The only gym I've ever looked forward going to! It's clean, welcoming and has a great staff.

These guys are a bunch of crooks. When i signed up I was charged twice and I had to call my credit card and them to fix this problem, I had to physically stop by for them to cancel the double charge. My first month here, my car was rear ended, I've called this place numerous times to cancel my membership and they have not. They only have staff during office hours and you must fill up a paper application to cancel. Now they are sending me an email after a week of me having to actually go there physically. The staff threatened me that they will collect an extra month after I cancelled... Now I get an email saying that I have to send payment, and they have to receive it in time otherwise I will be continually charged. Yep. Stay away from this place. They are crooks. Mind you I had to go to this place last week to cancel this. I've been a member for almost a year because they kept charging me. read more

I ended up finding anytime fitness cause I wanted a gym that was truly 24/7. I had a 24 hour fitness membership but I never liked their hours as I would go early (3am-5am), late at night, or on holidays and they were always closed. Anytime fitness was great! I could go 100% anytime I wanted. They held up to their name unlike other companies. They had plenty of squat racks, dumbbells, cable machines, leg machines, ab machines, whatever you needed they had. They even had wrist wraps, weight lifting belts, elastic bands, ab roller, yoga mats, foam rollers, and even massage guns. Unfortunately I am moving and they don't have an anytime fitness near me but I seriously will miss this gym. Staff and members were always friendly and considerate. If I ever find anytime fitness near me again, I will for sure sign up. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

Where do I begin? I am looking for a gym and thought I'd give this one a shot. My buddy is a member and we pulled up at 2pm so i could be a guest for the first time to try it out. They charged me $25 for a guest pass! Ive been to plenty of gyms in the bay area and this is the FIRST one that doesn't give a potential customer a free pass! I've been to 3 Anytime Fitness locations and this one of my favorite. It's big, it's clean and it is rarely busy. Worth the membership,

I go at night when staff isn't there. One thing I like about this gym is the ability to go at 10-12 at night. But: The equipment is sometimes broken. The wipes are sometimes empty. The hand sanitizer dispensers are sometimes empty. Sometimes they are filled but not dispensing. Sometimes soap is empty in the shower. Sometimes there is mildew in the shower. Tonight there is no hot water. Maybe someone could do a 5 minute walkthrough mid-day and again before leaving for the day to make sure things are stocked and working. Check the wipes, hand sanitizer, soap, and showers. Raise/lower the seats on the machines and do a couple reps. I know it's not exciting, but that's business. read more

4.5 stars Love this gym. It's very welcoming and, for the most part, the machines are readily available. For the most part, staff are cool. On occasion, the wipes are not as available as they should be. My biggest pet peeve at this gym are the rude ass patrons that do not have the common courtesy to not be on their phone while on the equiptment. Seriously!!! Sir... excuse you sirs (yes its multiple people)... No one wants to hear about your bum ass business transactions or insurance issues or dinner plans. And now you're offended. People are staring at you in hopes that you get the clue to get off the phone. Instead, you talk and laugh louder. For what?!?! It's a problem when your crackly high-pitched voice is louder than the overhead music and headphones. Just.... go away. Please. Have common courtesy folks. Don't talk on the phone while in the gym. I really don't want to sound like a cheese ball but this is legit the BEST GYM! I would have to justify old gym memberships & guilt myself into showing up. But not here! The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and consistently showing up for people. The Pacifica location is clean, well staffed, and SAFE. The Pacifica location stays up to date with equipment & machines. Often crowded, hot and smells like gym socks but great people and a lot of equipment. There's usually staff there early morning until closing, they actually have someone come and clean a couple times per week so it's a plus! Staff is attentive, friendly and awesome! read more

