This place is a hidden gem. My boss and I stumbled on The Splatter Studio by accident. After touring the facility we knew it would be a great place to have our leadership team holiday event. We scheduled our holiday event for a future date. The day of the event, Ella made everything so easy. Our stations were set up in advance and she was thorough on techniques and advice for those who felt they were not creative. We all had a great time; even those who are usually more rigid in the office. Everyone was able to creatively exist without having a plan of action or having to explain what they were doing. You can bring food if you would like to use their party room. We had the full studio to ourselves which also help with us balancing between eating food and painting. The Splatter Studio is good for groups who would like to just enjoy each other's creative genius.

    Supervision policy

One of the worst experiences with your younger children - do not bring them for the Family Funday experience. I called ahead of booking because tickets are non-refundable. I explained in detail who would be in our party (4 parents, two 5 year olds, and two 18 month olds) to celebrate my 5 year olds birthday. I was told over the phone by an associate that was fine, they said I only needed to buy tickets for the individuals who were painting which I did. We got to the studio with the exact party described, they checked us in, we got our station and had a fine time. While there, 40 minutes into our session, we were approached by one of the associates and asked to take out children outside because they thought they were crying. They said they had other customers so they can't have children being loud. They were not crying - they two five year olds were laughing with each other. The supervisor then approached us and said we signed off on all people being over 6 years old (which we did not). I told her I called to confirm before booking and her front desk staff checked us in and allowed for us to participate.. She responded "no one in her staff would say that." At this point, I asked her to be mindful of my son in ear shot as it was his birthday we were celebrating so I wasn't trying to ruin it for him. We stated we'd leave immediately to which the manager responded "we didn't have to leave but we just can't have our kids cry." At this point, the entire experience was ruined for the entire party. Upon checking out, I asked to speak to the manager again as I checked the ticket confirmation and it stated that each child under 5 had to be accompanied by an adult at a 1:1 ratio (which we were) - screenshot attached for all to view. I showed her as well and she essentially responded with "yeah, sorry." At this point my son had cried because we told him we had to leave early. I was not happy that I was told I could bring my 18 month old, we were asked to leave because they heard a child cry, and my son's birthday experience was cut short and ended in him being upset. I asked for a partial refund because the experience was cut short and we were told we had to leave if our kids were too loud after being told we were ok to bring them and their staff proceeded to check us in. The manager just said "looks like he had a fun time, you're welcome to leave a bad Google review" and pointed us to the door to leave. If you are considering the Family Funday experience at all, make sure your young kids do not have any outbursts of excitement or bring children below the age of 12. Horrible experience - period. Absolutely appalled at how we were treated during the experience and dismissed when we raised our concerns and showed them what their tickets stated. Edit in response to the business response: While I appreciate you taking the time to respond here, my issue is not that there are age minimum. My issue here is I did my due diligence in reaching out to the studio prior to booking given the website and ticket options were unclear. I did so because I saw it was a non-refundable ticket. I very clearly stated who would be coming with me and was never told that under 2 would not be permitted or that children needed to keep all noise to a minimum. Had I known that, I obviously would not have booked a non-refundable ticket. I would've looked to another art studio to have celebrated my child's birthday. As we told the supervisor during the interaction - we are decent and reasonable people - if they are coming to tell us that my party is causing any type of disruption/distraction for other patrons, of course we will leave the studio as to not ruin other customers time and money. The request to a partial refund during the interaction was because we were asked to take the children outside ahead of our session ending because they can't have them being too loud. Additionally, the lack of accountability by any of the team members who told us we were ok to book the tickets knowing all of the ages of the people who were coming, those that checked all of us in without any issue, and the supervisor saying the studio isn't taking responsibility even after showing her what is stated in the ticket confirmations was absurd. At this point, I'm not expecting accountability from the studio, but I STRONGLY recommend adding language to your website if the age minimum requirements (not a "suggested" age), calling out that those under 2 years old are not permitted in the studio, and properly training your staff to relay correct information when customers call in before booking so other parents do not waste their money. Additionally, I'd recommend a proper customer service training for the supervisor of this location as well as the associate that approached us originally. The way we were spoken to was unacceptable given the role that multiple staff members played in this service failure.

