Never happens. That kind of goes right in line with the coverups and hidden problems we have found throughout the house since purchase. He is a fraud and irresponsible. My husband and I recently purchased a home from Pacific Realty Group and, while we are quite happy with the final outcome, it was a roller coaster getting there. The two men who run this company are pretty sketchy. Sure, its "business", but they've changed their company name numerous times to get away from the issues that have befallen them. Anyway, let's start with the good. We bought a fully flipped house with amazing attention to detail and modern touches that feel right at home in a hip millennial atmosphere. They know who they're playing to and they have great taste. The bad; we put in an offer pre-market, no contingencies. They came back with a clause about suing (reading reviews now, I see why), we added contingencies, the original offer became convoluted. So, despite our offer being ratified and us being in escrow, they put the listing up on MLS and hosted open houses, not even bothering to mark the property as "pending" or being transparent to other agents that we were already ratified. They were still showing the house two weeks into escrow. Items they had already been marked as fixed were not, and did not get fixed prior to close of escrow. After learning of their prior forging of documents, we hired our own inspector to ensure everything was up to code; much was, some was not. They offered a credit to fix the items, but then also retracted that credit offer once they started seeing the other offers coming in from the visitors who viewed the house after we were in escrow. The sellers are the flippers and the agents. They run the show and when things aren't going their way they say "we'll have to get back to you after we talk to the seller"...after you... talk to yourself? And yes, while many of the upgrades to the home were wonderful, they did not use a licensed contractor and some items were not always level or even. Not horribly noticeably so, but not high-end professional as first look would suggest. All in all, I wish the house we fell in love with had come from a different seller/agent group but you can't choose that. If you're planning to sell your home to them or have them sell them for you, be wary of their tactics. read more

Paul Lejoy owns the property on 3226 Champion st Oakland Ca and has continuously rented this property out on Friday and Saturday nights. Tonight is yet another example of loud music, large gathering sometimes exceeding 40 people. After 5 months of continuous parties finally there was a shoot out with over 100 rounds of bullet shells left on the street. He has continued to ignore all the neighbors complaint and continues to endanger the well being of the entire block. He does not care about others let alone God! On the final day before signing, He had the audacity to hold an open house trying to sell it out from under our feet, claiming that "buyers could not come to terms" Right off the bat we had to sink another 2k into plumbing issues. We worked with Basil Yaqub when purchasing our first home. He was everything your agent shouldn't be. He did not share important information with us nor offered us advice he should have. The closing process was painful and took ages. He did not update us at all, in fact we had to be the ones calling him, reaching out to his assistant and asking about updates. After the closing we found out that he had completely disregarded our confidentiality agreement and outright lied to us more than once. Extremely unprofessional and disgraceful behavior. Do you even realize the problems we've had to face because we didn't get the house sooner? * you wouldn't respond to our agent more often that not and that's the reason we had to ask our agent to connect us to you incase talking to you directly made a difference. You weren't our agent(thank god for that!) *you didn't even clean up properly after those hooligans left. *you "remodeled" the house but did a subpar job. We are having to pay to get a lot of things fixed! For example- the electrical wiring is all messed up which guess what IS A FIRE HAZARD!! We have had to spend 7k+ to get it all fixed!! BASIL had a house listed and to get this guy to even give a reply was like pulling teeth, then after offers were in, STILL didnt even have the respect to tell other offers they did not get the offer just had to figure it out on own when the house went pending. No responses, no details, no communication at all. And just to add to the home he had listed the PGE was off, so when we looked at house we couldnt even turn on lights. read more

ATTN: YELP READERS The responses you read from Paul to negative reviews (reference Paul's response on 9/6/16 to Salman H. and then his response to me on 9/7/16) are perfect examples of what NOT to do when trying to make a wrong right. The responses clearly show the rational and thinking of the owner of this company which is not good for business. In response to Paul's comment, I've said what I've said in my original review for a reason and clearly based on other recent reviews of this "business" I am not alone. The facts are: *As a Realty Broker, Paul and his agents had a fiduciary duty to disclose all relevant and material information to non-principals concerning details of the transaction. In this particular scenario, Paul was involved because of the lack of obedience by his agent. *While I had every right to cancel, only a fool would do so when all contingencies were removed meaning, I would lose a substantial amount of money (earnest money deposit). The reality is, I operated in good faith with the information that was available and when the truth was revealed, I intended to hold everyone accountable for actions that could have been prevented with disclosure. Those actions cost me additional money which I should not have to pay. *Finally, don't flatter yourself Paul thinking you did me any favors. What favors did you do for me exactly...Meeting with me to try to try and remove a holdover seller (who by the way, knew what they were doing because the home had been in escrow for 5 months which gave them plenty of time to get over their situation. They chose to sell, no one forced them). Somehow getting my offer accepted as a favor even though my offer was the highest and strongest? I submitted my offer like everyone else and the seller accepted my offer..PERIOD. I have no obligation to be grateful to your your team because you did NOTHING. That is the exact reason why the review was written and legal action was taken. I am not nor have I harassed you. I simply reminded you of the fact that you have an open judgement in excess of $8k that needs to be resolved and until it is paid, you will continue to get notices of intent to collect. My theory on your change of perspective on human nature is simple: you have no moral compass and your guilt is keeping you up at night responding to poor reviews at 12:08am in a way that doesn't help your company image.
