They showed the kids how the life jackets fit and then got 'em in the water to confirm to the kids that they were safe and comfortable. Then they let them loose on the boats. They had canoes and kayaks and stand up paddle boards and even has a dragon boat. They have a have a specific section of the lake designated for paddling but on the day we were there the guides let the kids loose on the entire lower lake. They loved it. The kids got some exercise and had a ton of fun and walked away happy and sore and a bit more confident in their watercraft skills. I've heard that the same options are available for adults but we had the misfortune of catching their very last session of the 2017 season so it looks like I'll have to sit on my hands and wait another 9 months to take a spin on that dragon boat. Too bad.

A highlight is the option for nutritious hot food made in-house, which makes life so much easier not having to pack food every day and still knowing your child is eating a variety of healthy foods. My kid comes home wanting to replicate the parfaits they learned to make and eat, and refers to colors and sings songs in all the different languages. We booked a weekend morning tour, and it ended up being one of the most unexpectedly fun things I've done in the city. I was a little nervous at first since I'm not super experienced with kayaking, but the guides were patient and gave clear instructions before we got on the water. Once we started, it felt calm and surprisingly peaceful. We even spotted birds and fish along the way, which I definitely didn't expect in Los Angeles. The whole experience felt safe, well-organized, and relaxed. It's such a cool way to see a different side of the city. I'd absolutely do it again.

If you look that up or really want to raft, take a drive up to Northern California for some excitement- you are able to do Class III, Class IV, or Class V, including an overnight rafting trip. It's not exactly like "A River Wild," but it can be if you're not experienced. I grew up river rafting with my Daddy all the time and have been on more than 300 trips in my lifetime. It's one of my favorite activities, but it's boring and lame in SoCal.

The park offers a play structure for kids to climb and play, a grassy area for people to picnic and throw a ball around, and walk paths to meander. The facilities are clean, and the park is well maintained. There is also a basketball court and a softball field. It was nice to see children off screens, playing and happy, and families barbequing and picnicking. There are some large trees that offer shade, and a couple picnic benches. People should take more time to go to parks, relax in nature, and enjoy the peace and serenity of being outdoors. Spend some time at Two Strike Park.

Then the brush fire happened and got relocated to Hungry Valley. Understandable . Both times that they relocated us , Kelly was very accommodating and communicative through text. She made sure that we keep the same day , same time slot no matter what or offer a full refund. When we got to the location in the day of , Silvia and girl (I forgot her name ) who checked us in were very helpful and nice and wanted to make sure we were prepared . During these COVID times , they took our temperature , made sure we sanitized our hands , and put a sanitary head and mouth covering on before putting the sanitized helmet on . We got there an hour early because we had to commute from an hour away and wanted to be on time . They let us ride early as soon as we got there and Sylvia was a fantastic guide . She took amazing pictures of us and made sure we were okay throughout the ride The trail was beautiful and the scenery was captivating . My boyfriend and I are already looking to book the lake arrowhead location next month . 10/10 would recommend We also received our pics the same day
