Clean Out Pros LLC REFUSED to provide their license number…read more There is no record of the company in Contractors State License Board, https://cslb.ca.gov I made a mistake of hiring Clean Out Pros LLC for a roof repair after reading the positive Yelp reviews. Josh from Clean Out Pros LLC is unreachable, so, I can only leave a review here. SUMMARY The roof repair failed in the next rain following the repair, Clean Out Pros came out to inspect the leak (in the same area they repaired) and said a larger area of the roof would need to be re-roofed since the house "shifted". I hired a licensed contractor to repair the same roof area, only to discover the repair work was not done correctly, the new waterproofing paper was installed on top of the old waterproofing paper and the actual repair area is smaller than what was quoted, missing the actual water intrusion point. DETAILS Clean Out Pros LLC performed roof repair work, and the repair was provided with a written ten-year warranty as reflected on the invoice. I relied on Clean Out Pros LLC's representations regarding the quality of the repair and the warranty coverage when he retained your company. Unfortunately, the repair proved defective. Beginning on or about October 14, 2025, following rainfall, water intrusion and leaking occurred in the same area that had been repaired by Clean Out Pros LLC. The leak continued during subsequent rain events. I contacted Josh from Clean Out Pros LLC regarding the problem. On or about October 21, 2025, Clean Out Pros LLC inspected the area and advised that the prior repair was adequate and that a larger area of the roof would need to be re-roofed. Concerned by this explanation, I obtained independent inspections from several licensed contractors. The inspections revealed significant deficiencies in the work performed by Clean Out Pros LLC, including: 1. Waterproofing paper was improperly installed on top of existing paper rather than underneath it, contrary to applicable roofing standards and resulting in water being able to flow beneath the new material and enter the home; 2. Damaged plywood was only partially replaced, leaving portions of damaged material in place; 3. The repaired area was substantially smaller than the area represented and promised, comprising approximately seventy percent (70%) of the agreed repair scope. I retained a licensed contractor to correct the defective work in the same area, the licensed contractor actually charged $2300 LESS than Clean Out Pros LLC, and the leak stopped completely.
