When he couldn't fit the large job in his schedule in the next 2-3 weeks, he volunteered to come out and paint our nursery that weekend on his own time so that we could get that room situated before the arrival of our baby. He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home. They were very respectful and friendly, and did a better job of cleaning up at the end of each day than any other contractors we have had in our home. I showed him areas where my previous contractor installed my interior doors previously to today that needed very little sanding from new hinges having to be moved and where shims were placed. He said he would not be able to sand them because it would scratch the hinges. He could of easily covered the hinges . He said, he was going to caulk and paint over them. I could of caulked and painted over them myself if that were the case. He was annoyed and arrogant, instead of reassuring me everything would like nice like he did on the first appointment today he did the opposite. As an owner of a business it is your responsibility to listen and pay attention to a customer's needs on the first appointment , take notes, etc! I explained exactly what I wanted and was very clear on my expectations prior to starting ! He has No understanding of basic customer service skills! If a customer has questions and concerns it is his job as a professional to answer questions with politeness and respectfulness . He answered me very condescending and comes across with the mentality you are annoying him by asking questions. Very RUDE! VERY DISRESPECTFUL! HAS NO RESPECT FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS! I cannot imagine how he treats people let alone customers! He literally had me so upset and had only been in my home for 15 minutes if that! He questioned my contractor who he even said himself did a great job and kept asking me why he had to move the door hinges if the doors fit. I am not a contractor that could answer his questions. I asked him if he wanted me to reach out to my contractor who installed my interior doors and he said yes, So I called my contractor and asked him if he would explain the reason for the hinges being moved and as usual he explained everything he did and why. My contractor did an excellent job btw who's name is BYLIS CONSTRUCTION! We didn't charge him a dime nor did he give us a discount. In the beginning Mr. Lallo was present and worked on the projects. After sometime he was working onsite and left the projects to his workers. Well this is when the nightmare started. Jobs were unsatisfactory, a water valve was left open in my kitchen which flooded my new hardwood kitchen floors and new cabinet. A memorial statue in honor of my late veteran husband was broke and covered up. Finally, the remodeling of a bathroom was horrible and I spoke with Mr. Lallo. He stated (in front of 3 witnesses) he would come the next day (6/3/2023) to redo and correct the bathroom. Well he never returned, no call, didn't answer text or emails. His cost for this job was $11,700, not including supplies. He was paid over $7,000 & the balance would be paid at the end. Unfortunately, he didn't want to take responsibility or pay for the errors his workers caused. He lied, has posted false jobs on his Facebook page and Joshua Lallo LLC took the cowardly approach and disappeared. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUDULENT CONTRACTOR.
