I was visiting downtown, mid week, from the east bay. I was walking about and was drawn into Padis Jewlery by their lovely store front. I have been a customer of theirs, at their Jewlery Center SF location, for decades. Now I see Padis Jewlery and Wine Lounge in Napa that's the perfect pairing so I'm definitely interested so in I go. Upon entering I was greeted by Sheryl who was hosting in their wine lounge. What a lovely surprise to see this beautifully decorated and inviting space. Totally my style leather, wood, with Edison lighting. Classy custom wine bar area and large lounge. Then to find out that their WineMaker is Robert Foley this became a no brainer for me. Sheryl was very informative about their offerings and provided an understandable description and flavor profile about each of their wines and the AVA they came from. Fruit forward and well balanced I expected nothing less from the Foley mark. I felt comfortable here and enjoyed sitting, chatting, and sipping. Sheryl asked if I'd like to wonder their showroom. Of course especially since my brother-in-law had been interested in necklaces at their SF location just weeks prior and I am always looking around for unique pieces. Sheryl walked me to their showroom and introduced me to Lisa. We spoke about my interests in black diamonds and thin blue line bands. Lisa was extremely informative and patient with me. We had great conversation with no pressure to commit which I always appreciate. She was extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. Lisa even arranged for the necklaces my brother-in-law was interested in to be transferred from SF to their store so they were more accessible to him. I am glad I wondered into Padis Jewlery and Wine Lounge. What I unexpectedly found there were Great humans, deliciously crafted wines, beautiful jewelry and timepieces. This review is overdue but here is my experience. I have purchased multiple pieces from Padis Jewelry to include a Breitling, earrings, a custom black Diamond bracelet and a custom emerald/Diamond ring. Their prices are excellent and the service provided by everyone was awesome. From Alexis to Andrew, Lisa and Amber. The custom pieces exceeded my expectations and all of the work was completed in a very timely manner. In addition to jewelry, they have a wine tasting lounge. The lounge is a Breitling Tasting lounge that has many fun games a is tastefully designed, reflecting the Breitling brand. The wines are delicious! The wine maker, Robert Foley, is the best around! He masters grapes from the Padis Estate and churns out a beautiful blend, Sintilation and a big bold 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Although not estate grown, don't skip the Chardonnay! Jewelry stores can be intimidating, I'm one to commonly be judged by wearing post workout clothing when out shopping... it doesn't stop the employees here from always greeting with a smile and actually asking how I am with engaging in conversation long before assisting me in a purchase. Andrew always has an honest approach and has even saved me money with breaking through the common stereotypes of what I thought I knew about diamonds, he cares more about the product for the client than the product itself. Not a super high end jewelry store (they sell Pandora). I know that's snarky, but any jewelry shop that's in the business Tacori and Pandora caters to a wider clientele than say, Tiffany, Cartier, or Harry Winston. It's a terrific little shop with a wide variety of stuff to suit many budgets. My husband went on to look for a specific Breitling ... the layout of their store is a bit off a maze and confusing, e.g. I walked into a section at the back, which it turns out odd not for customers but for employees only. They should rethink their interior architecture to make it more user friendly. The neon lighting on the wall and the seating is cool, modern, and convenient. Like a good mechanic, good jewelers are hard to find. You want their expertise and help but not the unwanted upsell. The team at Padis Jewelry have made me a customer for life in making my engagement ring shopping experience so easy and hassle-free. They actually talked me DOWN from choosing a more expensive setting as it distracted from the center stone. Also, I had to have the diamond shipped out from the East Coast and they provided a pre-paid shipping label w/ extra insurance to ensure that the stone would arrive safe & sound. Even better, the diamond arrived a day after it was posted. I swear they paid a Padis employee to fly it over themselves! I am now currently planning a visit to shop for my wedding band and engagement watch (it's a thing) and there's no other place I'd consider over the Padis team. read more

As a big watch enthusiast and collector, I'd achieved my dream of getting a Breitling, more specifically, a used A57035 Colt Quartz, and was hoping to get it checked over and serviced if needed. After having scavenged Breitling's website to see where was the closest dealer that I could get my watch inspected, I found Padis Jewelry in St. Helena. I emailed Padis through the website prompt and got a response soon after from Thomas Davis, the store manager. He answered all my questions promptly and told me that he had the same model as his first Breitling as well. Within a couple of emails exchanged back and forth, he invited me to come in so that he could inspect the watch and see if any servicing would be required. After taking the 50-minute trip up to the store, I entered the store and was immediately greeted by Thomas who was extremely friendly. As soon as he saw the watch and checked it over, he told me that my Breitling was in excellent shape and really didn't need to be serviced. This meant a lot to me because this watch was a big expense for me and while I've seen other jewelers try to upsell services to get extra bucks, he didn't and was straight to the point. I was concerned about the water resistance due to it being an older watch, so he offered to have the battery changed at his trusted watchmaker (separate from Breitling) and water resistance checked which would take around two weeks. I obliged and was happy to hear that he was going to be shipping the watch that same day with plenty of insurance. Afterwards, I asked if he'd mind showing me some of the new Breitlings in the display. Thomas enthusiastically started handing me and explaining the various models available. This made my day because Breitling was my favorite brand and I'd never been able to see any in person nor would have expected to have been given permission to handle a good $40,000 worth of fine jewelry in one day. We continued our discussion of watches and horology afterwards for a good half an hour before I had to go to work, but during this time, I could tell that Thomas is really passionate about watches, horology and cares immensely about customer service. One week later, I received a phone call that my watch's battery had been replaced and that it had been checked for water resistance and passed with flying colors. Yay! When I picked it up, had it sized and paid the extremely reasonable $50 charge considering how high-end of a watch it is, I asked him if he'd mind confirming what year my watch was. He immediately called Breitling and while he couldn't get that information identified while I was there, he confirmed later by phone that it was a 1999 model. I'd never heard about Padis Jewelers before getting a Breitling, but now, I can't say enough about this establishment and Thomas Davis. If you are a watch geek and want any work done by someone that is also a big enthusiast, this is your place. If you want to get a watch or jewelry (they also have Tag Heuers and one or two other brands besides Breitling) and receive the best customer service possible, go to Padis. After my experience, I plan on saving up for a second, new, Breitling of my own one day and once I do, I'll immediately go to Padis . read more

