I came in to cash a check that I received from my credit union. The issuing bank was Wells Fargo. Not only did I wait 30 minutes in line, the lady said I could not cash the check and it was considered "deposit," only. And so I asked if I could open an account to deposit the check and she stated it would take over an hour to open an account. I was able to open an account on the website in less than 3 minutes, deposit the check right away. This level of poor integrity is unacceptable. Before I came, I did look at the review because you know yelpers... you. are. always. right. Pros: The bank has been reading the reviews and has changed staff and now they have a parking attendant out there to keep the parking spots secured. I usually go between 11 AM- 1PM. It's rare that I'm in the bank for more than 15 minutes. The line is never long and there are usually two tellers there. I know I read a review regarding "small talk" (which I also hate) and guess what...none of that. Professional, direct and straight to the point. I'm here to either deposit money or take it out, nothing more nothing less. Con: Why do they have 6 teller windows and only 2 tellers at all time? I don't know either. The parking attendant is giving "creepy vibes" like why you are staring at me when I'm trying to park in front of Wells Fargo. I never get to park in front of Wells Fargo because they have placed cones there that state: "Parking for Wells Fargo customers." How am I suppose to park in the parking spot, if you have a cone in the middle of it and a creepy man standing there staring me down. Can you say awkward. Because of this, I give 3 stars. Bad branch manager. They couldn't open an account for me even though there was 5 employees. So I opened it on my phone in the lobby. Went back up and then they won't let me deposit a bond for 6 months. Literally no help and I would avoid at all costs. Leadership here needs a change. Went to another Wells Fargo in Inglewood and the manager there was a treat. She helped me with the deposit and was so kind. Helped setup my account and explained my minimum balance needs and all questions answered. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017: 90/100 Walked in and needed a couple of cashier's checks. No one ahead of me so I anticipated a quick service. Quick is an understatement - Shelby, the teller, was lightning fast! She got all my transactions done quickly + service with a smile. I was pretty much outta there in about 5 minutes. I do wonder, though: this Wells Fargo has monopolized pretty much half (if not more) of the parking spaces in this lot shared with many other business, and for whatever reason, most (if not all those spots) are taken every time I come through. So, really... who are these people parking on their spaces? It's not like there's a line at the ATM's, and there's only one or two customers in the bank sometimes...? Just curious. I have been to dozens of Wells Fargo branches in my life, but by far hands down this is literally the best one I have ever been to. Not all Wells branches are created equally. Maybe I'm just lucky, but the customer service for me has been above and beyond. I've been coming to this branch now for over three years. I never have more than a five minute wait to see a teller, I've never had to wait to see a personal banker and anytime there is a problem they resolve it on the spot. I live part time in Torrance and part time in Santa Monica. I have literally driven from both places specifically to come to this branch. The level of personal care at this branch is literally better than the branches in more affluent areas! read more

My wife and I were in a tight deadline to get an auto loan approved and while the corporate office mailed a check, I needed a paper check that day. To be clear: this review is NOT for the individual employees who work at the El Segundo branch of Wells Fargo. In fact, it is not even targeted at this branch alone. Instead, I give Wells Fargo a one-star rating solely on what appears to be a heavily enforced corporate policy of making their employees try to be super friendly and very aggressively engage all of the customers who come into the bank in banal conversation and faux pleasantries. People, look. I am here to conduct some BANKING. Ok? I am not interested in engaging in inane conversation with the employees about "how my day is going" or why I need $40 in quarters or "are you taking the day off?" etc etc blah blah blah. JUST SHUT UP AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!! And do I want some bottled water? NO! I am in line to make a simple withdrawal and then get on with my day. So just leave me alone. Stop trying to have these idiotic conversations with me. You want to say "hello" as I walk in the branch? That's fine, that is normal behavior. But then leave me alone. What is not to dig about a Wells Fargo bank / ATM that is located in the same parking lot at The Habit? I come to use this ATM when I am about to get my grub on at The Habit. I find this ATM easy to use, parking spaces for Wells Fargo are clearly marked and a Security Guard is on duty to ensure that people parking in Wells Fargo spots are either using the ATM or going inside the Bank which is extremely helpful when this parking lot is constantly packed with people and cars. I have never been inside this location but just based on the location within the confines of the Aerospace community I would say this is a place that you would want to avoid at all cost during the lunch hours. If & when I want to get my Habit on I will hit up this spot otherwise I will not stop here. read more

