Before I give this review of my horrible moving experience from Texas to Arizona, I would like to thank Sarah and Dustin for their attempts to help in this situation. Moving long distance is never easy but my experience was unacceptable and included a DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703 which I will explain below. On January 6th, Leo and two teenagers showed up in an Enterprise Truck that carried another load to load my items from Corpus Christi, TX. Before Leo arrived he sent me alarming text messages asking "if I lived on a military base" because his helpers looked really young and he wasn't sure if they had a record. Red flag #1. I should also start by saying I used Americas First Moving who is a broker that I WILL NEVER use again also due to their poor assistance which is how Pack & Go was selected. When Leo and team did arrive, almost an hour after their initial time given. I was met with unprofessionalism to include being told that it could take up to 30 days for my items to arrive, that American Moving Services was crap and that Leo did not trust his helpers. Yes, I did read my contract and was aware this was a possibility of up to 30 days, however when I spoke to America's First Moving they had assured me of a certain delivery day. They of course threw the contract back at me so I asked for my call to be pulled if it was recorded. American Moving also did not provide me with the payment terms (deposit, then 2nd payment could be cash or card with a 5% processing fee, and that final payment had to be cash or money order. These payment terms were provided to me once I had signed my contract (which I expressed to Brian Malone who was the representative that I worked) that this is bad business to let me know after signing. This information should have been communicated prior. Once my items were loaded by Pack & Go, I provided a first available delivery date of January 9th. I was excited to hear that my items were going to be delivered on January 13th. Here is where this becomes a nightmare. A different driver from Virginia named Eddie delivered my items and before he unloaded I had to give my cash amount of $1,246. I gave him $1,300 since I did not have change. This was when I realized that all of my items were not loaded from Pack & Go's Oklahoma warehouse. Again, I had to pay the full cash amount before my load could be unloaded (DOT Violation 49 CFR § 375.703). My items that were missing were: All of my sofa cushions (total of 6), three out of 4 dining room chairs, my custom side table, night stand, and holiday tote. I immediately called Pack & Go the next day to inform them and was told "I could not be provided with an ETA of when my items would be delivered because they needed to find a new driver and have a truck full that was coming back to Arizona." I understand needing to do what's best for business operations, however this was not my fault that my items were left. This required me to call daily for a status update until my missing items were delivered on January 31st. So from January 13-January 31st I had to deal with this with the pit in my stomach that I had paid in full and had to wait at minimum 30 days for any type of compensation which still never came for the inconvenience as I was told would happen due to all of this. I write this because I do not want anyone else to have to experience this. Maybe for local moves Pack & Go would be better but for long distance I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using them if you'd like to have all of your items delivered at one time and without having some items damaged as well.

They never once made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing them, and they stayed so positive, kind, and helpful the entire time. They went above and beyond, helping me with every random little thing that came up like finding me a stand on amazon that would fit my tv and giving me opinions on my decor when I needed advice. Just genuinely such nice people and such a great experience. I'm incredibly grateful for how accommodating and helpful they were, especially on such short notice. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat!

It took three attempts before the contract was actually written correct correctly. But that didn't matter because they were supposed to be there between six and 630 on a hot August day and they arrived at about 640 with one truck. I specifically asked if they were full-time workers or hired and they shared with me they were full-time and they also shared that they had their own moving trucks and they actually showed up in a U-Haul truck. Of course at this point when you're ready to move an entire house they kind of have you over a bend and they realize this so I had three movers and one truck and I made a phone call and I talked with the Oklahoma City manager, not the initial person out of Tulsa and he was very like well things happen, you know we're doing our best we have to pivot, blah, blah, blah blah blah, and they can go get another truck you know, U-Haul doesn't open until seven. They had a truck breakdown and they knew they didn't have their own moving truck last week. So again he kept saying well we can go wait at U-Haul but it's gonna slow down your move and we could get started and go ahead and get them going. Yada yada yada basically blew us off so we had one truck and three guys they started and they did move at a fairly consistent, slow pace. So they filled up one truck and if they would've had the second truck there we could've kept going. But what they had to do was they had to take an hour and 25 minutes to go get the second truck and they acted like well. it's really not a big deal but it actually is because if they would've had the second truck, they could've taken their hour lunch and then we could've gotten ahead of the game by 25 extra minutes. They were one supervisor type person and two younger guys, and then the third younger guy came along at 9:15. I called the owner Corey and all I got was things happen and we have to pivot and protocol this and protocol that and protocol this and he said they should communicate with you when the fourth guy is coming and there was no communication and he said well our protocol says this there is no communication. One of the young men dinged our Wall my husband ended up, going to Walmart to get some plaster and fixing it and painting it Someone else broke a lamp. And then one of the gentlemen opened our glass door too hard and the little thing that you slide to keep the glass door open broke. At this point, we just wanted them to leave. We did get a $100 discount for the hole in the wall and they are "ordering a lamp that should be there Tuesday or Wednesday we shall see. I really liked Corey the one from Tulsa, but he's a salesman and just be mindful of that. Jacob in Oklahoma City could give a rats behind. It was a debacle from the start. I had one young man who was dropping the F bomb in my home the other one his pants were literally falling down because he forgot to wear a belt. It just wasn't a great experience at all moving as stressful enough, but they certainly knew they had you over the barrel and when they just act like they don't care and that's my opinion, it makes it even worse. We end up tipping the movers. It's a hot August day over 100° took him a long time but my point being they knew they weren't gonna have two trucks for the contract and I think that's just shady. I would not recommend them based on my experience and my personal opinions .

This is in regards to Thunder moving answer to my last review. First off you are not telling the…read moretruth .I spoke to a salesman who first off lied to me about cost, and that was the only contract we saw till after the move and that one my wife signed then you copied her signature and placed it in the boxes you wanted ive got a copy now and you can tell they were electronic and pasted. Secondly I have pics of the back of the van to show there was plenty of room for my other stuff. The boxes you checked for insurance was to pays 60 cents a pound for damaged goods. Who in their right mind right mind would want 60 cent a pound as compensation? The extra you so graciously offered was 75 dollars . So 30 for my tv and 75 out of your kindness for a 500 dollar brand new tv that you made me pay 40 for a bok for it to not get broken. So I lost over what I paid u to move me and your gracious offer is 75. How about your smart elec employee who flared up in anger at my wife when asked about loading the rest of our stuff. And it goes on and on .what I signed at the end hasn't even been givin to me because he practically ran out my house . And no there were no boxes checked and it was 500 more than your estimate. All im asking for is you man up and pay for the tv you broke. You would want the same. But I can promise in no universe I live in would I ever sign for 60 cents a pound for my stuff. Ive got pictures I can start posting if you'd like. Do not use this compay

Extremely disappointed with the service we received. Several boxes were clearly labeled "Fragile"…read moreand "Do Not Stack," yet one mover ignored these warnings and stacked heavy boxes on top anyway. He also broke a desk during the move, and we now have to go through the process of getting reimbursed for the damage. He also did not speak English, which made communication very difficult and required us to direct him through each step ourselves, something we hired a moving company to avoid. The only mover who could communicate with us was clearly overwhelmed and, to make matters worse, the mover who could not speak english had headphones in during the move, making it even harder to give directions. Overall, it felt like we were doing the move ourselves despite paying for professional help. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
