They told us to try and see if wheel tech could fix it and then they could just replace the tire (had a huge gash). They did!!! It was $160 for the fix if paid in cash there is an extra charge for credit card but we had cash so I don't remember what that would have been. But so glad she has the same wheel/rim and the other tires and cost less than replacing it with the after market that wouldn't have matched! Thanks Wheel Tech! First of all, the idea of a mobile RV repair service where they come to you is brilliant. Secondly, a problem like a leaky air shock mean you don't really know if it's completely and totally fixed until some time goes by and it still holds air and Noah was OK with that. He came out again it turned out there was a slow leak in the line to the other air shock which he fixed and then kept to his estimate for fixing the one shock. I didn't have to leave the RV at some shop for days, I never needed a ride home and I never had to deal with a cranky RV repair person who would would much rather be working on simple, straight forward "replace a part and your done" problem. Overall, a great experience. Noah is very pleasant and competent. I have already used him for another job involving a water leak and I'll be definitely using him again. I'd already been to a couple other places including dealerships - with each telling me my transmission was the problem and needed it rebuilt at the very least (costing between $4-6,000!!) I initially went to Car Tech but each time, the lights were not flashing where the diagnostic machine would be able to detect it. In the meantime, my car began having issues with starting. Took it to Car Tech, and it was the starter. While Shannon was fixing that, he also discovered the solenoid was also going bad. He fixed that at a fraction of the cost other shops quoted. Then I had a few other issues pop up and once again, Shannon fixed those quickly and didn't rake me over the coals with charges on doing it. Within a few weeks of having the Starter done, my car began not wanting to start again. Shannon stands behind his work. He told me to bring it back in. It wasn't the Starter. He spent the day, running all the electrical lines and discovered my wiring harness had been tampered with (maybe one of the other shops I had taken it to?? It clearly wasn't done by any animal). A new one was gonna run over $1000. Didn't make sense to do for me car and to be honest I just didn't have that kind of money. Shannon had Brandi (the other mechanic) find that part used and it was installed on my 2013 Impala. I purchased a set of tires, 2 years ago, with a three year warranty. The front passenger side tire had a slow leak and my question was simple 'Is the tire under warranty and can it be replaced?" You'd think that this would be easy question to answer.. but I was instructed to leave my car (for an hour), they'd take a look, and let me know (keep in mind what the original question was). 1hour, turned into 3 hours.. with no update. I watched several employees casually walk through the lobby, without a care in the world.