I left 24 Hour Fitness during the pandemic after 10 years of membership. I'm much happier with Anytime Fitness. Staff and other members are friendly, the equipment is modern and in excellent shape, and I appreciate the company's philosophy (10 minutes or 10 miles, anytime). I love that I have nationwide 24/7 access, but Pacifica is my favorite. The gym is super well-maintained, and seems to be kept clean with pride. Best gym in the Bay Area. Not too busy, clean, and has LOTS of dumbbells. They have 12.5, 17.5, 22.5 dumbbells which are great for progressive overload. I rarely have to modify workouts due to equipment not being available. Big shout out to Sarah and Dalton for being wonderful. Best gym staff I've encountered thus far. Anytime Fitness in Pacifica is the best "franchise" gym I have ever had the pleasure of exercising in. When I think about an Anytime Fitness location, I usually picture a small gym, old machinery and missing key exercise equipment. Boy was I surprised when Anytime Fitness in Pacifica opened up. Key things to note: Big - Anytime Fitness Pacifica is the size of a normal, corporate gym. New - The gym still looks new despite the heavy foot traffic. Clean - The gym is always clean and most members clean up after themselves, wipe down machines and re-rack their weights. Friendly - Everyone is super nice, most of all the staff. Expertise - Serena is the most knowledgeable and diligent (and super fun to be around) trainer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Location - Next to the beach. Living in the city, I wouldn't have ever imagined joining a gym in Pacifica. However, my hunt for an affordable, clean and quiet gym near me was unsuccessful. A friend of mine who knew I was looking to join a gym recommended Anytime Fitness. I tried the one week free trial and knew this gym checked all my boxes. I can go whenever I want whether that's 4 in the morning or 9 at night. I've learned to love the drive to Pacifica: scenic, fast and never too much traffic. Anytime Fitness is consistently clean and kept in pristine condition. Deep cleaned in the mornings, maintained by staff during the day and several sanitizing wipe stations. From day one this gym had never failed me. Cleanliness? Friendly employees? Equipments? highly recommend it! Finally found new home after my service which was hard for me to find one. The atmosphere is just right for a good work out especially its very clean and people are working out are friendly too. A lots of equipments you can utilize also the machines perfectly working. They also have trainers which is perfectly good if thats what you like. PLUS!! She worked with both my husband and me, giving us each a great personalized exercise program. Anytime Fitness is a great find and makes going to the gym an enjoyable experience. No matter what stage you are in your fitness journey, Anytime Fitness has so much to offer. Although it's not your typical huge fitness center, I personally love this quality about it since it's not overwhelming when you walk in. All of the equipment is very clean and well maintained by staff but also other members as well! The staff here are always welcoming and really make the AF community what it is. I was one of the founding members of this location. I met Serena during my initial visit and have been training with her ever since. I used to comment on what I couldn't do...plank, push ups, pull ups, stand up to pedal the spin bike, sit ups. Whenever, I said I couldn't, she gently said, "I think you can. " or "you are strong" and she was right. She keeps the workouts interesting and provides a lot of variety as well as an occasional, "Surprise!!! HOLD!" where you hold the move for 10 seconds to keep you on your toes. She adapts workouts to your personal needs and you level up so you don't plateau. I leveled up a lot faster than I expected and my endurance has improved greatly. I'm down 20 pounds and four sizes. I now talk about what I can do and when she asks if I am up to pushing myself, I say yes. It's awesome to be able to say that I can do so much more than before I joined. The staff is terrific too! In addition to Serena, Sarah, Daulton, Nick, Ramona and the owners know me by name and are always encouraging and welcoming. The members also are super supportive of each other too. The gym is clean & well equipped and you can really get a great variety in a workout. I am really glad I took the opportunity to join and that I've continued my journey with Serena as my trainer. read more

