I just called to find out if this company could help me but the person I spoke to cut me off after 59 seconds, rudely told me he was in a meeting, and hung up on me. The entire call lasted 59 seconds and he kept trying to squedule an appointment to see the house the entire time! But I kept telling him I needed more information first. I only needed to ask him one simple question - whether they would repair any existing damage from wear and tear on the exterior, or if I should hire someone else to repair that first. The property was never painted in years. I never even got to ask the question. Every time, I tried to ask this simple question, he cut me off and tried to book a visit. Then he announced he was in a meeting, and hung up. It is obvious he was not in a meeting and he just felt that taking more than 59 seconds to answer one question was too much to ask. I selected them out of the painters I met with. He answered all my questions, was professional and focused on doing an analysis/assessment of my home. He gave me a professional proposal that delineated all of the items we had discussed. When I had questions he responded quickly. I wanted power washing of my tile roof, done. I wanted to ensure he was licensed and insured: yes! He provided me the color palette and used Dunn Edwards. I picked out my colors and delineated how I wanted it. I was concerned with all of the stucco repair needed. His crew did a great job! My house had not been painted since it was built 19 years! Now the product: all I can say is wow!! Pacific West painting did an excellent job at painting the inside of my house. Gustavo is extremely nice and easy to work with, and was very accommodating. He also picked up some paint samples for us and paint them on different rooms in the house to figure out which color was best. He gave us a very fair price for the painting, my bike, and the whole job took him only three days to do. He also came back after the job was done to touch up a few additional things that we requested. Sometimes we get lucky when we get two out of three choices when picking a service: price, quality or speed. Well, we got really lucky when picking Gus and crew as we received all three in spades! the price was substantially lower than what others were asking, the quality as exceptional and the speed was impressive. I've been remodeling our house since August and this was the last job we needed done. I was tired of correcting errors, jobs running over schedule by weeks, fixing construction damages done by others and replacing plants being ruined because I asked that all equipment remain off the grass. I had none of this with Pacific West Painting. They painted what the plaster company missed. i asked for door jams be painted on two doors and they painted the entire door(s) too. They gave us a house that looked brand new with proper caulking, sanding, taping off fixtures, and removing and re-installing lights. My father worked for Dunn-Edwards for 45 years. Gus failed at keeping appointments, delaying selection of colors. It was very stressful as he rushed me into selecting colors 2 days into the job using small patches of wet paint on stucco. After paying dried, base color was too dark and had already been purchased. I had to buy lighter color paint and while also incurring darker color cost of about $500. I have a large home with lots of wood so he said job would required 5 men for 7 days. Two days into the job, he pulled 3 men, leaving me with 2 for the next 5 days because he had committed himself to another job while doing mine. Everything was rushed and created so much stress for me. If things weren't bad enough, one of his supervisors groped me and was propositioning himself. The quality of the work was undeniably great because the workers are meticulous and thorough, but I still ended up having to hire another painter to redo colors that were not painted the right colors. I also had to put back all my yard furniture in its original place on my own and kept calling him to come pick up the residual material. Yes, and it wasn't cheap! Over $16,000 and now I'm stuck with many gallons of paint in my garage. Additionally, one of my garage doors was bent and expensive landscaping stones in my backyard were broken. I believe the previous owner of this company was a class act, but Gus is definitely not poised to continue that legacy. read more

Gustavo and his crew re-prioritized our home interior paint project due to rain and these guys worked fast! They were done in 2-3 days and we were mostly happy with the result. They did a great job patching up drywall holes and leaving the leftover paint supplies. If I had to nitpick, I'd point out that not all of the fixtures were replaced, and looking for one was pretty funny, as we found it in a random kitchen drawer. Some paint marks did make it onto some floors, door knobs, stained glass window, but no big deal, we can fix that. I'd recommend giving Gustavo and his team a call. read more
