I met with Chris for a consultation and he explained to me how his program worked. I told Chris what my goals were and he listened. I signed up for both group classes and semi private training sessions. I attended an average of 3-5 classes per week when my schedule permitted it. The group classes do fill up quickly so you'd have to really plan ahead and sign up for it with their online scheduling. I lost a total of 5lbs within 6 months of Chris' Program and built back my endurance. I feel stronger and more energized because of his workouts. I weigh less than I did pre pregnancy! Since the Daly City location closed and the influx of people happened, it's been a fairly rapid decline into squalor. It's a small gym and just adding more broken down equipment from the closed gym doesn't make up for more people here. The machines break down more often and seem to be taking longer to be repaired. They seem to run out of paper towels every month. Now it seems that they have just stopped cleaning, at all. There is dust, dirt, debris, and trash on most every floor surface. Almost all the lips between the concrete floor surface and the rubber mat surfaces are coming loose. No one goes around and puts stuff in its proper place, some of this is on the members, but there needs to be tidying done...it used to get done regularly.

It honestly feels like management doesn't care about cleanliness or the experience of their members. The front desk staff (the girl working Tuesday around 10 PM and the guy who said he was her boss) were extremely unwelcoming and rude. They spoke in a very aggressive and threatening manner and were clearly misrepresenting the information in the contract. Instead of helping or explaining things professionally, they tried to intimidate and confuse the situation. This kind of behavior from staff is completely unacceptable. The management is also very misleading. Their main goal is to sell you a membership at any cost, and once you sign up, they make it extremely difficult to cancel. They keep charging your card month after month even when you try to get out of the membership. I would strongly recommend staying away from this place. There are many better, cleaner, and more honest gyms in the area.

I paid $20 for a day pass with the intention of getting in a good workout. As soon as I paid and tried to his the equipment, that's when I found most of the equipment (exception of treadmills) was taken. As soon as something opened, someone else was there to swoop in and the waiting game reset. The gym has some pretty good options from an equipment perspective, but the person to equipment ratio doesn't support efficient hopping to different equipment in a timely manner. While I am appreciative that they offer day passes and by extension the option to work out, the crowd made it non-optimal.

I have been a client for years and love that she is always going to fitness and nutrition classes to learn different ways to keep her clients looking and feeling great.
