We had used Pacific Town Car for many years without issues. However, most recently we spoke with "Michael" there to reserve a ride from Marin County to SFO and return, for flights to and from Hawaii. "Michael' pulled our file and confirmed our address and cellphone number and confirmed that their driver would pick us at 6:45 am on the agreed date for a 9:00 am flight. At exactly 6:45 am on flight day I received a phone call from the driver, asking whether 21st street was our cross street because he couldn't find our address. I asked him where he was, because there is no 21st street here (oof anywhere in Marin as far as I know}. He replied that he was in Oakland, not in Marin County. I then had to get all of our things into our car and head to SFO in rush hour traffic and fog. Fortunately we made the flight, barely. En route I called "Michael" and told him what had happened. He was unapologetic, saying that he hadn't been told by the driver and that the driver must have been confused or been given the wrong address. When I told him to cancel our return pickup since we obviously had our own car at SFO, he just mumbled "yes, I guess I should cancel." In the past both Pacific's dispatchers and its drivers seems to be Russian, but spoke perfect English, and were excellent in all respects. Neither Michael nor the driver this time were either Russian or remotely alert. I don't know if the company has changed hands, but it certainly has changed its performance. Never again. read more

When looking for a town car service, at first glance. I thought this company would be adequate. After reading the two reviews below, I considered making a reservation.... Mistake!!!! For one... When I called them at around 3am, which they advertised, could be reached 24 hours. The operator on the other end told me I needed to schedule a reservation online.... So I did. Then I had a question about the fleet, first was with the Mercedes Benz S Class they advertised... Boy was I surprised turns out " Latest Models" equals a 94'!! and the years on the town cars... don't get me started! I would at least appreciate some accurate information. Also when I called back the second time, the operator seemed to be asleep as was hard to understand, let alone rude!!! Pay more and get a better service... I called Quicksilver, and a very polite man answered and helped me right away, thats what I call service.... not this crap!!! Save yourself the embarrassment and money...LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!! read more

Whilst the booking process is a bit clunky, the service on the day is great. Pick up at the door was 5 minutes early. Car was immaculate. Driver was clean and well presented. Max was helpful via e-mail for planning our trip. The driver was early and helped us load luggage. Only downside was I was charged $6 tolls despite travelling in the non-toll direction on the bridge and the vehicle was slightly dirty (there was a baby bottle top sitting in clear view on the floor below me, etc.). Like you say in your response I paid for my ride. And I gave an honest review of my experience. The elderly couple asked for a card to be kind they did not use your services to return to the airport so don't even try that. Your company charged my for an additional ride that I didn't take. Stop trying to come up with excuses for the poor behavior of your employees. The only person who made any threats was the people at your company. Posting private information and threatening to post videos of customers rides on YouTube. Anyone who uses your services would have to be insane and I will not be removing my honest review of this company. read more

These guys are great - easy to book online, courteous on the phone, and a fleet of new, immaculately clean cars. I mean you could do surgery in these things, although I assume that's frowned upon. The drivers are ideal - safe, polite, efficient, and happy to adjust anything, even very nit picky requests about AC which I generally have. Mine even had a shade set up on the appropriate side given the long ride from San Jose to SF. It's not the kind of service you call when you need a car in 5 minutes, but it's definitely the place to call when you want someone to show up on time in a spotless vehicle and peacefully take you to wherever you're going. read more

Was flying into San Fran for just one meeting and did not want to deal with a rental car or taxi, so used Pacific Town Car. It was great! My flight landed 20 mins early and when I called for pick up the driver was already at the airport.... My return trip, again he was early... Which was perfect because I set the time later just to be safe... But was done early as well. Would highly recommend them and will use them again next time I am in town. read more

I discovered Pacific Town Car about 7 years ago and have not used another car service since. Their rates are cheaper than most of the other car service companies and it is more than worth it to pay an extra $10 over a cab and not have to deal with a smelly, dirty car and a driver with a bad attitude. Pacific Town Car drivers are incredibly professional and courteous. Always on time and they use late-model Executive Sedans. I have never had a bad experience. The booking process is easy, despite what another reviewer posted. I use them regularly for trips to SFO and have even booked them for a night to take me and some friends to the French Laundry in Napa. This is a family run business - Alex and Julia are great - and I would highly recommend them! read more

