I had such an amazing and wonderful birthday thanks to PAINT THE TOWN! First off, I really appreciate the easy and responsive communication from the team. Everything is organized and user friendly. Alexis was wonderful and attentive, allowing me to call and text her with any questions/concerns. In regards to the painting experience- It was fantastic. JAY was our instructor and he was fun and helpful. He was informative and helped us throughout the whole process. Price wise- I think what they offer is beyond what they charge. They bring all the supplies, set it up, and help with clean up. I would 10/10 recommend to friends/family. read more

On June 6th, I booked an event for 20 ppl to be held for my apartment community on the afternoon of June 19th. The coordinator I spoke with was very polite and helpful with the process. I paid for the event in full at the time of the booking and announced the event to my residents; they were required to RSVP as the guest count was confirmed with the company. Fast forward to June 19th, (Juneteenth, observed by many) my company gave our portfolio the day off. I was committed to the event that I booked and paid for before our company announced the office closure, therefore, I came into the office to host the highly anticipated function. One of my employees also came into the office to help with the setup while I worked on other tasks that day. Around 2:30pm, 3 hours before the instructor was to set up, I sent her a message introducing myself and letting her know to contact me when she arrives. The instructor responded, ultimately saying that she was sick and was not going to make it; she also stated that she tried calling Paint the Town's office, but didn't get in contact with anyone. I asked the instructor why she did not contact me in the morning, and she stated that she had the wrong number, however, I verified with her that the number she had was correct. I did not receive any missed calls or voicemail from her at all. Once I challenged the instructor on her assertion of attempting to call me, she stopped responding. I asked her multiple times if she had the paint supplies, but the instructor never replied to my messages. I was hoping that the instructor could at least send the supplies so that my residents would be able to still enjoy my Paint & Sip event regardless of the instructor being absent. Simultaneously while trying to make progress with the instructor, I attempted to call text, email, and DM Paint the Town's team to figure out a solution as the event started at 6pm; their office was closed, so I was at a loss. Disappointingly, I finally had to announce that the event was cancelled 2 hours before the start time. The event space was set up, food and wine were staged, but it all went to waste. I was forced to give most of the food and wine away as I couldn't salvage the perishables. On June 20th, I finally heard back from the office apologizing for the lack of response and the mishap. The coordinator asked me if I wanted a refund or to rebook. After consideration of the offer, I simply outlined a response asking for a refund for my event as well as the wasted food and white wine that I couldn't save; this included $829.50 for the event and $312.74 for the food that was lost. Long story short, the manager declined to pay the requested amount. I later spoke with a member of the operations team who apologized again and offered me $50 off my next event with the company along with the cost of the event. I simply declined the offer, reiterated the failures of both the company and the instructor, and my lack of interest in using Paint the Town again. People get sick, I completely understand. Regardless, I should have been notified first thing in the morning so that I would have had time plan accordingly. Worse case, I could have cancelled the event before setting up the food, a rooftop event area and enjoyed my day off. If the company desired to observe the 19th, the instructor should have had a point of contact in the event of an emergency. Secondly, if the entire team was to have the 19th off, my event should not have been booked to avoid this very issue. I spent my day off setting up an event and breaking it down in a matter of hours. Overall, I will not use this company again. I expected this company to make it right as my request for reimbursement was reasonable and was due to their failure to adhere to the contract. I even waited before posting this review as I hoped we'd settle this matter swiftly. I'm sure I'll get refunded for what I paid to the company, but I'm at a financial loss hiring Paint the Town and I will not make the same mistake twice. read more

I organized two separate parties, one party of 30+ participants and the second party 60+ participants, and both parties were on the same day. We were able to choose the ornament design for each of our parties; what a great time for a fun team building experience and a way to step away from the daily workload. We ran a corporate painting event in our office in Santa Monica. The PtT team is super professional company with excellent people throughout the whole process. Sign up with simple and streamlined, everything was web based and they sent all the right communication at the right time to roll through the process. Our instructor was excellent, a professional artist with a great vibe and sense of humor. We loved being with him for the two hours and when we were done we had all produced some amazing art.
