For those who aren't familiar with Found Vintage Market, its flagship location is located in Benson, across the street from one of my favorite coffee shops, Hardy Coffee Co. (I smell another review coming.. pun TOTALLY intended!) There is a new location that recently opened in Elkhorn, but I haven't been able to make it there yet. The Benson location, though? Adorable! Eclectic! Vintage! Cozy! And every other adjective I can think of. The store has a little bit of everything for everyone. From furniture to decor to kitchenware to candles to purses and other accessories, it really is a great place to visit when you want gifts as unique as the people you're buying them for. The staff are all super helpful and friendly, and the building itself is full of charm. I can not recommend Found Vintage Market enough!

You won't find cheap craft crap; you'll find cool stuff from throughout the last, oh, 120 years or so. Any of it would look good in a well-appointed home. And thank heavens, they haven't completely jumped on the mid-century trend as most other such places have. From chairs to rugs to cards, there's something here for anyone with good taste. (I picked up a fairly recent photography coffeetable book at a reasonable price.) There's also an adjoining women's vintage clothing store (unfortunately, nothing for guys). While the location might be a little tough to find at first, it's one to put on your radar. (And not far from NFM, so any time you're thinking of visiting them, stop by here, too.)

Especially when you can find comparable items at a thrift store. As a result some items have been there for quite some time. I love that she also carries some local artists' works. But again, overpriced for what they are. The store is quite crowded, I don't think a stroller could fit through some of the walking paths. I worry about bringing my big purse in. Overall, it's a fun place to peruse, but after many visits, I've yet to pull the trigger on buying anything.

I'm from Australia and searched for months with no luck finding a company that supported overseas shipping until I came across Amethyst Home. I immediately contacted the company to find out more on costs and lead times, then placed an order. To be honest, I was very nervous about paying all costs upfront especially with such a long lead time, 6-7 months before estimated arrival into Australia but Amethyst Home assured me everything would be ok and they'd be available any time I needed to reach out, and they were. They kept in constant communication with me with prompt replies and updates. When the shipment arrived Australia they assisted in expediting import clearance and stayed in touch until I received delivery. I was also a bit anxious about the banquettes condition with it being shipped in a container and undergoing a long journey but it was packed so well and secure, there was no chance of it getting soiled or damaged during transit. I want to thank the team at Amethyst Home for their ongoing support, great communication and ultimately making this happen for me. I am writing this review with the hope of preventing another person from having to experience the…read moredifficulties I have encountered with this business. On Feb 18, I ordered the Nordic Dresser. The courier dropped the dresser while attempting to complete the delivery and broke it. I reached out to Amethyst who, after many emails back and forth, arranged for the broken piece to be picked up and offered a replacement. A few weeks later the replacement dresser arrived and was also broken. It sat in my home for five days until they sent a courier to pick it up. I reached out to Amethyst to request a refund as I have no confidence that a third dresser won't arrive broken (as the first two have). I have now taken four days away from the office to accept deliveries and facilitate returns for this order (Feb 10, Feb 13, Mar 31, and Apr 5). I have exchanged over 30 emails regarding this purchase with Elle from customer service. They refuse to issue me a refund but instead keep offering to issue another replacement. For a dresser costing in excess of $3,000, this is simply unacceptable. I understand that Amethyst is a small business and have done my best to remain patient and understanding. However, I would not wish this situation upon anyone looking to make a significant purchase for their home. I will not be purchasing from Amethyst again and HIGHLY recommend others refrain from doing so as well.

It matches are aesthetic perfectly and I hoped to find one similar when I had recently visited. I didn't, but I still managed to look around and see what they have for the upcoming spring season. It helped me to get an idea of what I plan to do when it's time to garden! I didn't interact much with the staff here but when we checked out our rug the first time we were greeted promptly and they were friendly. They have plenty of furniture (mostly living room/dining room), home decor, and also "knick knacks" which I would categorize as things like stationary, cards, coffee table items, mason jar sippy cups etc. They also have a small catus/succulent/air plant station where you can purchase plants and make your own design piece ala carte. I thought that was really cute, and purchased a few plants to replaces some dying ones in my home. Overall, this store has a very urban, city, "ikea" feel, and I am totally digging it. I do think the price tags for the furniture would make some modest Omaha dwellers cringe, but those who love interior decor as I do will find this place as fascinating as a kid in a candy shop.
