    Retro well Maintained Lanes

New bowler here. Decided to drop by and try the place out because I just dropped off my friend at the Bart and wanted to make the bridge toll worthwhile. At first glance Paddock doesn't look like much but the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lanes are the best maintained near Vallejo that aren't string pins. I've tried Bowlero Rohnert Park, Bowlero Vacaville, Delta Bowl and their lanes are always pretty dry. I tried bowling league in Bowlero and they tried to oil the lanes but didn't seem to do a good job. The balls came back soaked in oil and I didn't seem to notice any difference from how it normally was. I talked to Dotty the mechanic at Paddock and she said a lot of other factors like the temperature and humidity affect the oil. I also noticed when someone finishes bowling staff comes up and cleans the area pretty quickly. The attached Korean Restaurant was pretty good as well. They serve regular American diner food or have a full Korean menu. It's real food and they don't charge you 6 dollars for a soda. I think I'm gonna switch from Vacaville to here. I'm worried I'm going to develop bad habits and I'm tired of bowlero's high prices and overpriced food/drinks.

Must be a Saturday morning shot from lane 18 looking toward the patking lot and lane 1.

This is a bowling alley for league bowlers. The lanes are oiled for leagues, and it is possible to have your lanes oiled on a non-league day (ordered ahead of time and for a charge.) Paddock is putting in new machines right now, and that should be easier on our equipment and their mechanics. If you take your bowling even somewhat seriously, this is a solid house for you. That said, there are usually open lanes for open bowling, except Friday days when senior league takes all 20 lanes. Many people do book lanes for parties, especially on the weekend. There is a children's league with an exceptional coach on Saturday mornings.

Paddock bowl I appreciate you! In a world full of nothing is the same anymore, you are! We don't bowl very often but it is a fun way to spend some time. Currently Sunday is $3 dollar day. 3 bucks for shoes and 3 per game. We met up with my brothers this morning to spend some quality time. It was busy and there were parties booked but I was told this was unusually busy. We had 1 hour before a party was booked so she let us play a quick game as long as we were done by then. I bowled badly and had a blast! Started my Sunday off very nicely. Last note- the bowling shoes- surprisingly comfortable.

Pro shop- small but looks like he can get most items needed. Not many pro shops around

Location easy off freeway Small facility Looks like family owned, seemed like alot of regulars Monday, school holiday- Leagues at 10:30 and 1200 so either early morning or mid afternoon would be best.Hour wait and cafe opened at noon. No arcade Bar looked fine but since we didn't stay long didn't check out Prices reasonable $27 for 3 shoes and 5 games played total not for all three. I kid played twice. Pro shop looked nice

I went here for the first time last night to go bowling. It was league night and the kind woman at the front desk said it would be at least an hour to get a lane because the league was using. Most of them. She was very welcoming. I decided to go to the Korean restaurant inside the bowling alley instead and then I went to the bowling alley's bar which has great prices. Loved them both. Good parking here. Look forward to going back and bowling. They even have a pro shop with a staff member on Thursday league nights. Great place. Good vibes, safe.

Yes, this place is a bit grimy and run down, but that really adds to the charm. A good amount of lanes to bowl on, with pretty cheap prices. My spouse and I played three games and it was about $25. The bar was nice, with good cocktails and variety on the draft beer. There's also a cafe/restaurant that we did not try. Pretty standard bowling alley, but it's charming to see a place thriving that has a very vintage feel. Definitely a fun time.

Truthfully, this place doesn't quite feel the same to me as it did before the pandemic, but I'll always have a soft spot for it because the fam still has so much fun here--even if the wait times can be wild and the staff seems stretched thin. It's loud and chaotic, exactly what you'd expect from an arcade. I'd mainly come for the games and karaoke, though. If bowling is your priority, I'd head to Clayton Valley instead because the lanes here are on Ozempic, they're hella small. Also, AC desperately needs fixing. It's like a boiler room on one side and less hot in other places. I can't imagine working in that heat tbh.

The employee referred to a child as "handicapped." That comment was completely inappropriate, offensive, and unacceptable. No employee has any business speaking about a child that way. When I explained that I was using a lighter bowling ball because I have an injured finger, instead of showing even the slightest bit of understanding, he repeatedly spoke to me in a condescending, demeaning tone. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. There is never an excuse to mock or belittle a paying customer who is simply explaining a medical limitation. Someone who treats customers this way has no place working in customer service. Basic respect, empathy, and professionalism should be the minimum expectation. This experience completely ruined our visit, and I sincerely hope management addresses this employee's behavior so no other family has to go through the same treatment.

The day of we were running about 10 minutes late from San Jose so I called to confirm it was okay to which the hostess said they had actually stopped brunch early since it was slow. I had called at 2:10pm and brunch was supposed to be done at 3pm. We were still going and decided it wasn't that big of a deal. Once there they told us our table still had the party before us eating so they'd have to make a table somewhere else. So not only did you give a big table away to someone else knowing our reservation was there but you also stopped brunch early without contacting us to tell us our brunch reservation was changing. Ok no big deal... Then the service. The waitress was okay. She didn't smile, didn't know the flavors of drinks, didn't know the specials. We had to ask the gentleman cleaning tables to have her come back so we can get dessert. On top of this, they told us we needed to be done eating and out by 5:15pm but we can't do this if our waitress keeps disappearing and doesn't ever bring our check. When they did come back our card was not in the check folder. When we asked them where it was they said they had to look for it. Suspicious if you ask me. My MIL works at a very fancy Santa Clara restaurant for over 30 years. She has never been so unimpressed that she wanted to speak to the manager. When she did he also seemed like he didn't care, didn't offer any other help and said they were all busy upstairs for a party. Not an excuse. Then tell my husband they don't have reservations for us if you don't workers or space to properly serve us. Will not be back again. 3 stars because the food was good. That's it.
