Horrible since the new ownership took over. Some of the front desk staff are nice and polite but the PA's and other staff that see you seem to not like their job much, poor morale from what I saw and take it out on the patients. They were "okay" and sufficient to get the job done before this change over but I decided to opt out of this practice, imo, there are other better options, I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

my wife had a very serious spinal neck fusion which is one of the most painful surgeries the neurosurgeon performs with a recovery of about 9 months it's been a nightmare and debilitating she was given one prescription and when it ran out she asked for a refill and was told the doc would respond before the end of the day not only did he not call back staff was very very rude and matter-of-fact when we called back and asked why we hadn't been helped just unfeeling, and now it is after 5 o'clock, and we still haven't received a call and my wife is going to have to spend all night with nothing for her serious pain. Its sad to have to sit in lobby and listen to the snickering, giggling and language of most the staff talking about another patient waiting in the lobby. It's pathetic and foul that the females of this clinic find bullying a patient loud enough that it can be heard. I felt bad for the patient they were poking fun at because it was clear that she overheard it, as if bullying wasn't already bad enough on its own. I hope for her sake and even theirs that her confidence is able to withstand their behavior that I'm certain it's not the first time they've acted like highschool snobs, especially when the name represented on the door engages in this behavior. Don't go here if you want to be dismissed about your pain because of your AGE. So that must be why I can't get any relief because I'm young? I've never had a drug issue in my life. I came to this clinic seeking help for a painful, extremely complex condition--chronic osteomyelitis--and left feeling completely dismissed. PA Hillary- Right at the start of the appointment, I was told that they do not prescribe pain medication to people my age, before any real discussions of my medical history or symptoms even happened. This was not an individual medical decision--it was a blanket judgment made without any attempt to understand my condition, pain level, or needs. You didn't seem to know ANYTHING about my condition. No knowledge whatsoever. You would've thought that you would have researched my condition BEFORE my appointment. This kind of treatment is discriminatory and harmful. People of all ages can experience severe chronic pain, and to be denied help because of my age is unacceptable. I expected to be treated as a person, not as a stereotype. NO ONE should have to fight to be believed when they are suffering. I left that appointment feeling worse than when I walked in--not because of my condition, but because of how I was treated. If you're a younger adult dealing with real pain, I would not recommend this place. Look for providers who take your pain seriously and treat you like a human being. This healthcare system is severely flawed and broken for people who NEED the pain relief. read more

I started going to Boise Pain Care after a terrible experience at Axis Spine Center in Post Falls. 1. The office staff are polite and efficient. Appointments are easy to make and there is not a long waiting period to be seen. 2. Both Jillian and Dr. Vaughan are really nice and patient 3. The office has kept me informed every step of the way while we are completing the required steps before my surgical procedure will be approved. I keep them in the loop of anything I hear from the insurance since I work for my insurance. 4. When in the office I have not heard any inappropriate banter or commentary from the staff, and patients all seem to be in a positive mood while in the office. I absolutely recommend this office. 10/10 straight across the board. read more

I got kicked out for questioning their mask policy and medical questionnaire. They were not reasonable or helpful even after I explained why I wouldn't participate. Btw CDC says NO MASKS REQUIRED! And I wanted to discuss my meds with the doctor directly. I'm disabled by law and don't want front desk staff to know my personal medical history! So guess my rights mean nothing? read more

The doctors at Pain Care Boise are great. No issues whatsoever. The staff needs some training in customer service and responsiveness. For two weeks I waited for a response regarding a procedure. I had my insurance call them to make things easier. I called several times to check on the status only to be told by clueless staff that they didn't know and would call me back which never happened. My last call was to Amy. She had no idea about the status of anything and acted snippy about my frustration and basically hung up on me. This was the last straw. I canceled 2 carpel tunnel releases and an injection. I recon this was about 20k worth of business Boise Pain Care lost due to staff incompetent and bad attitude. read more

Complete waste of time and money. I should have listened to the other reviews. The front desk is rude and then when you see the doctors they don't actually read your medical history that you provided them and continually do procedures anyways. Prices seem to vary as well, had a large charge that the front desk couldn't explain why and how all my other procedures were different. Doctors there are quick to refer you to other hospitals and after that they provide no help what so ever. This is the first facility in my life that charges to provide your medical records, seems like a theme, facility is more concerned with taking your money than actually providing descent services. Please make sure you look into all your options, there are much better clinics in the valley. read more

Staff on the phones were rude. Laughing over me talking. Laughing in the background. Got put on hold immediately and when someone came on they didn't care for any of the patient information and had an attitude. Then got put back on hold and got someone else. No one said who they were. I tried explaining to the lady all the problems going on from previous and was told "none of that mattered now". How can you better yourselves or the clinic if you can't listen to someone explain what was wrong. No customer service what so ever. read more

Dr Binegar and Fred and his staff are more trained and professional than all the rest! I went from 5 years constant neck pain due to osteoarthritis and prior whiplash having to ice my neck 6 hrs day/ eve. when possible and wearing neck pillow. PMRP doc and one at Spine Institute for all those years undergoing multiple treatment but never 'new' testing for understanding beyond first x-ray taken by primary care doctor. Dr Binegar and Fred did more thorough care and tests and then treated me LIKE THEY WANTED TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM. The worst! I have been in the medical field for quite some time and have only worked for the best so maybe this is why I am giving pain care of Boise such a low rating . The dr is unprofessional, rude and down right un-caring . This establishment herds you through like cattle. I called many times trying to get in and get relief of my chronic pain . They do not call to follow up, I would have expected them to check in with me after a MRI since the shots did not work . I called to ask about the protocol of the outcome and was told by the front desk that I would need to make a appointment to discuss the results, however since I had a balance owed they could not schedule me. So I am back to looking for relief from a professional establishment. I just want relief from arthritis to a torn labrum!! I have seen the front desk treat elderly patients very poorly. I would happily recommend this clinic to anyone who has a need for their services. Both the doctor and pa are very friendly and easy to talk to. They work with your schedule if you have a hard time getting in.

Just wanted to say this place is the best. They do what they can to limit your pain so you can do the things you use to do. It helps to have such great employees when getting procedures done so you know your in good hands! read more
