I am a regular customer here and every staff member is very helpful and kind. I also do shop and…read moredeliver orders here. So I was very surprised and upset that the security guard was harassing me when I was trying to finish a phone call I was having in the parking lot. I had about 15 minutes till midnight and planned to go into the store after my very important phone call and that is when she approached my car and was trying to force me to leave and yelled at me that I was loidering. I was parked there specifically after completing a bunch of food deliveries, waiting for my next delivery and possibly a shop and deliver order from that specific store, which happens often. So, I forgot about going into the store, she disrupted my important phone conversation and ruined the ending of it where my friend was praying with me. I drove to the parking lot in the other side of Burger King to finish the phone call and ...SHE FOLLOWED ME TO HARRASS ME MORE! So I was very worked up at that point and I had to end my conversation abruptly, I rolled the window down and put on really loud gospel music because I was feeling very irritated at that point and then I drove away.

Never on time. Never helpful. They repeatedly insist they're out of network even when my insurance…read moreconfirms they're in network. Every visit turns into an argument, a delay, or an overcharge. I've given them chance after chance, and nothing ever improves. Save yourself the frustration and use another pharmacy

Unfortunately, I had a little issue and forgot to pack extra of my medication for my trip here to…read morethe Big Island. I Needed to get more and I needed to get it NOW. It was Friday and I needed to get it for the NEXT day's dose. I called my doctor and they sent the prescription. I called my insurance company and they approved it. The two pharmacies near my airb&b didn't have it in stock. To make a long story short, the Pharmacist(s) at this location spent quite a bit of time and effort calling the doctor's office and the insurance company and getting all the ducks in a row so I could get my medication as necessary. They had to get an override from the insurance company in order to dispense more of my meds before the next authorized refill. It took a little bit of time, but as I was hiking the trek to Akaka Falls, I got the call and it all was approved and arranged. My prescription was going to be ready in 30 Minutes. So often people are quick to put bad reviews up, but you don't always see the ones where they really work hard to make sure the person gets what they need and in a prompt manner. Thank you VERY much to the CVS Team! Oh- and CVS bought Long's - So the sign says Long's - But it's a CVS. and that caused me a little confusion in the beginning. But it's all clear now.

These folks are on it ! The Pharmacist is slammed busy -…read morethere is a consistent string of customers filling their orders here. Their pharmacy is very tight quarters but they seem to work well as a team. Amazing the quantity they handle .... though some drugs are too 'exotic' for such a small location. In addition to the resident populace of Waikoloa (well over 3500), many of which are retired and need a variety of medications, there are a large amount of vacation travelers who also have odd needs. KTA is a small outfit and cannot meet the needs of many , but they do handle substantial. Longs or Foodland in Waimea has what this little pharmacy doesn't though , and they're only 20 minutes away.

Sanitize? gosh no! Back during the serious COVID stuff I noticed that the pharmacy simply did not…read moresanitize. I had my shot there and i had to sit in a grocery aisle with people walking within a foot of me. I noticed no masks or gloves on cashiers and a big advertising policy that said the opposite. ..be safe etc. Now recently i noticed again that the pharmacy has really bad sanitation procedures. For example, they don't clean the key pad or the pen used for most transactions. The associates dont wear masks and are in close proximity with each other, and with a hundred potentially very ill people daily. I commented and the reply was 'we dont have to'. Associates hand product to a customer, customers maybe hand it back with germy hands. i watched as someone wiped their nose then handed money over. So..I called the company and they had someone call me back. Reply? 'well if you dont like it take your business elsewhere.' no kidding. So..be very afraid. Not sanitizing is a company policy they defend. and besides is it a great idea to shop at a grocery store that has sick people walking through where kids and old folks might have risk from their big sneeze?
