We were stuck at an off road location in kettleman city. We had a front wheel drive sienna and got stuck on the powdery soft soil and tried desperately to find wood and twigs to give the wheel traction to dig out but finally decided to call AAA and the other towing service J&D came out but told us that they couldn't get us out because they only had two wheel drive. Long story short, AAA recommended for us to use a commercial towing service which is why we went with Pacific Towing. They were at the next city so we waited about 45 minutes for the driver Willy to get to us. He got some skills though. He walked the whole pathway to get to us so that he doesn't get stuck also and reversed all the way to tow us out to the main road. My son is in the NAVY on active duty and he parked his car in a questionable parking lot at an apt. Building. Overnight this company towed his car away. My son is putting the car into his name this week. Until then, I had to email them my license info and give permission for my son to get his car. I emailed them and asked if they would consider reducing their fee because service people don't make a lot of money. They refused to discount the $310 they charged him. Which I believe is highway robbery! They are a small family owned business that don't give a sh*t about the people who defend our country. Which to me.. I pray they never need defending because they don't deserve it! I don't believe companies like this deserve a good word or any support... they are just out to make a buck off anyone they can. Review from my experience on 9/8/2023. I called this company a little after 9 o'clock on a Friday night. My front tire blew out on the highway outside of Hanford. The gentleman that answered the phone was very quick, efficient and understanding. He quoted me fair price (that also didn't "change" after the service was completed). He gave me an estimated timeframe but the service technician arrived early. She went to work straight away. Shout out to the service technician Melissa! Amigos was the first one on google when I search and I call them they said that they'll be there so I waited and waited for about an hour and No tow truck shows up so I call them again but this time no one answer which was around 1 am finally I call another tow company which is pacific towing. So thankful to Brandon of Pacific Towing! I locked my keys in my car (i have no spare), my purse and my daughter!! She's 2, so you can imagine my horror. I have AAA, but they had my on hold forever (& i hadn't even been connected to a live person yet after 5 min). I hung up & googled towing businesses. Pacific Towing popped up & I spoke to Brandon who told me he'd be there in 10 min. By that time, my daughter was crying, i was crying & my son was late for school (though that was the very least of our problems). At the 10 min mark, I called back anxiously to get an ETA; he answered right away & told me he was less than a min away. Seconds later, I saw his truck racing around the corner. Master cylinder went out on a 4 way was able to pull off to side of street called AAA they sent out S&D I believe, waited atleast an hour before they got there driver immediately told me he could do nothing for me because my car was slight lowered and had an intercooler reason being is i needed a towhook and said he probably still couldn't help...
