The food here is great but the attitude of the owner is horrible. Had 8 of us for lunch . When the bill came the owner refuses to split the check so each person could pay for their own food. Then when she came back to the table she demanded we pay an additional 18% tip. The service was terrible and did not warrant a tip. The food did not come out together but 5 to 10 minutes apart. We enjoyed the Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) and the Pineapple Fried Rice (recommended). The noodle dish was a perfect amount of spice and the fried rice would be loved by anyone. I placed an order to go. I did not want to butcher the language so I ordered based on the menu numbers. The person on the phone didn't know the dishes by number... no problem. I completed my order and was told it would be an hour. I ordered red curry, bibimbap, mongolian beef, and orange chicken. So two Thai dishes and two Chinese dishes. A little over an hour I went in for my pick up. I was not greeted by any of the 4 staff around. Awkwardly I waited.. eventually a wait staff came over and checked what i needed. She had to go to check the kitchen 2x to see if it were done. She then said they are working on it right now. I sat at the counter and waited. The dining room was strange. Not really what you would expect from a Thai restaurant. They seemed pretty busy and the food coming out smelled really good! 1.5 hours after ordering, my food finally came out and I left. When I got in my car I checked to see if everything was included and it was. The food however was room temperature. There is no way that they had just made it in the 30 minutes I was waiting. After driving home, and microwaving our meals, the food was mediocre at best. I figured the timing being off was due to being a new resturant, etc, but the food was not great. The owners of this restaurant also own a few other Thai restaurants in wyoming, so there is really no excuse for that other than just not great recipes. Over all I dont recommend, but if you do go stick to only Thai dishes, as the "Chinese options were absolutely terrible. Over the cost was over priced as well for the portion sizes you get. Had the pad Thai noodles, was not good at all, the noodles were rubber, the meat was rubbery, and the sauce was disgusting, can't even describe it. I ate ate maybe 3 bits of it. My mother had the orange chicken and it was just a chicken breast with breading on it, it fell off as soon as she cut into it, the sauce was like orange juice, not thickened, was and tasted like orange juice. They sat us right by the register and would not leave us alone to eat, when asked if everything was good I said no my dish was gross, they told me it was because I was not used to eating this kind of food, ( I've eaten this food a lot before, different restaurant) was told I needed to work up to this kind of food. Both of our dishes were 14 dollars, they didn't take any off for the disgusting dish I had, a side of fried rice was 7 dollars, after what all we got the total was 70 dollars read more

This place just opened up and this is my first time here. I ordered the calamari, Mongolian beef and the Masaman Curry with chicken along with a Thai iced tea. The calamari was meh, seemed store bought but it came with a homemade sweet and sour sauce that made it good. The Mongolian beef and curry was extremely good. Clearly they know what they are doing. The staff is very friendly and extremely eager to help you and welcome you here. If you are weary of trying Thai food, they also have some Chinese dishes as well. I rarely leave Yelp reviews but I want to counter some of the negativity this restaurant received when it first opened because it is DELICIOUS. Demand was crazy and they didn't have the staff to keep up. But we've ordered takeout from here multiple times a week for a few weeks now and we love it. I come from a bigger city with authentic Thai food and this is the first place I've visited in Wyoming that felt authentic. The Tom Kha is exactly what you expect. The Mongolian beef is phenomenal. The dumplings and egg rolls are to die for. The curry was a little watery, so we stick to the Drunken Noodles. Overall, a great authentic taste of Thai food in cowboy country. Pad Thai is a new Thai restaurant in Sheridan, WY and a welcome change from the steak houses that dominate the food scene here. The food here is definitely authentic Thai, and everything we've tried so far is delicious. The restaurant smelled like fish sauce when we walked in for lunch a few days ago, and that immediately made me happy. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share and some Thai Iced Tea. The tea was nice and creamy but not too sweet. The garden rolls were nice and fresh, though I thought that they could use a little more fresh herbs. The laarb was spicy and very good. We tried it with chicken. I'm used to seeing it served with cabbage, but they served it over iceberg, which still delivers the fresh crunch you want. The spicy fried eggplant was our stand out favorite, thin sliced half moons of eggplant fried and drizzled with a sweet and spicy sauce. I am another that hardly ever leaves yelp reviews even though I use the app but I just had to for this one. I read some of the reviews followed their suggestions and ordered the Massimo on curry with chicken and the eggrolls I am only a few bites in and enjoying it immensely.
