The beer on tap tastes like vinegar. Pretty sure that's a yeast infection. I dare you try it. I feel like this must be a front for something. They have no IPAs and no ability to make cocktails, not even a soap dispenser in the bathroom. I demanded a reason for this treatment and only explanation I got was "the bartenders don't like you". While I was sitting at the bar last night I witnessed a large black man yelling at a young woman at the bar while she was working. It was quite disturbing that this sort of behavior would be acceptable??. Any man yelling in the face of a young woman like I saw is alarming. This bar is awesome! Very fun place to go for happy hour or late night! Great drink specials including $1 beer from 5-9 Monday thru Saturday. Fantastic bourbon selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have live music from time to time, DJs on occasion and a Juke box everyday! Tons of HDTVs to watch games. Pool table in the back is fun too! If you are looking for a soccer bar in lex this is the place. I have watched numerous games here from US qualifying for world cup to Confederations cup. The drink specials are amazing and cheap. Great place to also watch any hockey game as well. Atmosphere is very chill and they have an outdoor area which is nice. It is a little small but offer plenty. read more

After the experience I had at this establishment tonight I cannot honestly give them even one star. I was having a nice night with my friend and he ordered a $10+ shot of bourbon and asked for a large ice cube in it to sip on. When the female bartender gave him a small ice cube he asked the male bartender for a larger piece. The male bartender obliged and my friend began talking about the bourbon, saying that it was one to be sipped on and enjoyed, and I gave it a sniff and sip. The male bartender then asked of we were talking s**t about him, I told him in response that he was a professional and to act like it. He then had the bouncer grab me by my throat, and throw me down the stairs into the street. I will never visit this establishment again. And I hope you never set foot on their property. read more

I will definitely NEVER be going back to this bar. As a grad student at UK who commutes from Cincinnati, I don't have the opportunity to go out in Lexington a lot. We were enjoying our Sunday and thought we'd stop in for a beer before calling it a night. Asked the bartender Ozzy about the jukebox that was working perfectly fine when we walked in. He was very rude and disrespectful in response. He then started an argument with my friend about working at college bars and went on to say that he tells everyone who asks what the cheapest thing is behind the bar (not that we did that), or about the jukebox, to F*** off. Continued to raise his voice towards my friend and I. My boyfriend had enough and yelled at him to stop. We've bartended over the past ten years in college towns, Nashville, and Cincinnati and never once have I seen a bartender be so disrespectful towards someone for simply asking if the jukebox was broken. Hailey, the bartender who served us, was nothing but a sweetheart and it's a shame that she had to apologize for his behavior and that she has to share her tips with him. If somebody has such an issue bartending at a college bar, maybe they shouldn't be bartending at a college bar. By far the worst experience I've ever had in Lexington! Save yourself the money, and the bad experience, and go somewhere else! read more

I went in had a tab open on a Thursday night went outside to the patio with a drink in my hand to answer my phone in 15 degree weather. I tried to go back in after a minute and the bouncer would not let me in because they did not know how to keep track of people. I stood there for a minute and the owner was cussing and screaming at telling me to get off the steps when all I was trying to do was close my tab. He then knocked my phone out of my hand and cracked my screen because I was recording the owner being a drunk and saying nonsense. When I went to pick up my phone he pushed me( I almost fell down like 5 stairs if I didn't catch myself). Called the cops and am planning to press charges. The place is managed horribly. Bouncers should be fired. Bottom line. I would like to say the place is decent but But even the owner is an ignorant douchebag. One bouncer called my Asian descent friend a "Chink" bc he accidentally spilled a beer and wouldn't leave because of it,my girlfriend tries to defend them saying it's not a huge deal so he kicks her out with the friend , continuing to spout slurs ,almost for fun. Also my birthday night so I try to defend her but he won't budge so we all leave. Next time I come to this subpar establishment. The same bouncer slams the door on a good friend of mine who took the initiative to apologize for being out of hand , next thing I know the bouncer is out shoving my friend almost down the stairs from the door(about 10 feet back because this Is not a fair fight and my friend is a small guy)and I have to grab the bouncer so he doesn't beat my friend to a pulp just asking that he calms down then he kicks me out. It's just a matter of a lack of morals and rationality. Not saying the place should close but replacing the bouncers is definitely past due. read more
