This is a great find. The food is absolutely delicious and the women behind the counter are as nice and welcoming as you could hope for. It is always busy and filled with Brazilians which tells you all you need to know. This is the real deal with very fair prices and generous portions. Fantastic bakery with snacks that taste like Brazil. The coxinha is fantastic, the orange juice is freshly squeezed and tasty, the coconut cake is moist and flavorful. Husband's favorite snack is the chicken on a stick (espetinho). The prices are also great!!! read more

The food here is absolutely delicious, bringing back great memories of Brazil. The service was a little slow today, but I am highly satisfied nonetheless. All the goodies you would find in a Brazilian Bakery: -Fresh squeezed orange juice -Acerola & Papaya juice -All the other tropical fruit juices - graviola, caja, mango, etc -Fresh pao-de-queijos (cheese bread) -All sorts of breads -Extremely sweet expresso - she knew I was Brazilian so she loaded on sugar! LOL -Coxinhas (my favorite finger food) -all the other finger foods typical from Brazil - empadinha, risolis, croquete, etc -Brazilian paper -Brazilian prices: expresso was $0.50!!!!! and to top it off a very sweet owner! I live 5min away from this place and i love brazilia food but they have alot to work on. Few years ago the coxinha was better it lacks flavor now, they need to be more clean, the ketchup bottles are always dirty, also i don't get why there is always people hanging outside, once this drunk guy started messing with my wife. Next to the famous Aj Seabra Supermarket, you are going to find the freshest brasilian pastries. They have all kins of brasilian empanadas, fresh out of the oven pao de queijo, they even have shrimp pies. I'm not too impressed with their "paozinho"- the wrong kind of dry/flaky on top- (3 for $1) but all the salgadinhos are good. The quality of the food dropped extremely, the coxinhas now lack flavor with an over cooked outer part tasting like dirty oil, pao de queijo always cold and the staff is not friendly at all looking like the are forced to be there. While dating a Brazilian doesn't make you an expert on the food. It does provide some knowledge on what's good and what isn't. This place is not good for Brazilian goods. While we did go there kind of late. There wasn't much left. They had coxinha and empada. Although both looked old we decided to give it a try. Big mistake. The coxinha was a bit sour and the chicken inside was very dry and old. The empada I asked for was supposed to be empada de palmito (hearts of palm) but since there where no sign or specific order. I ended up getting empada de camarao (shrimp). Which was really bad. There was no shrimp. Just a clumpy red sauce that was flavorless. The dough however was amazing. Flaky and buttery, melts in your mouth. Reason why I gave it two stars is because I have to go earlier in the day to make sure maybe I get fresh food. read more

I found this place visiting the Miami area. I heard there was a big Brasilian community so I had to check it out. I do have a sweet tooth so I sunk my teeth into foods I've never had. Wow I called my dad who is from Brasil and he was ready to get on a plane to join me lol. This is my second visit and I'm loving it here. Just re-opened, besides the typical bakery items, they also have omelets and empanadas, I order the omelette with 3 eggs, was a good size and tasted very good, asked for salt and pepper, pepper they didn't have, another problem is that be prepared to deal with the ceiling fans blowing right onto your hot meal... if you gonna be eating inside the store, I ask them to turn it off and they said it's not possible. read more

This is by far the best Brazilian bakery in the area. Convenient location, friendly staff, nice and clean! The food is tasty and they have a better variety than the other Brazilian place located a few blocks from here. Based on the previous reviews from 2-3 years ago, I did expect this place to be okay, but this is actually a great place. Horrible customer service. Came here TWICE and had to walk out both times because no one at the counter would take my order even though there was no one in front of me, very bizarre. The 2nd time I came the place was empty except for 2 people, so I thought I would have a better experience....wrong again. After the person in front of me order was taken, the employee went in the back, no "I'll be with you in a sec" nothing and disappeared. I waited, and waited, until I looked around and thought, this is ridiculous.. Also, the place looks very old and dirty, since I waited a good 15 minutes before leaving the place did not look clean or appetizing. Glad I left. read more

When I stepped foot into this Brazilian style bakery I felt I had been magically transported to a working class neighborhood in Brazil. A good selection of very tasty Brazilian baked goods, such as pao de queijo (cheese bread) and various pastries. TVs tuned to Brazilian soccer and a crowd of working class Brazilian immigrant men screaming with excitement about the game and exchanging friendly insults with each other.. Hard to be more authentic than this!!! Likely when you walk in the staff will address you in Portuguese, as I think most of the customers are Brazilians, but the staff do speak English well and will switch if they figure out you are not Brazilian.. (that happened to me because of my funny accent in Portuguese...) I visited in Nov 2010. read more

Convenient location for when you have that craving for a coxinha and good service. Other than that, nothing else is good. The place is REALLY dirty and so old. Outdated and nasty. The ketchup bottles were disgusting to touch. The meat pastel had no taste to it. I was constantly putting ketchup on it to help it go down. I know the plaza it's in is not the nicest, but at least up up some nice decorations. If you're ok with a further drive, go to Casa do Pao in Boca and you'll really have the best Brazilian experience. read more
