I am located in Washington state and had been calling Epson service centers to find someone to ship my malfunctioning scanner to and Pacific Office Equipment was the closest one to actually pick up the phone! I didn't get the technician's name, unfortunately, but he kindly and generously walked me through the steps to diagnose and fix the problem over the phone. Given the obstacles that Epson seems to place in the way of addressing product malfunctions, I was SO HAPPY to connect with a compassionate human being who was also knowledgeable and patient enough to help me fix my stuck scanner. My only regret is that I live almost 800 miles away but if you live in Sacramento and need help with an Epson product, I could not recommend Pacific Office Equipment more highly! read more

Great place for dysfunctional printers! I found POE on the Epson website. For some reason, my google search did not show this shop in my results. The area may not look very nice, but the service and customer service are excellent. Make sure you contact Fadi, the owner, before you go in because he does offsite repairs also and is not always at his own location. read more

In our throw away society not many people seem to bother for repair if their printer breaks down. This becomes especially true since manufacturers sell relatively cheap hardware to make their actual profit on the ink later on. In many cases, and also with the intentionally built in "end of life" counters, a professional service might be more expensive than just buying a new printer, even though the actual problem is very minimal, and the machine is perfectly working otherwise. I ran into exactly this problem with my Epson printer. All of the sudden it stopped working and displayed the end of life of my ink pads, some three dollar felt pieces to collect waste ink. He went into helpful detail how to better care for it, and pointed out only certain photo papers work on different branded printers- one must use Epson or Canon photo papers on mine (I had HP papers, and couldn't understand why inks did not adhere). When I called about repairing my wide format printer Fadi took the time ask me questions about my issue over the phone. Then rather than charging me for a service call, he told me to save my money and just buy a new printer, giving me a 90-95% chance that the repair would cost as much as a new printer. He could have easily came to my shop and collected a couple hundred dollars to tell me the same thing, but he didn't and that's real HONESTY. He also took several minutes of his time to assist me with some basic advice on which printer to buy, as well as extended warranties. All without the prospect of getting any money from me. This place could be overlooked for it's size but their knowledge of Canon products is superb. They are the only official Canon dealers in the area. I had an issue with my large format printer and when I took it in, they were nothing but welcoming. He didn't find anything wrong with it and even told me that in the event I had to comeback, it would be free. Now that's customer service. read more

I did not even know this place existed until my printer decided to go haywire, but my experience with Pacific Office Equipment was great. I had an issue with my Canon printer and after dealing with their customer service department, I was referred to a local service center, this place. So I plugged in the address and navigated over to this area. I walked in to the small store around 11 a.m. with my printer in hand and was greeted by an older woman. She was nice and asked me what my issue was with the printer. I told her my issue with it being really weird and making weird noises. She assured me that they could fix it, wrote me a receipt and collected a $25 service fee that goes towards the cost of fixing the printer (kind of like a down payment I guess). She told me it would take a day or two to fix it, depending on when the lead technician would diagnose the problem. So I left and later on that day I got a call from the lead technician and owner, named Fadi. He told me the issues with it, and said it was an easy fix that wouldn't cost much at all and said I could pick it up tomorrow. I was surprised that he even took the time to call me, great customer service! I picked it up the next day during my lunch break and Fadi explained what had happen (even though I had no idea what all the technical stuff he was talking about). It worked perfect when I plugged it back in at home! I had a report due for my English class a few days later and didn't have to deal with the long lines for getting a computer in the library to print out this huge paper. I'm a happy girl! I'll be back next time my printer decides to get crazy. read more

My Office Epson Printer was needing servicing and it is really big and heavy. Fadi came by and picked it up, took it back to his shop, completely cleaned out all the ink wells that were overflowing. pick up and delivery was $130.00 which I thought was very reasonable and now the printer is in tip top condition. read more

I feel extremely lucky to have this certified Canon repair facility so close to home. However, as wonderful as that is, I'm even LUCKIER to have a technician of Fadi's caliber there to provide knowledgeable support. Not only is he technically adept, his "bedside manner" is absolutely charming. I recently had the unfortunate experience of SIMULTANEOUSLY losing two (2) Canon MX922's to printhead/logic board failures. While they weren't expensive printers to begin with, I still hoped they might be affordable to repair somehow. Fadi had to give me the bad news -- but he did it in such an endearing way I just had to laugh in accepting his expert diagnosis. It's too bad more business people don't have the charm and people skills Fadi has, it would be a better world. If you're looking for an OEM-qualified repair station for your printing equipment, you can't do much better than Pacific Office Equipment. WOW what an amazing customer service experience, Epson POS printer broke down, for our small business in Roseville, paid $25 for Fadi to check it out and tell us what the problem is he finds out there is a recall on the board for this printer and ordered the part from Epson and here's the best part he did not charge me anything extra to get it installed and running just the initial amount. To me he went above and beyond to help me save money, he could have easily charged me more to install the part etc etc, but he dint.
