and I will not let this die. read more

I just went to see Dr. Li today, he is great! The staff was nice enough, but the Dr was fabulous. He really listened and came up with a plan to help me get better. He understood the financial issues and did what he could to help keep within my financial means, plus actually help. read more

I wish I had looked up these reviews before going on my first appointment. Yikes! The office smells OLD and moldy. Place empty. Yet, the 2 admin ladies didn't make any effort to walk to the front desk to acknowledge me. I was on time for my appointment. They should have known that a new patient was coming in. The call I got the day prior to the appointment, gave me pause. The woman's tone was disrespectful and condescending. How many times do I need to tell them that I'll be paying the darn deductible? Rude!! Waited 30 minutes inside Exam room # 1 which was STUFFY. Luckily, there was a small fan which I took the liberty to plug in and turn on. The NP walked in looking rushed. Quite unprofessional in her demeanor. Not a single apology for the 30-minute delay. The write up/summary is inaccurate. She spent most of the time, looking at the computer, asking disjointed questions. The only comfort I get now is knowing that they are HORRIBLE, unprofessional, condescending, with almost everyone (based on reviews here and on Google). On this my fourth appointment here, I'm done. I've given you more than enough try's and you've failed me for the last time. The desk people are unapproachable, and can't make eye contact. I am usually extra patient and courteous to receptionists because they deal with the public which can be awful at times I'm sure. When all I get is a hand waving at me for my ID with no greeting or even a reason of why she's waving at me, I'm done. When I make an appointment more than 2 weeks out to see a doctor for two specific ongoing reasons I expect to be seen for both items. Not to be told when I arrive that I need to choose which one to be seen for today. I'm done. For being in an industry that is supposed to help people, you've failed me for the last time. Horrible first experience and I will never go back. I'm looking for a new PCP so I called to see if they were accepting new patients. Front desk says they don't do 'get to know you type of appointments". So I suggest a physical and we can establish a care plan. The front desk says I need to fast for 10 hours prior to the appoint. Fast forward to the day before the appointment, I was left a reminder message & nothing was said about fasting so I call to ask. She goes straight into her spiel about what fasting is. So I asked specifically if I had that type of appointment. She got my name and checked and said yes. Guess what happens next.... Yep the PA tells me that she doesn't do physicals for a 1st time in patient. It's 330PM and I haven't eaten. I asked her why the desk told me that & she says " I don't know " That answer was not good enough. So we talked for a bit but I had to know, so I asked "what type of labs would you have done that would require me to fast?" Again she doesn't know. My opinions of this clinic are now filtered through the hunger I was feeling that afternoon but, she was running 45mins late to my appointment leaving me in the room to hear everything happening in the exam room around me due to paper thin walls. Once the PA did show up I felt rushed. I'm sure they were busy and I prefer a clinic that keeps a slower pace and a front staff that knows how to schedule. read more

Horrible office and horrible doctors. I have been going there for 10 years and absolutely can't stand it anymore. None of the good doctors want to stay so every other I'm seeing a new doctor and the last one was the worst. He had horrible bedside manners and was down right rude. In addition the front desk staff is not friendly at all. They treat you like you're an inconvenience and their office looks like its from the 90's. I was told I had MS by one of the nurse practitioners at the oregon city clinic after one MRI that had one lesion. Freaking out....went to a neurologist and he asked who told me I had MS and that he was not convinced it was MS. Ran numerous other tests and guess what. I do not have MS. Months of anxiety due to her thoughtless diagnosis (over the phone no less) based on a radiologist report that saw one lesion on an MRI. If a DR. is competent at all, she should know that it takes many tests to make a diagnosis of MS. If I could give a no star rating I would. read more

My family has used Pacific Med. Group for many years and recently began using the Oregon City Office as it is hours closer to our home. Agree with prior review, Dr Li is great. He is very professional, good bed side manner and genuinely appears to enjoy his job. He is my doctor, I hope for many years to come. Recently, my husband, decided to change his primary doctor to Dr. Li and he could not get by the front desk. This is my third experience with the individual at the front desk. It appears her one and only concern (when she eventually decides to acknowledge you) is who is your insurance and what does it cover. No hello, welcome or any other greeting. And although she has indicated the office welcomes new patients, the opposite is what her lack of interpersonal skills exudes. So I would highly recommend Dr. Li, but is you have to work with that front desk, try another office, my husband did. read more