Where do I start?... nothing but amazing things to say about Padis. I bought a Verrigio engagement setting with a Forevermark diamond, and the matching Verragio wedding band in August of 2018z Marty and Thomas were awesome. Took us 2 months to decide on the perfect rings but it was worth it. Thomas would bring settings in from SF or from Verrigio itself for us to see. There was never any pressure to purchase and the team is so patient, I ended coming back in Dec to purchase diamond earrings and I'll be back to pick out my wedding band! My fiance got my engagement ring through Padis and we could not be happier with their service! The entire process was seamless and we felt very cared for (we even had a diamond shipped across the states!). The ring was slightly too big and they were quick to get it fixed that afternoon so I could sport my new bling! First I'd like to say we really enjoyed our time when we stopped in. The store was recommended to us because of our love of wine not jewelry. It was told to us don't skip it the wine is delicious and a hidden little secret. Anyways The wine was delicious so much so we placed an order for $600 of wine to be delivered to our San Diego home. A month later no wine. I left a voicemail for the store and never received a call back. I happen to exchange numbers with the bartender who served us and took our order , Rhonda because she was so nice and was interested in an Airbnb stay in our San Diego vacation rental. I have been looking for a new jeweler since I moved to Napa. I thought I'd scope a few new places out with a basic watch adjustment first and to also ask a few questions about other jewelry that needs work, but was told "no we don't do that" with regards to the watch. First time a jewelry shop has told me they only work on watches purchased from their shop. Then walked it back slightly and said there's another guy who might do it, but he's not here and no promises he would do it either. Hmmm. Not a great start, or first impression, and I didn't feel welcome in the store. I felt like I was a bother. I also needed my platinum diamond ring adjusted, but I don't think I will give my business to this jewelry store. We stopped at the tasting room last July bc we have had Padis wine before and loved it. Rhonda helped us with our tasting of Chardonnay and Cabernet that day. She was wonderful and even let us sample some older vintages of both. Needless to say we bought a case! Absolutely the best wine especially the Chardonnay. I went into this jewelry shop on a whim. I've been kicking around the idea of buying a ring and just wanted to see what they had. I dealt with a guy named Andrew. When we first walked in the store the 2 people working were with other customers which was fine. So we booked an appointment to come back and see one of the people working. With all the hell my fiancé and I went through because Padis completely messed up my engagement ring and refused to fix it unless I paid for them to fix it, it wasn't until I finally told them they ruined my engagement ring and the process of picking out my engagement ring and called the vendor that the setting came from did they agree to fix the mess. After we talked we ended on a good note. Now I can't get a call back from them, I've called 3 times. Its only been 8 months of me having my engagement ring before I had multiple loose stones on the side of the setting and I've been trying to call to get it fixed before it falls out. Mind you I'm extremely careful with my ring. Almost $4,000 for a setting that has nothing but loose stones and constantly bends. Already having to switch out the "custom" setting. Still never got a response. Taking it to my local jeweler who was absolutely so sweet about fixing their mess. DO NOT come here unless you want to deal with a mess. Originally we were looking at diamonds and settings from Padis, my fiancé and I decided to buy our diamond elsewhere and still get a setting from Padis but the way we got treated after we decided to just get a setting from Padis was unacceptable and I wish we would've walked out the second Andrew tossed the receipt for us to sign at us. read more

First off, this is an amazing store with soo many options! I visited the store over the weekend to look at bridesmaid gifts and watches. I was lucky enough to work with Alexis who had a lot of product knowledge and answered all of my questions. I literally knew nothing about watches prior to going to the store, in fact I picked out a women's watch at first for my fiancé... Luckily Alexis corrected me and worked with my budget and we found the perfect watch! She is so helpful and patient. She lets us try on as many pieces of jewelry as we see fit to make our purchases. I was in Saint Helena on a day trip when I noticed my watch wasn't working. I came in on a Saturday to look for a someone to change a battery in my watch. I was welcomed in by Gretchen who referred me to Thomas, their local "Watch Guru". Thomas was very nice and knowledgeable. He took my watch in the back to replace the Battery and Gretchen offered me a diet Coke while I waited. It seems like a small gesture but it is the little things that make an experience special. While we were waiting, my Girlfriend found a diamond band that she loved and it was such a good price that we decided to get it!