What a fantasticly fun event! Splatter studios is a blast. Let you impressionist abstract flag fly and pick up some squirt bottles of paint!! A blank canvas... some splatter brushes and a cart of many colors. We got the the full suits and not just the ponchos for the bigger ones, they don't have them for smaller people like my 9 year old. Sure wish they did!! The poncho gets paint all over it and then with all the moving it rubs off on their legs... it cleans up ok but it is a glorious mess! When they tell you to wear clothes you don't care about they are not kidding! Take if your rings, glasses, cover your hair and get ready! It is SPLATTER time! I really recommend the full suits... they do give shoe covers as well. We had a complete blast of a time!! There just is no wrong way to do this. Get in there and splatter, squirt, spray and drip your way to artistic fun. The instructors/helpers are super nice... ours was the best of them all! They show you how then give you all the tools and let you get at it. Paint does fly and depending on how aggressive you are you are going to get paint on you... but it is all in great fun! All of us really had an unforgettable time! It isn't cheap... even is a bit pricy, but you have got to try this! What a therapeutic event that in the end gives you a piece of your own art to put on the wall and remover all the fun. We will do this again!

The Splatter Studio hosted me and my husband as part of a press trip, and I came in with expectations of rules and paint by numbers. BUT that was NOT the Splatter Studio! It's so freeing. You don't need to be artistic to make fun artwork and you can let go of fears of doing it "wrong." The staff walked us through all the tools and then let us run wild. They can even mix custom colors for you, so your painting is truly unique. Take an hour. Paint with your friends and then go grab some dinner. You won't regret it.

Celebrating a birthday has never been more fun! We had a ball here today! Staff was friendly and explained the techniques to make a beautiful memory on a canvas. I'd recommend to anyone who's looking for something different for date day and celebrating.

This was so fun! I went with a big group and paid through the group, so I'm not sure how much it actually cost. We got to use so many different methods to create our art. And there were so many colors! We really had the freedom to pretty much do whatever we wanted. I loved how my painting came out, but it really wasn't even about that! It was more about the experience. The best part is we didn't even have to clean up! They send you home with your canvas that day in a box so the paint doesn't get everywhere. I will say it gets hot under the poncho the give you to protect your clothing, so dress accordingly. Highly recommend!

So much fun. This was my first time and I had no idea what to expect. The employees were very helpful and explained what we would do and tips on best practices. Throwing paint was so therapeutic and very fun. The employees were very encouraging. Location is great and ambiance is so dope!

The place is kind of pricey, but it is a fun experience and good for group settings. The ambience of the paint studio is open and colorful and vibrant. The service was accommodating, and they were present.

We had a great time. The service was great as well. We had a lot of fun creating our art. The smaller canvas was painted pretty quickly. Next time we'd upgrade to a bigger canvas. The music was great and our group had the best time. Great place for a teen bday party or a dare night.

We had a great time together via this fun activity ! Don't feel creative- think again and go explore your artistic side. Everyone gets to take home a work of art and also a group piece to share ! I'd highly recommend Splatter Studio as the people are friendly and kind!! Total time ~2hours.

I would like to give this 5 stars, but the entrance was so hard to find! We don't live in the area, so we'd never been to that shopping center before. We followed the gps directions to the parking lot and didn't see it at all (turns out there are two parking lots). We tried calling the studio, but no one answered at first. Finally someone answered and helped by giving us landmarks (neighboring businesses). It took 15 minutes total to find the place! After getting suited up and receiving the tutorial, we had barely 40 minutes left to paint. I was hoping they would give us a grace period at the end considering the circumstance (especially since I already paid over $100 to book the session), but we were asked to wrap up our paintings promptly at the hour. All in all, we had a great time and made great memories on my partner's bday.

Great location. Easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the colors of paint to choose from. They had lots of interesting techniques that they showed us how to use. We had the studio rented out for a couple hours where we did our painting and then catered in our snacks and drinks. Overall very fun night and a great stress relief.

It was fun. I had a good time. I would recommend bringing a cooler with some drinks to have while doing it.