I am so disappointed in the changes with Anytime Fitness Pacifica over the past 5-6 months. I understand trainers leave, but most of the trainers who had led classes at this location have left in recent months. I have not received notices (except once) when a class has been cancelled. I know it's not the trainers fault, because they told us they were going to miss a class. When a class wasn't cancelled, we all showed up assuming there was a sub. Because of the recent loss of trainers, there are few class options (especially at times working people can attend.) When I first joined (I was an original member) the trainers, manager and staff were wonderful. It is sad that the class options (which I pay extra for) are no longer a viable option. I still do attend for individual workouts, and that has not been a problem. I miss my classes and a well managed gym! read more

I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. The staff here is very friendly but honestly this business just wants your money. They make you sign up for an over priced contract that lasts of a year, which I was okay with because they offered an option to freeze your subscription. Half way through I was going through unexpected emergencies and also realized that this was not the gym for me because I was paying so much money and it didn't really offer what I personally needed. I stopped going and I freezed my contract. I decided to ride it out until my year was up, even though I wasnt going anymore because I signed a contact. However even then, it was very difficult and took a long time for me to finally cancel. They dont really care about whether youre happy with your experience, they just want to get as much money out of you as they can. I know the workers are just doing their job so I dont blame them at all. After a whole year, I couldn't cancel because I had to pay for the time that my contract was frozen. So I had to keep waiting and paying $70 a month for something I was not using. And when the time was finally up, they tried charging me for an extra month because I needed to give them a one month notice, when I have clearly been trying to cancel for a long time. Thankfully they at least only charged me for half a month ($30). There was nothing I could do because I signed a contract, but their policies are very greedy and money driven. Its a perfectly fine gym if you have the money and are willing to pay that much and are interested in what they have to offer, but it is just way too overpriced for me and was not what I was looking for in a gym, especially for it being such a small space. Unfortunately, I was pretty disgusted with their financial policies once I realized what I signed up for. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love this gym because it's small but has all the equipment I need. It's not overcrowded, people clean up after themselves, and it's open 24/7. Today I went back to the gym after having a 30-day pass in August that cost me $75. I wanted another month long pass and one of the team members asked another what the rate was and she told me it would be $90 because the lower rate was for the summer. The two people at the front desk seemed uncertain of what their rate was, which seems unusual for people who work in membership services. The price shift made me feel that I was being taken advantage of because I like this gym and wanted to start going there again. At the end, one of the team members ended up being able to give me a rate of $80. In the future, transparency about pricing would be nice. For now, I will enjoy my 30 day pass but $90 seems a bit unreasonable considering that gyms closer to me in San Francisco charge around the same price. I will reevaluate my membership after my pass expires. read more

I have been coming to Anytime now for 9 months now and it has been the best gym experience I ever had. Everything is spaced out nicely and never to crowded when I go. Even if I go at a busier time there is always space for me to get a workout in. The staff is also super friendly really get to know everyone! OMG!!! This gym is so perfect for me all the equipment I needed everything I wish for are here cardio, weightlifting, muscle sculpting, different fitness class with professional friendly fitness trainers I have a lot to say but, before I forgot to mention my most favorite workout which is the punching bag and other boxing-martial arts equipment. Oh, there's more it's a bonus since I drive an Electric Vehicle an EVGo charging station beside it so every I come parked it there and charge it while working out and wait there's coffee shops, many restaurants, banks and grocery stores around. What more could I ask? None! Bathroom and restrooms are clean nice people around... Oh, the friendly staffs always ready to assist and greet you and from time to time Sarah the GM always have my favorite gym snacks, bars and energy drinks available ha! ha! She's cool!!! This is my second home and the staffs we became friends aside from Sarah who is a devoted GM I see her around checking everything the tidiness, cleanliness and sanitization is all taken cared of see it for yourself come visit and you'll see and experience what I'm talking about. Daulton, Serena, Archer, Julia, Ramona, coach D and my trainor Nick they're great love them they are my second family!!! I've been using the gym for almost a year now and it makes me regularly come and happy feeling that they're always there to welcome you! I'm an Uber driver as my other job when I'm not busy on my multimedia business.
