We had two rides. One to SFO and the other home from SFO. The first ride was lovely. Nice, helpful driver, smooth ride, not too fast, not too slow, extremely clean vehicle. The second ride was not OK. The driver was rude, selfish, and generally not fit for this type of work. I had to call the company during the ride, to get the window lock turned off. A 50% positive rate for the driver isn't good enough to return. read more

After some less than good experiences with Uber getting to SFO in a timely manner, I've exclusively used this service. Great company. Quick to reply, driver texts passenger so time of arrival is expected. Always on time which is terrific. Also, they do monitor the flight departure time and the traffic and will make adjustments as needed (usually for early morning weekend flights, it's to push back the pick up time.) Service is reasonably priced and every driver is stellar. As a passenger, you never have to ask yourself 1. how long the driver has been licensed; 2. if it wouldn't be quicker to stop on the freeway and walk with the luggage to SFO because the driver is going below the posted speed limit in the passing lane; 3. if the driver can watch the road instead of turning around to talk. THANK YOU PENINSULA LIMO!! I had a medical procedure at a hospital in the city and needed a ride once it was over. Normally, the hospitals recommend medical transports but because I couldn't book one with short notice, I searched yelp for the most reasonably priced transportation I could and happened upon Peninsula Limo. First of all, the booking system was a breeze, both online and over the phone. I called with a question and there was no answer so I just hung up. Then within a minute, I received a call back from Peninsula Limo returning the missed call (even though I never left a message!) I was pretty impressed. The person on the line was very helpful and confirmed the cost amount for the transport. I didn't make the reservation that day, but I told her I would do it the following day online. I made the reservation online using the very easy system, and got my confirmations. I also got a second confirmation indicating I got a discount! I was super pleased. Day of the procedure I was told that my transport needed to call to notify the hospital when they've arrived. I notified Peninsula Limo of the number who then gave it to my driver. And sure enough within 20 minutes (40 minutes before my scheduled pick up time) the driver called the hospital to inform them that they were on the way. The driver was on time, the car was immaculate (a Navigator) and it was clean and even had water and candies for me on the ride. He was very professional and courteous and the ride was so fast and smooth. As I mentioned to the driver, if I could use the service all the time to go to commute to and from work I would. But because I don't have the cash flow to make that happen I just know that I will continue to use them in the future for any special transport needs. As someone else mentioned if I could give 10 stars to these folks I would. We were sitting on the tarmac yesterday at Newark airport, with the first officer coming on every half hour or so to talk about some other delay. Although we often use BART or sometimes Lyft or Uber to come home from the airport, I thought in this case given that we would get in a couple of hours after I planned arrival time I splurge for a limo service. I checked Yelp I saw that Peninsula limo had very high marks and several recent Five star reviews, So I booked with their online app. Little did I know there are two hour delay would turn into an almost 7 hour delay - and all the while peninsula limo kept up with me via text and email. I hope the request to a meet and greet knowing we'd be exhausted, and at 1:30 AM Pat, our driver was waiting for us at baggage claim. Not only was he there with a smile, but he grabbed all her luggage and carried it to his SUV. He was an excellent driver - calm and knowledgeable - and helped us get the luggage inside our gate when we arrive. I can't tell you what a difference this made to our lives - we had two hungry cats waiting for us, had been sitting on the plane for almost 14 hours between the delays and the trip itself, But the care and concern peninsula limo showed for us given all of our changes made our arrival home much smoother than we could've ever expected. I sent Peninsula Limo an email from my computer thinking that I would find a pay phone to call them when I arrived--but they wouldn't be able to call or text me. (I usually meet up at the curb.) Of course, there are no pay phones in airports anymore. BUT, as I went down to baggage claim, I heard someone call my name. The Peninsula Limo driver had parked in the garage and was waiting for me at the terminal!! There was no extra charge for this super considerate service. Prior review: These folks are fabulous. Completely on time. Very courteous. Very helpful. Immaculate cars. You may even end up with the Mercedes 550 despite having ordered a less expensive ride. I have never hired a limo service before, but I needed a driver to pick up my elderly parents at SFO with a large vehicle and bring them to a hotel in Los Gatos. My parents move slowly, and they arrived with four full sized suitcases and a large carry-on, so they needed a large SUV and a lot of help. I asked for the "meet & greet" service so that someone could find them indoors and help them. Setting up the service was so easy, they even ask for the flight number and the airline in case it is early or late. The online limo reservation, I think, didn't mention meet and greet at first, but I added it over the phone, and sure enough, they emailed me a confirmation within a few minutes with the new details added (minimal extra cost). My parents' flight arrived a full hour early, and the driver, Allen, was still there to greet them and help them right on time, sharply dressed and ready to go. I was so impressed that even at the hotel, instead of just bringing the bags to the check-in desk, he stayed and brought the suitcases all the way to their room, and no extra charge, just a big smile all the way. We were all the more impressed with his service during this difficult time in the COVID pandemic, and the vehicle was perfect too.
