So, we went back and noticed the house was on Zillow for about 2 weeks and thought it was strange such a great home / location was still not rented. We decided to give it a try. 1) When we were scheduled to see the home, a gentleman showed up, let us in and then told us to just close the door when done and he will come back and return later to lock it back up. No one showed us around, no one discussed fees, move in costs etc.. 2) When we showed interest in the home, we were texted links by Tabor without any instructions on their process or how many other applicants were in front of us. After $90 later, the application and $60 pet profile were submitted. We also sent pay stubs and IDs as asked. 3) We had to email asking the status of our application only to be told, the checks we sent showed less than our application. No, they were not. They read the dates wrong and my husband's check was for 2 weeks and the other check was his commission check. If they would have looked at the YTD, they would be able to calculate his monthly earnings matched our application. 4). They wanted our current landlords contact info. When asked if this was the last step and asked for assurance we were going to move forward with a contract once they called the landlord, they went dark. I had explained that we did not want to cause any riffs with the current landlord as we have (hubby 13 years as a tenant) had a good rapport with the landlord. I emailed and texted.... no reply. Guess they just wanted our $150. I wonder if they know the $3200 rent would have benefitted them more. We had the gut feeling something was off, so we then just decided to let this one go. Stay away from these people.

0/5 -- If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would…read more Living here has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an apartment complex. Maintenance has no idea what they're doing. In the middle of summer, our A/C was out for more than FIVE days, and the "help" we got was basically useless. On top of that, the property is disgusting. There is dog poop everywhere because no one bothers to clean up after their pets, even though the complex has dog bag stations all over. Clearly no one enforces anything. And don't even get me started on the neighbors. The noise is nonstop, and even when you file complaints, management does absolutely nothing about it. On top of other issues that take months to fix because they don't know how to fix it. Our move-out date cannot come soon enough. Save yourself the headache--there are plenty of places that cost the same (or less) where you'll actually get basic livability and management that cares. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

As someone relocating to Arizona in Summer 2025, I was on a search for a new apartment and came…read moreacross Sage Apartments. My journey crashed before it could even begin... 1. I am disappointed by the inability to actually speak with a human being while having to fight your way through customer service/AI support; a "middle man" team that cannot answer questions about the property or are limited in what they can answer. 2. The support/AI service center takes your information to pass onto the leasing agent(s) but even that is not properly relayed and you will be repeating yourself to exhaustion. Redundancy and more time wasted. 3. It takes days for anyone to contact you and when you call the office, and fight your way through the phone tree, property management never answers the phone. NEVER. I spent days calling during my initial inquiry and the phone just rings. Now, imagine if you wanted to apply for an apartment but you can't get someone on phone, but if you finally do, the unit you might be interested will be gone by then. Also, keep in mind that they have a NORTH & a SOUTH sides of their property so be aware of this as one side is older than the other. 4. Their website is very limiting, while you can see floor plans and photos of the property, they didn't have any virtual tour videos of the floor plans during my initial website visit (this has now changed within days since but they only show two models). A property should show ALL floor plans for transparency regardless of availability. Many people rely on virtual videos when they cannot visit a property directly, and they may not apply for an apartment sight unseen. Now, in between this time, I kept getting the same generic email messages: first was Carmina, then someone named Sage who ironically shares the same name as the property. More marketing emails of encouragement to visit their site and look at floor plans. 5. When I finally did get an actual response from a leasing agent, it was from Jessica days later. She was nice enough to answer my questions via email and offered to send me videos of the floor plans that interest me. I responded to Jessica on 5/16 requesting to see videos of the selected floor plans but never got a response. Yet, the support/AI center bombards you with repeat auto generated marketing emails that become annoying over time. Then, on 5/22, a new email from Jessica and again, a generic marketing message encouraging me to look at their floor plans, visit their website, apply online, etc. Again, no follow up to the videos she was supposed to send me, something she offered to do. My communication went completely disregarded to date. This was a clear indication that customer service is poor but also eye opening to know that it's a property I quickly lost interest in. By this point, I became too frustrated with my attempts to research this property. I sent a final email eliminating Sage Apartments from future interest as too much time was wasted and in the end it got me nowhere. I ended up choosing a different property elsewhere. ..and after having read reviews from past and present tenants, I'm glad I chose not to consider this property. I understand there's good and bad with any property but this one has been the worst experience from a research perspective.

Homeowners and Renters Beware!!!…read more Extremely disappointing experience with this property management company. We never met anyone from the company, not even on move in day. We were given only one key in a lockbox, which was never removed and stayed on the property the entire six months we lived there. The carpets were full of dog hair when we moved in even though we do not have a dog. We were told the previous tenants skipped out on rent, which strongly suggests the carpets were never cleaned. Despite this, we were charged $240 for 2 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs for carpet cleaning when we moved out. Kim was consistently condescending and rude. The homeowner was the only person who ever came to the property or handled repairs (homeowner was very kind, wish they took Kim out of the picture and saved themselves the money) Our move in checklist noted multiple dirty and broken items and we never received follow up. We were told to submit service requests in the portal, which we did, but only received responses after repeated emails. We were not given basic information upon move in, including the pool code, garbage and recycling days, which bins were ours, or which mailbox belonged to us. It took over three weeks of emailing in the Arizona July heat to finally get the pool code. Do not use this company. Choose a property manager who actually communicates, cares, and is professional.