I used to visit this branch for over two and a half years, but now I don't bank at this particular branch anymore. The main reason is parking, there isn't any. They've recently added a parking guard to secure parking for Bank customers but getting into the lot is ridiculous with the other customers for other businesses flooding it. I also do not like their service, I came in here many times and I feel they just want me to open a savings account, and GTFO. I came in for some assistance about my accounts once, the banker gave me comments on my recent expenditures, how professional. Specially when he ASSUMED that I'll spend my money on shopping etc, so I should get a savings account. I understand that you get some sort of commission for opening a savings account but jeez, insulting your customer? No thank you. I've also called the branch regarding my account once (Deposit fail) and the banker I got was very unhelpful, and finicky. He told me he'll "call me back in a bit" and never did. I called after an hour, same treatment. After the third try he forwarded my call to another banker. Which he seemed un-interested about my problem. I had to contact other branches and contacts on my end to have my deposit fixed. I made an appointment with another banker after my previous encounter. He seemed nice and understanding and we agreed on a time and date. Few days later I arrive to my appointment on the dot and the ONLY banker that was in the branch tells me he just left so I should wait for an hour. No follow-up or nothing. I didn't even bother calling to reschedule. This branch just sucks. read more

I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this fuming. Yesterday my wallet was stolen out of my purse so the first thing I did today was come in to cancel my debit card. Bc I don't have my license they were unable to cancel my card. If my entire wallet was stolen why would I still have my license?! Now I did bring my expired old license, school id, social security card, and a paper ID from the DMV. They still would not close my stolen card. I'm about to call it in stolen, but now I won't be able to get a temporary card. As soon as I get my new license I'm coming in to close my account. I refuse to work with a bank that won't protect my assets. Utter incompetence here. read more

Normally I'm a big fan of this branch as it's local. On a Tuesday at 9:05 am we needed to do a wire transfer. Apparently out of everyone working there only one person could do the wire transfer. After sitting for 30 minutes we were told someone would be out shortly. 45 minutes. Still no one. I called the manhattan beach branch and they indicated they could accommodate us quickly. We got in our car and upon arriving were helped within seconds...literally five seconds. read more

Correct phone is 310 333 1360 The Bank is not all that bad, but the parking situation is a travesty. It takes me more time to find a spot that to do my bank transaction. And this is a SLOW bank. Perhaps if there were fewer customers waiting in line, there would be more parking spots available. Parking is impossible. And I don't mean close to the door, or even close to the bank. I mean the whole lot is full. Except for the many handicapped spaces, which are almost always full of black SUVs, as well. The building commission really dropped the ball on available parking when this strip mall was put in. The only way to go here is to walk, bicycle or have a handicap placard (which might not even help). I usually park in another business's lot on the other side of Sepulveda and walk across, rather than waste time in their joke of a lot. read more

A bank in a crowded mini shopping center that hogs twenty of the parking spots is a bit greedy. Especially if there's other establishments, which includes restaurants. Parked in a space near the handicap parking to get to the T-Mobile (which Wells Fargo graciously let have two parking spots that were full) and my brother stopped at the ATM to check his balance as it was where he usually banked at, before we were to head over to the T-Mobile, as we had seen a lady in a BMW do. Not more than one step away from the ATM, a security guard from Wells Fargo came running out screaming at us that we only had fifteen minutes at the ATM and because we only used the ATM, we had to move. Politely, we had informed him that we had seen a lady do the exact same thing that we did, but he continued to scream at us that we had to move...and that the lady was fine because she had gone into the bank before going to Chipotle. My brother and I witnessed her parking and not going into the bank, so the guard lied to us. We did move, as we were borrowing our grandfather's car and didn't want him to get a ticket, and as a miracle a spot in front of T-Mobile opened up. If I could give this location of Wells Fargo a 0 star, I would. That is no way to treat people who might have been going to the bank last as part of their errands. If I was in the market for a new bank, I would go elsewhere. read more

The good: The staff is friendly and generally helpful. They are also open on Saturdays. The bad: Parking SUCKS. It's just straight up bad. Also, they have a line for business owners, but it's a sham. This is the only Wells Fargo where the manager was actually helpful and cared about customer satisfaction. When one of the bankers I had previously spoken to did not do what he said he would, (I wish I recalled her name) the female manager came out to speak with me without me having to even ask for the manager when I was complaining to the teller about my account. She corrected my problem right away and gave me all the proof paper work. I really appreciate this from her as my experience with all other wells fargo managers have been extremely poor and non-responsive. read more
