I happened to walk by this place at their old location on Ventura and am happy that later on I walked in. They carry some great and really reasonably priced breastfeeding supplies. I got a fantastic basic nursing bra for under $15, various parts for my pump, and my favorite milk storage bags (which are biodegradable and the same cost of the ones at Target which aren't). The selection of baby things (especially if you're looking for a baby gift) isn't particularly robust, but they truly have what you need to nurse. The new location is in my opinion, leaps and bounds better than the old. The space for classes is bigger, and parking (which you can find in the back) is much easier. It's also close to the VNSO park and trader joes so it's easy to swing by. I also cannot recommend highly enough the mommy-and-me classes I took there with Danielle Brooks. As a second time mom in wasn't sure if I needed a mommy-and-me class, but someone mentioned her class to me and I took a chance to go to it. Danielle truly taught me how to be a better mom, from gently crib training the baby to soothing the toddlers tantrums. It was one of the best decisions I made! All in all, this place is a great resource for moms in the Valley!

She offers classes, boutique breastfeeding gear and baby and mom fashion. They've moved from their Ventura Blvd store to Hazletine street in Sherman Oaks, which is great for me because it closer than ever. If you need to rent a breast pump or othe breastfeeding gear go to the Pump Connection and see Rebecca for the best service.

Since I had to find a new clinician, I had nowhere else to go except for the ER when I started bleeding. I then found out I had a missed miscarriage and am still paying for the ER bill to this day. I wanted a holistic pregnancy and that is what I got, I loved that it was non-intrusive throughout my whole pregnancy. All my questions/concerns were answered, Erin has great referrals for any type of specialist you want to see who will take you through the holistic route. She was very thorough with my check-ins and never pressured me into anything I didn't want to do. When it was time to give birth she held my hand through the whole process, I water birthed at her birth center with my husband by my side and 2 of her student midwives and it was the most intense, surreal, beautiful experience of my life, there were moments I didn't think I could do it but Erin really supported me and provided great birthing tools, words of encouragement and affirmations as I went through the motions and dilation progressed. She was very patient and caring through the process, I felt very loved, the environment is so calm and peaceful, loving. The moment my baby girl came out she was instantly on me and dad for skin to skin, she wasn't taken away from us at all and it was such an intimate beautiful moment and time. She also answered any questions I had post partum and cared for me and gave her expertise advice on any concerns I had. I couldn't recommend her enough, she is absolutely incredible! I will definitely be going back to her when I expect again. She was and is a God send without a doubt, an absolute angel. Thank you Erin, and thank you to your awesome team!

Highly, highly (!) recommend Kari. Her years of experience and warmth are what initially sold us…read more We also appreciated her certification as a Spinning Babies educator. But I am recommending her because I cannot imagine our birth without her. We planned on an unmedicated, hospital birth but ended up in an emergency cesarean. Many decisions had to be made quickly - baby was not doing well - but Kari's presence relieved so much stress. She knew what we wanted, she understood the medical situation better than we did, and she had already developed relationships with many of the hospital staff and was skillful in communicating with them in a respectful manner while advocating for our needs & preferences (I have heard stories of other doulas in town being unable to collaborate effectively with their hospital team). Both my husband and I felt deeply supported throughout the experience. Despite not having the birth story we had hoped for, we both feel confident that we got the best outcome possible in the situation - with Kari being a central part of that. Thank you Kari!

I was so excited I got to experience that when I had my baby! My son was wedged into my hip and I was dilating unevenly! Kari spent all day with me moving me into different positions and doing new techniques to help get him unwedged! I truly believe without her I might have ended up in a c section! She made me feel so comfortable and helped explain everything that was going on the whole time! We also took our birthing class with her, and I highly recommend you do that. All in all, was by far the best decision we made it! I will be using her for every child in the future.