Town Car services are used extensively on the East Coast, and I guess haven't caught on quite so well here in SF. But if you do the math, and you add a little quality of life to the balance, getting a town car to SFO, and having them there to pick you up when your flight lands is super great. You feel like a rock star, or maybe you are one. Anyway, it's well worth the extra $10 or so for two people over those notsosupershuttle folks, and costs pretty much the same as a taxi...but have you been in the back of a new spotless Lincoln Town Car lately? Pacific Town Car has been around for a while, and they have kept their rates low, and are amazing with the customer service thing. Quiet, professional and prompt with efficient smooth drivers. I was visiting my sister in Sunset and needed to get to the airport for a 7am flight. Taxis don't come out here--- or at least from my experience when calling for them. I did a yelp search last night and found Pacific. I requested my pickup for 5:30am... the driver arrived early- at about 5:20- in a beautiful town car. If you are okay with their guys not showing up or, if they do, you get a driver who is a lunatic who swerves in and out of lanes, passes on the shoulder, etc., or if you call them on the number that they gave you and the owner gives you a wrath of sh---t for using the "wrong number" (which worked fine, btw), then these guys are for you. If you like being given a guilt-trip of "we are losing money on every time we drive you," these guys are for you. If you like being treated like a POW under Putin, these guys are for you. If you are a masochist and like being treated like $HIT, these guys are for you. If you like good, reliable, courteous and SAFE service, well, they are not for you. PTC, this is NOT Russia. I just called to inquire the cost for a pick up post major surgery I am having on Mon. I explained that my doctor's office is just 5 blocks from my apartment and that the pick up will be between 4-6pm with my doctor giving them an hour advance call when I am in recovery. The woman-with a heavy accent-whom I spoke to said $60. plus a drivers fee. I asked her if she understood what I had explained that the trip is literally five blocks. She said she did and that was the price. I was shocked and said that I had found them on Yelp with the reviews saying that they were very affordable and charge taxi prices and asked if those reviews were in fact valid as clearly they are incredibly inconsistent with what she was quoting me. She said a cab would be $5. for that distance and curtly re-iterated her price as $60. plus driver fee. So I asked again about the reviews saying if they are invalid I wanted to put a valid review as people rely on them. She said different people want to use the cars for different things and with a nasty bite in her voice re-iterated the price I would be charged for the post surgery five block ride. I told her I would make sure to add a valid review accordingly to Yelp. She hung up. My bet is ALL good reviews are manufactured by them as a $60. car plus driver fee for a five block ride is, per her own quote of the cost for a cab-$5.-is an absurd 12 times the cost in car fee alone never mind the unknown cost of the "plus driver fee" that she didn't even quote. .. ARE THEY KIDDING ME WITH THAT! THIS YELP REVIEWS ARE CLEARLY FRAUDULENT GIVEN WHAT I WAS QUOTED TODAY. THEY ARE SHYSTERS, BE WARE OF THEM!! read more

After checking with three other companies, i settled on this one because they agreed to drive my disabled, wheelchair bound father to doctor appointments twice a month, sometimes more. Not only do they come at last minute notice (if there is a cancellation at MD office), they pick him up at the door and he has a very steep driveway, help with the wheelchair, seat him and help him out atthe destination all the way into the doctors office. Of the three drivers i met, all are very nice and really seem to care about my father and treat him like he was their relative. They are professional, come on time, look very neat and drive without stressing him out even when running late due to my father taking so long to get ready. I get a hold of them any time and te price is very reasonable. Thank you for saving me so much time and money and getting my dad to his appointments. read more

Needed a car service to take us to a wedding at Headlands Center for the Arts, as who wants to drink like a fish and then drive those winding and foggy roads back to SF? Not me. Took a chance calling a place that I knew nothing about, but man o' man did we discover a great car service...this place rocks!! Two separate pick ups in SF (Mission and Panhandle) and it was only around $80 each way. $160 for 2 couples all the way to the Headlands and back. Talk about worth every penny. And of course I recommend tipping the driver more than you would your favorite bartender on top of this, and I'll tell you why...the service was right on time for both pick ups. The driver was courteous and professional. The car was extremely clean. I can't say enough good things. Need a taxi with style, then call this place!! read more

Michael always arrives 15 minutes early - regardless of the time of day and I usually have the first flight out in the am. Their service is consistently good. I wouldn't use anyone else. I have been using Pacific Town Car for over seven years now and not once have they disappointed. They are always on time or even early and provide excellent care, no matter what. The drivers are professional and will always make sure to let you know that they are outside and ready whenever you are. Last weekend me and my friends went to wine country for the whole day and got the large SUV, which was very comfortable. The driver, Eugene, was very patient and experienced in every aspect.
