A scam from the beginning cloaked in helpful employees and an enthusiasm to help me recover as much money as I could from the big insurance company. What began as a promising experience soon devolved into chaos: minimal communication, a conflagration of the contractual agreement, and a premeditated effort by PPA to fill their own pockets on the back of my misfortunate. I received my initial insurance payment as part of the settlement from the water damage to my house at the beginning of 2023. I did not even know about or engage PPA until the end of March 2023; I had no reason to believe as part of our agreement that PPA would be entitled to the money I collected on my own from the insurance company, three months prior to us agreeing to work with each other. Throughout the process, various employees of PPA attempted to explain to me a new pricing scheme where I could collect even more money from the insurance company for my claim, but that additional money came with a higher fee. The employees had trouble explaining the new fee structure to me clearly, and would always defer to the owner. This new option was not explained to me during the intake process of working with PPA, and things began to feel very slimy. I felt very uncomfortable speaking with PPA, the email communications became very unclear, and I got the uncomfortable impression that I had hooked up with professional scammers. My concerns became realized when PPA felt entitled to collect on the insurance money I had received three months before working with them, as well as increasing the fee they charged for the second insurance check. The idea that they would take money from me that they had nothing to do in collecting seems absolutely preposterous, and well beyond the scope of our agreement. I assure you that whatever response PPA gives to my review will be rife with lies, but seem totally plausible and civil. Be mindful before working with any public adjuster, I spoke with friends in other cities who experienced the same sort of bait and switch by a PA, it's just unfortunate for me that I didn't speak with my friends earlier to avoid this dishonest experience. read more

Where do I start on how great Taylor Babb and Pacific Public Adjusters are? We had a leak in our kitchen that our insurance company denied within 5 minutes of their inspection. They based the denial on an incorrect assumption that the leak was caused by "normal wear & tear" from our dishwasher line. It turned out to actually be from a broken pipe behind our kitchen sink. We immediately took care of the damage from the leak and called Pacific Public Adjusters to fight our improper denial. Our insurance company dragged our claim out 7 months. They were non-responsive, dismissive and at times downright incompetent. When they finally agreed to cover our claim, they hired unlicensed "experts" to review the clean-up, constantly low-ball us on how much they would cover to rebuild our kitchen, the list goes on. The numbers they were giving us were actually insulting. It was truly a nightmare. There is no way we could have dealt with this on our own. Without Taylor's expertise, perseverance and attention to detail we would probably still have a denied claim. Taylor's hard work and dedication to our claim and family got our claim denial reversed and he also got the insurance company to pay out not just what they wanted to pay, but what we deserved. Taylor at Pacific Public Adjustor is the one person on our side in an insurance claim. He has been very helpful to us as we work to return to pre-loss condition after a fire. We are not insurance experts so it is unlikely that we would be paid what we are due when the insurance company has many experts on their side. Insurance companies want to pay out as little as possible, but we want to get to pre-loss condition. Taylor is an insurance expert, and provides great council and support for us to receive all that is owed from the insurance company. We have had a lot of questions as well is complete ignorance of some aspects of insurance. We didn't even know what Public Adjusters was. Taylor Babb, Public Adjuster, is amazing at his job. He helped me work through a complicated claim with my insurance company concerning a roof leak that entered through the dining room light fixture and dripped onto the dining room table, damaging it. The insurance company's "independent" adjuster tried to tell me that the rainstorm that we had had blocked the roof gutter and caused the leak 4' higher in elevation above the gutter. I responded that that was not possible since rain does not drain upwards. There had been terrible winds during the storm that blew upward on the roof causing the leak. I had a few contractors tell me that the blocked gutter could not have caused the leak since it was 4' lower. The insurance company refused to fix the roof leak and was only going to patch the hole (cut by the remediation company that opened the ceiling to remove the wet insulation and dry out the attic) and cover damage to the table. After guidance from Taylor, a roof contractor met with the "independent" adjuster. Taylor was very attentive to detail including measuring the area and helped to develop a plan including removing and repairing the dining room ceiling and repainting the dining room ceiling and walls. Because the dining room ceiling is lower than the living room ceiling, repairing the ceiling drywall affected the living room wall. The living room walls then had to be painted along with the hallway and entry way because it was all continuous. Taylor was so helpful and informative, I could not have done it without him. Taylor is extremely knowledgeable, smart, ethical, kind, patient and compassionate. He cares about helping people and works very hard to do so. He goes the extra mile and spends a lot of time gathering information and explaining things without judgment. I highly recommend hiring Taylor and would use him again in a second if need be.
