She also shared her industry knowledge for ideas, recommendations, and proper etiquette. She kept in contact with all our vendors before the wedding, days leading up to the wedding, and the day of the wedding. Raquel truly took the time to learn my husband and I, to fully understand what was important to US on our wedding day. Her preparation ensured all our vendors worked seamlessly together. Raquel managed to be everywhere at once, always a step ahead, always with a smile. She not only managed my vendors, but she also managed those guests that every bride and groom is worried about but obligated to invite (sorry not sorry). We worked with Raquel on our invitations, mirrored seating chart and mirrored welcome sign. Overall Platinum Affairs executed on all assigned tasks and everything came out nicely. However, during the process, we felt like we needed to follow up and stay on top of them. Raquel seemed overwhelmed and maybe a bit burnt out. The Meetings We met with Raquel a few times over the process to finalize details and make payments. She was not pushy and honored our requests. We wanted simple invites, and new the style of mirrors we wanted. Over the course of 6-8 months, each visit she forgot who we were and we had to reintroduce ourselves. It took away from the experience. The Service Our Invites were ordered about 8 months from our wedding date and arrived about 6 months from our wedding date. I was a bit annoyed because our original choice was out of print and we were told this one was in stock and affordable. After making our order and reviewing our proofs, Raquel and her team called to let us know we had to decide immediately on our proofs because the vendor was running low on the card stock and may not be able to print our order. Our mirror and seating chart were ordered at the same time. We had to provide the text, names and fonts about 10 days prior to the event. We actually followed up with them because no one contacted us. Once we were in touch, everything was finalized. One nit to pick, they do not alphabetize the seating charts and you do need to review your proofs. I noticed a few formatting errors when reviewing my own. Card box was just as we asked. No complaints there. Verdict Platinum Affairs was okay. Service was good, but not great. Prices were reasonable.

The staff was rude to our guests, which immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. There was flooding in both bathrooms during the event, and the bartender was not only rude but also failed to properly serve the guests. In fact, my family and friends ended up doing much of the work themselves. We had pre-made lemon drops, and family members and guests helped serve them and add the dry ice because the bartender was often unavailable. To make matters worse, the bar was not even set up on time. The security guard was also ineffective. He was rarely at the door, and I actually had to go looking for him when it was time for my daughter's grand entrance so the smoke effect could be coordinated. It left me wondering what his role was supposed to be. The venue owner seemed more interested in collecting money than providing quality customer service. We understand that this is a business, but the fees were excessive, and there seemed to be an extra charge for everything. There were so many rules and restrictions that it made the planning process unnecessarily stressful. The biggest issue was the security deposit. After the event was over, a disagreement occurred across the street from the venue--not on the venue's property. Nothing happened inside the venue, and the event had already ended. One of the staff members called the police, but the officers never even got out of their vehicles because there was no serious incident taking place. Despite that, the owner had security record the disagreement and later used it as a reason to keep the deposit. What makes this even more frustrating is that she did not communicate this decision right away. She spoke with my daughter, who hosted the event, but waited nearly two weeks before informing her that the deposit would not be returned. If you are considering booking this venue, make sure you read the contract carefully and pay close attention to the fine print. The space is nice, but in our experience, the customer service, staff professionalism, and management were very disappointing. Unfortunately, the venue owner's actions came across as more focused on money than customer satisfaction.

The owner operates with unethical business practices that I witnessed firsthand, and it has been a truly frustrating experience. On multiple occasions, vendors who provided services were ignored for months after submitting invoices. Despite repeated follow-ups, the owner would often promise payment by the end of the day, only to fail to deliver, leaving vendors in difficult situations. The company's service is subpar at best. Clients only continue to work with them because of artificially low prices that the owner uses to undercut competitors, even though the quality of work reflects those low prices. The owner constantly obsesses over high-quality clients but will never reach that standard, often making mistakes that have to be corrected and then blaming employees for the errors. As highlighted in previous reviews, the owner also refuses to pay employees as promised. Despite assurances of payment, he would vanish and leave employees without compensation. This unprofessional behavior, combined with the lack of an HR department, makes for a toxic environment.Also makes inappropriate comments during company meetings that make you uncomfortable so you have do an awkward laugh because there's no Hr department to go to. Also tends to flirt with female clients calling them his work wives etc, making cringey comments like "I've been away from my wife so long that anything starts to look good." He may have been in business for a while but so has plenty of con-men. He also insults his employees when he throws a temper tantrum by threatening to "send them back to $9hr jobs" He takes advantage and exploits their lack of job experience and education. Assuming that this is as good as it gets. This business, formerly known as Aroma Express in Canada, has a troubling history, and unfortunately, these patterns of unethical behavior continue. The owner's combative and aggressive responses to feedback only further demonstrate the lack of accountability. I wouldn't be surprised if he responded here with the same tone I would strongly advise anyone considering working here or engaging with this business to be cautious. You can see attached screenshots of how he conducts himself I will add the one where he speaks of sending them back to 9hr jobs. I have more but will save for my attorney. You'll also see where he agrees to pay and still has not til this day.
