Went to my fourth Paint your Pet class yesterday and I had a great time. The instructor, Sidney, and the assistant, Dani, are super talented, nice, and helpful. They play really fun music too. Everyone leaves with an awesome painting of their pet. I have all my pets up on the mantle now and I love it!

This place is awesome and great for a girls night out!!!! Brittney was an awesome instructor. She had the energy and the vibes going. It was my sisters Birthday and she made it extra special and fun. We also made the candles which was fun as well! We will be returning and requesting her again!!!

I went to a paint class last night hosted by Sydney and it was suuuuuch a good time! I loved how my painting turned out (mostly) and it was a fun experience. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher/host.

Wine and paint date night!

Great time! Loved the vibes and the playlist that night was killer! I had a blast on a Monday getting my wine on and having good company! Best way to double date! Again, did I mention the playlist was amazing?!

I had a blast!! we typically get Amanda( whom we missed) but we got Sydney who was just as awesome!! loads of fun!! great for date night, or just an evening with friends!!

This was my first experience hanging out to paint and sip. I had the BEST time. I am not the most artistic person, but of course that does not matter much...at all really. Mia, the owner, and the artist guide, Jake were total gems. The business is located in the Marsh Creek Shopping plaza. It is hidden, but once you find it you will never miss it again. I highly recommend this experience for a girls night out, a date night, or a teachers' retreat. BYOB and chill with some paints and canvas!

A FABULOUS NIGHT! I had so much fun yesterday at Painting with a Twist. My friend and I wanted to meet up for a chill girls night so I searched events online and found this ad on Facebook. This particular night was "Galentines" themed. As are most sip and paint studios guests are encouraged to BYOB, however this night we were treated with complimentary champagne, mini cheesecake bites and chocolate strawberries. How cute! :) Mia is the owner of the studio and she is so incredible sweet! She was very welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. You can just tell how she's a genuinely kind person and wants to make sure everybody enjoys their experience at her studio. Our art class was led by an artist named Rosa. She was too funny with a bubbly personality. She kept the atmosphere so fun and carefree! It was very easy to follow her steps to create our paintings and she often walked around to check our progress and gave helpful pointers. Mia also incorporated a cute little game while we were waiting for a portion of our paintings to dry. It was similar to pin the tail on the donkey. We took turns spinning in circles a few times, put a blindfold on and had to walk towards a painting and place a wine glass cut out as close we could to where it should be placed on the painting. The paintings took about 2 hours to complete which seemed like the perfect amount of time for this experience. We walked away with pretty pictures of heart shaped flowers in mason jars! I really enjoyed my time here. I would totally recommend checking this studio out!!

I surprised my boyfriend with the paint your pet class. We absolutely love our dogs and I had been wanting to get pet pop art but it's so expensive. So when I saw this class I jumped at it for a day date with my boo. We had such an amazing time! Cat (who taught the class) was so personable and funny. The other artists that helped in the floor were also so great. The staff were so patient and helpful. SUCH A FUN TIME!!

I have been back twice now for the painting your pet class with Connor. Me and my friends all came and had so much fun. I'm getting better with each class. Connor is a wonderful instructor. I always tip him before I leave, everyone should! He goes above and beyond to make the class so fun. I am going to keep coming each month for the paint you pet class and maybe others too. It's just so fun! Vlad my PitBull, who unfortunately died a few weeks ago is my current painting. I think it turned out pretty good. I'm proud of it. I am going to have to redo Firefly's it did not turn out great but it was my first time. I'm getting better, I will do her justice next time.

A just blessed woman

The pace was perfect and I never felt as though we were moving too fast. There were only 4 people in my Sunday afternoon class which allowed plenty of opportunities for him to walk around and help us individually. We also had opportunities to take little snack/bathroom breaks. The building is shared with the library and since that's closed on Sundays, there was usually ample parking. Sometimes there would be a children's performance in the theater near our studio but it was never really disruptive. Although sometimes, there would be less parking spots near the studio entrance on those days. I genuinely enjoyed taking this class at Spruill! I hope to take more classes here in the future and I even told my friends about it. The classes are reasonably priced for the quality of instruction that they offer, and there may be a few need-based scholarships available on their website. I believe there is a donation-based supply closet available to students who are currently enrolled in art classes, but the closet itself is only open during the week. Overall, I think Spruill is a great place hone any craft and I would love to take more classes in the future.

Hi, I just want to share about my experience on Saturday July 18. When we walked in, there was a…read morequeue of people, but several open tables. I walked up to the young person at the desk and said hi. We did not have a reservation, but we would like to know where we can sit and she stared at me and said that she needed to check out the other customers and then she would let me know. We stood around for about 15 minutes and my niece was anxious to sit down, so did sit at a table. My husband and I went back up to the front while my niece and sister and her husband were walking around. At that time we walked back up to the front and two people are completely ignoring us while we're standing there. There's been several people walking in behind us and sitting at tables. As we are standing there, one of the people looked over at my niece and points and says what are they doing there? They then proceed to go over to a child and tell them that they cannot sit there. That's when I interrupted and said we've been waiting to see where we can sit we are happy to go anywhere and this person completely ignored us and the other girl at the front said she wasn't sure. We're standing there. People are behind us. People are walking up to the queue and the person that approached my niece ignored all of them until a lady spoke up and said she was here to pick up and then they said oh I thought you were with that party. The customer service was awful. We actually came here to help brighten up the spirits of my sister who had had an awful day. It took an hour just to get her to come out of the house and I did not make a reservation because I was not sure that we would be able to get her motivated to come. We were hoping that this would be a stress-free experience as the sign on the door says and something that would really bring her some joy instead it made her so upset and Feeling unwelcome. I was finally able to ask about some boxes that were sitting on a table to see is there anyway we could move to this two top while the rest of the party stand so that my niece and my sister could paint something small. The girl looked clueless, but said OK sure and went and moved the boxes off the table. I just felt like it would be appropriate to share this with the owner or the leadership team as there were several other patrons that were really ignored and this was not a great experience. Even if we didn't have a reservation acknowledging when we came in and providing us direction, would've been helpful instead of having us stand around while other people sat down and then have a child being approached and told to move.

In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up.
