Guy rushed it, repeatedly scratched me with the buffer, and pinched my skin multiple times when trimming and when I mentioned it he acted like he didn't do anything wrong and claimed he was trying to even out my nails. Lady became rude when I decided not to get a manicure anymore and kept trying to convince me. It looked like my little sister did my nails so not professional and they charged me $55 i will never go there again. i also asked for a pedicure and they didn't do any of that they just painted my toes i didn't even get to put them in water and they charged me for a pedicure. read more

I went b/c I didn't have a chance to go to my normal salon back home and there were not a lot of places around here reviewed on Yelp. This one seemed alright. The salon on base charges a whopping $36 for just a pedicure. This place charged $30 for mani + pedi and $5 for nail art (which is "normal", even in LA). Another place in Santa Maria said they didn't do nail art...or they didn't know what I was talking about. They charge 50 cents for credit card use, if that matters to you. Lots of parking in the little shopping center. The staff was nice. They do wash down the foot basins. They were quiet; didn't try to chat up a storm with me. The hand/foot massage was fair. I have only been to Pacific Nails Spa once. I went on a weekday around lunch time. They were very busy but still willing to do a manicure and pedicure simultaneously due to my own time constraints. While the manager (or owner) was happy to offer the speedy service, the manicurist made it known that he was displeased about needing to do the manicure while I was in the pedicure chair. I recognize that finishing touches are only a very small part of ones experience when visiting a nail spa; however, touches are important when creating a first impression. Certain aspects of the spa could use more attention, including keeping the magazines clean and current and the sample nail designs from chipping (or missing nails altogether). Overall, the most important feature of visiting a nail salon is the way that the manicure/pedicure looks. I am pleased with the results of the pedicure. It looked great and even still looks decent after nearly four weeks. I may visit Pacific Nails Spa again. read more

This place was horrible. I had never been here before, but I was hoping for it to be a great place. I came here with my friend and both of our nails ended up pretty bad. I have 2 nails that you can partially see my actual nail through. The woman doing my nails notices it, tried to paint over it and couldn't fix it so then she just pretended not to notice it. She didn't clean off my cuticle when the gel polish was put on and it dried in the if light. I've had my nails for 3 days now, and they're already peeling off because of that! Also, when she massaged my arms she kept accidemtally scratching me. I had red marks on my arms, looked like I had been abused or something. Not happy at all with this place. They don't know how to do gel manicures. Don't waste your money here. read more

They weren't very friendly when I walked in but they were busy which led me to believe they do a decent job. There weren't a lot of nail polish colors to chose from. I waited about 5 minutes before it was my turn which was excellent cause I hate waiting. They do not have massage chairs but they give a long foot massage. The place was clean but could use some updating. It's blah not relaxing like a nail spa should be. My pedi cost me $20 which was an excellent price compared to what I'm use to paying. No complaints about the actual pedicure. While I was getting my pedi a lady walked in and was never greeted or asked what service she wanted. She stood at the counter for a good 10 minutes before she was acknowledged. If I was her I would've walked out. Like I said mixed feelings about this place. read more

Even this last time, my sister and I cut it a little too close to closing (my fault, I got the times mixed up in our search of where to go that day), but luckily it wasn't very busy and the ladies were very courteous! Today was disappointing. I used to be a regular here, but haven't been able to get my nails done in about 6 months. My nails look like I did them (shouldn't have wasted the money :( ) I watched a sales guy talk in a different language to an employee while he was working on someone.... I can't imagine her expirence was very relaxing either. I also watched 3 women sit in the back and gossip while a woman waited 20 min and eventually left. We all know Tina runs the show here, she's the BEST! I usually get Amy and I actually really do like her as well! They clean your nails SO GOOD. They soak your feet, rub warm lotion and put hot towels on your legs it's amazing. My French pedicures will last up to three weeks which is good for the 25$ price per French pedicure. I always get the dark pink polish for my pedi, for some reason my mom never does, so make sure if you want the dark pink (IMO it looks way better) be sure to ask! Tried this place based on the reviews on yelp because I had a party to go to and the nail spa I usually go was closed. The tech that did my pedicure didn't seem to know what they were doing because they made me bleed. I was nervous that I might get a fungus infection because I saw they only sprayed the pedicure tub with water after each use. I prefer having Tina or Amy work on my nails....they do an excellent job! The manager there is very kind to me and does waxing if you so desire, she always does a great job! I was dissapointed that I was charged $5.00 to remove the gel from my nails that they had put on...still need to talk to manager about that one! I just went to get a gel pedicure today and when he started taking my past gel polish off he was literally ripping it off and ended ripping off two of my toe nails! He was trying to blame my toes but I've been getting my nails done for a while whenever I can and I've never had anyone just rip gel polish off. I asked him to grind it down after I only had two nails left. I'm still mad I couldn't even get my nails painted cause I'm missing two nails.
