I have been going to Pacific Science Center on-and-off for decades. In the past, I loved watching movies at their Boeing IMAX; I went often enough that I funded a chair during the renovation. Ever since other theaters allowed reserving specific seats, I have stopped going to the Pac Sci IMAX since I need to wait in line for 1+ hour to sit on the chair with my name. I wish they would switch to a reservation system. I also used to come for the special exhibits. Favorites included the Star Wars exhibit with genuine movie props, the Pompeii exhibit with frescos, and the Harry Potter exhibition. They haven't had any high-quality special exhibits for a very long time. Kinda sad about that. The old reliable and crowd favorites such as the butterflies and the insects are still there. The dinosaur exhibit is gone. Parts of it are sadly becoming old and tired. Construction is somewhat on-going with parts of their property sold to help manage finances. I hope they will find a way out of their financial hardships. We recently went to see the spiders exhibit. Those with arachnophobia need to stay far away. With giant models, live specimens, and dead specimens, kids are squealing with delight while adults (like me) kept saying eeeewwwwww, also with delight. Keep it up, Pac Sci. Seattle needs you. Being a tech city, we need the science to back it up.

Pacific science Center is a great activity, especially if you need something on a rainy day. Some of the exhibits are a little dated and unfortunately a film festival was going on so we could not see anything in the IMAX however, laser light shows and planetarium are included with admission.

I wanted to like it but man oh man was it disappointing. We came here on a date, no kids, but we like to visit science centers in many cities and even though they're mainly catered to kids, we usually love it as adults. This place is huge but they're not using it well. There are a few cool things like trying to pick up 550 pounds, the butterfly exhibit (which was the only actually cool thing), and some little things here and there. No food other than the theater. Not very educational even for kids unless they're very young, I wouldn't take my kids here as it seems very pointless. The main reason we came here was for the Planetarium which was SO disappointing. Usually they're so much better. This seemed so outdated and fuzzy and pretty pointless unless you're a toddler. The parking garage is so expensive and not even that close for the price. It's a whole maze on how to get in, especially during construction. It says "follow the posted detour signage" and there's no signage. We had to ask for directions 3 times before we actually got to it. Just VERY not worth it.

It's actually so fun to come here! You can go here as a date idea as a whole family, just friends, personal relationships, etc. We wanted to check out the spider exhibit that was added and the line was very long so we went in the main area first and goofed around and read some of the things, the butterfly exhibit was very beautiful and really immersive, I honestly loved the different plants I saw over there as well (as a some want plant enthusiast). After that we checked to go back to the spider exhibit and the line went by quickly, very cool and awesome things we found. I'd say check it out before the spider exhibit is gone! We only paid $10(each) for our tickets and after we went over to the armory to check out the dia de los muertos (day of the dead celebration) and it was so beautiful and touching!

Finding activities for all three of my children (ages ranging from 1-6 years old,) to participate and enjoy can be challenging. The Pacific Science Center is one of our favorite places to visit because all of my children can explore and play together. The activities require their tiny but mighty minds to work and once they've successfully put a puzzle together, built a fort, connected tubes, pulled themselves up, manipulate water, make music, organize blocks in a box, etc. I can see their excitement of success. The customer service is always great, the team really goes over and beyond to ensure all guests are enjoying their experience. There is hand sanitizer, and restrooms located through throughout the center. If you have little children who enjoy very interactive activities this is your place; I highly recommend!

It was fun to go once but not sure I will be back. The Dino's were cool and we enjoyed the information on them and the size comparison to a real person. The butterfly's are the best part!! So many and so cool to get up close and personal with them. Had a few land on me, so cool! I hate the pricing. As an out of state guest I was charged more to visit than a WA resident. Even though I am paying for a hotel, all my meals and coffee, and what not.. I am forced to pay more to visit this attraction.

Even though some areas are still under construction since the big remodel and reopening, I cannot say enough about how much fun it is for the entire family, from grandparents to toddlers! There was a lot of friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff. Everything was clean and plenty of space to roam. The current Spider exhibit is a hit! So much to see and do. Many interactive exhibits to keep the learning fun. Only negative is if there is a Kraken game or any event going on, be prepared to pay more for parking than it costs to get in. (still worth it!)

Toddlers can spend a whole day here

Such a fun place for toddler and kid! There's much to do that will keep them occupied plus the science show that was engaging. It was fortunate they the two times we went were not crowded.

Can't beat the $10 adult and $7 child admission fee through most of November. It's a great time to experience the Spider experience. Included in the fee are laser shoes and the space and science exhibits. Great for about 4 years and above. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Enjoy!

I had an amazing Sunday afternoon here! Tickets are $10 until November 20th 2025 so that was a nice surprise when booking the ticket. This was my first time back as an adult and it was still fun. My favorite part was the butterfly house. I was disappointed to see the planetarium wasn't open, I was looking forward to that the most.

Very cool spot. Lots of interactive areas for kids and curious adults. They have a butterfly house as well as a movie theatre. Pretty big and seems to be worth the money you spend on entry.

Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

The experience exceeded my expectations, specifically for exceptional service! As we walked in the door, the hostess was super friendly. We sat at the large high-top table with the fire pit nearest to the hostess stand with a view of the water. Our server, Amber, consistently went above and beyond and carried herself with a bubbly and positive aura. She guided our selections of fries, fish tacos, salmon mousse, and tuna poke bites and frequently checked on us to make sure we were doing okay. Amber was also very professional and polite when she cleared plates and dropped off the drinks and food. Speaking of the food, every dish had great presentation. I wouldn't say the taste was out of the world but everything was still good and worth the price. The two hours we spent there flew by and by the time we decided to wrap up, all three of us were commenting on the great service (which led me to write this review). As a final gesture of hospitality by the restaurant, the hostess let my mom keep the bar purse hook that was given to her to hang her purse. However, everything crashed when we received our check and realized this restaurant ownership group is one that tips themselves an additional 20% of your bill simply for allowing you to dine via a "service charge" and doesn't share a dime of that forced gratuity with their waitstaff, pushing us into the moral conundrum of providing double gratuity (one for them without your consent, and one with consent for the individual who actually worked for it), or allowing your server to work for a non-living wage. We might understand this concept for large groups or special events, but we were a party of 2 simply trying to enjoy a nice dinner. In an industry where the consumer already subsidizes your workers, this service charge concept could not be more repugnant. Your greed is as unappetizing as an ill-prepared meal and we will not be back or recommend this to anyone.
