We were doing some home improvements and our electrician needed access to our ceiling and had to cut holes in two different areas in our kitchen (which is open to the living room). Our electrician told us not to worry because he had someone who would be able to repair the area so that you would never know there had been a problem. True to his word, Paco was absolutely fantastic and detail oriented, proving himself to truly be a magician with drywall. He worked quickly and efficiently with minimal mess (cleaning up completely afterwards without a trace), and when he was finished, there was no evidence that there had ever been a problem. Quoted a reasonable price based on my pictures but, as I suspected, needed a little more work and he felt bad that he had to charge a little more but made up for it by doing some additional painting for free. Totally honest guy. Contacted him on Saturday, did the work on Sunday and then his painter Ishmael came back to paint on Monday. Fabian and Ishmael really take pride in his work, customer satisfaction and ethics. I ended up paying him 20% more because the amount of additional work he did and totally deserved it. Fabian Paco is a superb drywall expert and installer, but his professionalism extends much further. I originally contacted him to see about repairing accidental drywall damage in a bathroom. As he and I were talking about other concerns in other rooms, in each case he pointed out how to take care of those problems. In the end, Fabian and his crew repaired the bathroom, but also went on to (1) fix a wall in a bedroom (including repainting a whole wall), (2) replace some wooden trim elsewhere, and (3) design and install a special entry going up into the attic. All these projects together just took 2 days. The final cost for everything was extraordinarily reasonable. Fabian is forthcoming with solutions, and he is both very helpful and fair-minded. It has been great for me to have all these problems solved so quickly and completely, and I definitely plan to contact Fabian in the future. read more

What was insulting was getting a text estimate of over $13k to hang new drywall for a closet, an 8' x 2' pocket door and refinishing & patching walls in a single bedroom and bathroom. We had an AV company come in to wire 5.1 surround speakers inside the walls in our media room. And we needed about a dozen holes patched, sanded, and painted. And then even went and matched the paint color perfectly and repainted those walls to match the rest of the room. All for a reasonable price.
