We merely went to someone's private house, cooked in her kitchen with her, and ate the meal. I was disappointed that it wasn't in a professional kitchen with other students. We were the only students tonight which was kind of nice, but also not so, because after we ate, we felt rushed to leave the house. The food we made was good though for the most part. The appetizer was okay, but not something I would make on my own as it consisted of baking a whole wheel of camembert cheese and topping it with apples sauteed in butter and sugar. It was good though, but not something we would make. Also, the dessert was not something we would make on our own either. We peeled two pears and soaked them in a whole bottle of red wine. My husband and I both felt that it was a waste of a bottle of wine as when you finish cooking it, you just throw away the rest of the wine. The main meal was chicken sauteed in butter and olive oil first then baked in a caste iron skillet. The chicken could have been cooked longer as it wasn't well cooked and kind of raw in my opinion. My husband who is a very picky eater actually liked it and said it was good, but I didn't think it was cooked well enough for my tastes. The leek sauce was nice and the ratatouille was okay, but I also felt the eggplant could have been cooked longer. Again, this was a very expensive experience for what it was. I think I paid about $270 for the both of us together, almost $300. I feel we could have just sat down at a really nice restaurant and ordered top of the notch steak and have had money left over. In any case, we've been wanting to take a cooking class together for a while, so we have that checked off our list. I just would not do this again with this company, with that chef, or recommend anyone else to waste their money doing it either.

She made everything easy to follow and kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed. There were lots of laughs, and she truly made the whole experience enjoyable for everyone. She's not only a wonderful instructor but also just a really nice person who clearly loves what she does. I would absolutely love to take another class with her again. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out!

Paint Me a Party hosted an in office corporate event for a group of about 15 of us and we all had a…read moregood time and were able to walk away with a nice painting. All the paint brushes, paint, canvas and easel were all set up for us at individual stations in our office. Our instructor was great and guided us through step by step on the painting. For me being a fairly unartistic person, I was impressed with the final output I ended up with. Fun and relaxing event overall!

My wife turned 44 today, and due to her compromised immune system, pandemic has been a stay at home and stay safe kind of year. Now that we're all vax'ed, we looked for things that we could do with the whole family and I went on Groupon, hunting for ideas. After she shot me down on the majority of them, I asked her about having someone come to the house and teach a class on painting on canvasses. She giggled with delight and loved the idea. Now, color me a skeptic because I thought this wouldn't be up her alley or that of my adult kids. But as we announced the idea, one by one, they all were overjoyed at the idea, and so I booked it. I got ahold of Roni right away and she could not have been more pleasant. She was responsive and professional, and had the warmest personality. We went back and forth on some ideas to paint, but ultimately it was my wife's decision as it was her event. She sent an image to Roni which Roni painted the same day to get our approval. It was fantastic. Then the Mrs. (as she's oft to do) changed her mind and wanted a different paint image. Roni was super accommodating and got right back to us painting a completely new one for us. On the day before the event she communicated the confirmation of time and what was taking place. And the day of she arrived promptly, and right on time. I met her at the car to see if she needed any assistance with bringing in materials, and like the pro she is, handled it all. She was setup in about 20-30 minutes and the lesson was under way. She was so amazingly patient and optimistic. Her energy was contagious, and we laughed for a good solid 2 hours of pure joy. She was incredibly encouraging and patient with everyone, and did an unbelievably fantastic job of coaching through the entirety of the process. It was an amazing way to spend a day. When all was done she came through and cleaned everything up and took a bunch of pictures for us as well. I went in a skeptic, and have come out a beaming referral. We were so amazingly delighted by Roni and are already talking about our next event with her.
