I always mailed my stuff to previous CPA that i've been using for years (recently passed away...), and never really had a face to face consultation experience. I started off pleased at their in office demeanor and service. They fell down on the job when it comes to thoroughness, customer service, and followup. IRS requested a followup - but Pacific Tax Professionals did not notify me of this. When I contacted them to request my files - they said they would email and fax me the documents but have done neither. Further - I have been trying to contact Pacific Tax Professionals but they never answer or return my calls. So disappointing an extremely unprofessional. Would NOT recommend to anyone. read more

I never post negative reviews, but feel extremely strongly about what I'm about to say. I went in last October, and saw Gabby. She did a good job for my husband and I as far as I knew. So, I decided to use her again this month. My husband and I filed married filing separately. He claims too much and gets his refund monthly, and always ends up owing money. I claim zero or 1, and always get a refund. We have a house, of which we each pay half of the mortgage, but is in my husband's name. He bought this house after we were married. I was going to receive a very large refund, and he was going to owe around 1800 dollars. Together filing, we wouldn't have had any extra money in our pocket. My husband wanted to file together or take 100percent of the house, leaving me with no refund. I disagreed and told Gabby, I pay 50percent of the mortgage and have the bank statements to prove it. We didn't end of filing that Wednesday because we couldn't come to an agreement. I call one day later to get copies of my paperwork because she kept them in the office, and to make an appt for my husband and I, only to be informed that my husband went in before work, behind my back, and did his taxes, claiming 100% of the house, and screwing me out of any refund. Now, why am I writing about Gabby, you ask? Because, she knew he was lying, she knew I had concrete proof that I paid half the mortgage, and she still filed his taxes. It was unethical of her to file his taxes when she knew he was lying. But, she informed me, the house is in his name, so he could do that. I told her, what she should have done was simply say, I am uncomfortable being put in the middle of this. I'm happy to do your taxes, if you can both come back in together. I basically got screwed over by my husband, and screwed over by her lack of experience and unethical behavior. I do not recommend this business to anyone because I feel this situation would not have occurred if she had been an experienced CPA. I am extremely disappointed. read more
