This place is gross it is all filthy and overgrown landscaping, trash everywhere looks abandoned from the road. Today I went in to get refills on my meds and the doctor said that they would be prescribed. At this point I am waiting on insurance to approve procedures. I have been a patient in excess of three B years. I have had several one on one meetings w. ownership, Dr. Cohen, and expressed the lack of competence of staff members. He is in the midst of acquiring more facilities (~5) that has led to abysmal patient service and timeliness. Trying to follow the bouncing ball at these facilities I is absolutely impossible. Zero stars! I had to leave one star just so I could submit the review. This place is the worst place ever! I was referred here by my PCP for pain management. I've been a patient for over 6 months. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you call to schedule an appointment you get NO ANSWER or RETURN phone call. I have to drive to the office to schedule or handle any business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The last two months I've been scheduled to see Dr. Kristyn Zalar. Last month I waited 1 hour & 10 minutes before I was seen. Today I've waited 1 hour & 30 minutes so far & I have yet to be seen. The patient next door was called to the back 20 minutes before I was called to the back & she has yet to be seen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When asking the front office staff what's going on they simply respond "she's a little behind & will see you soon".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's been so many red flags with this office from the very beginning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have multiple patients who are elderly & none English speaking who are expected to complete check-ins via cell phone with no interpreter or help with technology that they are not familiar with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If they don't bring their interpreter with them or someone to help them navigate through this technology, their appointments are canceled and rescheduled.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is when they are told they need to bring someone to the appointment to assist them. If i could give 0 stars I would. Rob Paul is awesome but getting in to see him is a nightmare. Staff are very young and seem burnt out. I feel 0 comfort from admin staff like they really don't give a f__k about anything or anyone. If you have a choice avoid this place. read more

I've been coming here for the last 2 years due to a back injury. Ive been going to the new location in el cajon and see Dr. Tori. She is the best. She is patient, thorough and really cares about treatment plans for her patients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only complaint is its is didifficult to get through to them on the phone, and to get a return phone call.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Be patient, it's worth it. I was afraid to go to a pain clinic because I have heard so many bad things and read bad reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to Pain Relief Solutions and saw Dr Casey Fisher. He was so kind and knew exactly what my pain was[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I have an appointment next month to get a nerve block and I am so excited to try something else. Scripps ER La Jolla treats me like a drug addict. I have a terminal cancer that is in radiological remission right now but I'm still in pain. I've been going to this office for 3 months now and they are on top of the effects of chronic pain and address all the issues that come along with it. Went here for pain meds until full diagnosis is found on elbow injury since the orthopedic office won't give me anything unless I'm having surgery. I have been in pain for 8 weeks now and am very limited on what I can take. First of all my appt was at 9 and I didn't see a dr until after 10! Then I was told I would not be given what I asked for. I was offered other things but I can't take those for various reasons as I explained and he told me well then I can't help you. Took my mom for an appt & was seen by PA Robert Paul. He was Extremely unprofessional!!! Yelling at me in the office because I was trying to inquire & request more pain meds for my mom. Saying "Thats a Red Flag!!!" Several times & then arrogantly said "Is your name on the prescription bottle?! NO MINE IS!!" When I was explaining my reasons & my moms situation, but stopped to dry my tears...as I was in crying at this point...then tried to resume...he said "I am talking!!!" She is in alot of pain, so I tolerated his Animal Behavior due to my moms needs. But no more...I will not be taking her back. He was abusing his power, in a very threatening & bully-ish manner. They do a nice job with her pain management, she is pleased with the care she receives, and the staff have all been really friendly and accommodating. read more

Worst pain clinic ever. You never get to see the MD, forced to see a PA. That PA (Rob), is more worried about the CDC guidelines for pain meds than the patient. Forget any help from the front office lady. She is more concerned with keeping her nose in her phone than helping the patients. And she is rude. If you need pain help, don't go here! I actually love the front office and the assistants, but Dr. Rob is one of the worst drs I've ever seen, he's different every single visit. contradicts himself constantly, and he had the nerve to tell me (at a pain management office may I remind you) that I would actually benefit from never having a diagnosis to pin point my health issues. he literally said "you don't need a diagnosis" and also told me he was taking too much time with me, he said "I already spent too much time in here" after LITERALLY less than five minutes of communicating. when I waited 30 mins in the waiting room to be seen. i had explained I'm doing x,y,z to take care my mental health as well as physical. he acted like I said I'm NOT doing these things and had the audacity to say "I'm doing my part, now you do your part" what kind of hell is this place? I left the office balling, crumbling in my tears of feeling absolutely invalidated. he has his own ideas and agenda, doesn't matter what you tell him. when I thought he was there to help, but turns out he has his mind made up before even speaking to you. literally requested to never see him again, and will only give this facility so many more tries before having to move on to somewhere better. he just thinks we're all addicts going to this place. and that hurts. read more
