I I had an absolutely GREAT experience with Jake and Lamont with PAINTERS PLUS! Our initial meeting went extremely well - Jake was very personable, professional and set clear expectations on how the job would run - what would be included in the price, etc... We had our entire interior painted - Jake gave us an absolutely reasonable quote. We had gotten a quote from another company that was significantly much higher, and I am sure would not have had the same quality of service from PP. From there, we agreed on a price and a start date with an ETA of 2 days to complete - and Chelsea was great at responding to my many emails and confirming paint color. The day they started, a crew of 5 painters came in - and were again competent and professional and worked at a great speed. They arrived around 7 AM and immediately began moving furniture and covering (we were responsible for getting all the stuff off the walls and any valuables off shelves) - I was convinced the job would take the 3 days - and they finished as promised in 2. They did everything they promised and more! My house looked like new again! I then hired them to paint the exterior and they gave me a discount because I am a repeat customer. They painted it for us the following week and it looks amazing!! All the neighbors have come by and have raved at how good it looks and 2 of them have also hired PP to do their projects. One lady stopped by from 2 blocks away (we live in Pocket area) and she said she had a bad experience with a painting company because they took her deposit and never showed up. I told her that was illegal and that Painters Plus (or PP as I refer to them) NEVER charged me a dime until they finished and I did an inspection. (and my wife and daughter too) They are picky, haha - any way they only found 1 spot and it was a bug that flew on the wet paint. We love our new house inside and out. I had read a couple negative reviews on them -so I asked Jake what happened, he was very candid and explained that one person (Karen P) was a past client who used them several times - so when they wanted touch up work done on a new house they moved too he said they did them a favor and gave them a discounted price (like $100 or $150?) and they did it all for them and they signed off happy and paid. Then they called them and said they missed a couple things- so Jake said they went back and they wanted them to paint practically the whole house (he said doors, trim, etc.) for $100 !? He said they couldn't do that -it would cost more. They flipped out he said and told them they were going to write bad reviews. And they did -- I believe Jake. He has been honest with me and the guys were all great. I even called 5 references randomly from a list of about 100 -and every single person said about the same thing-- that they were awesome. I asked Jake why they don't call Yelp about the reviews that are saying things to hurt the business - he said they tried and they told him there is nothing they can do. Even if people make up stuff. They said they can't prove it. Its just like my friend taro who owns a Sushi chain called Mikuni's. They have great food - probably the best sushi you can ever enjoy - - but even so people write bad reviews saying its awful when we know its a lie. Some he says are the competition trying to hurt him. Thats why I judge things on my own. Its like when I read movie reviews - one person says 5 star- the other says worst ever. Anyways -sorry for the rant. I will end by saying - give Painters Plus a chance. They will give you a reference package 10 pages thick -those are the real reviews. :) read more

Wow!!!! This company is fantastic. I got a very reasonable estimate and they were worth every dollar that I spent. The crew arrived to my house promptly at 7am as promised and they all arrived in one work vehicle so I didn't have cars parked up and down my street. The crew arrived with a Supervisor and the Estimator, Steve. They both did a work around the house exterior with me before they started the job and had me approve my paint colors that they had ordered per my specifications. The crew worked very hard all day and were all uniformed and polite. When the job was complete, the Supervisor once again walked around the job with me to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with their workmanship. I was so excited that they could complete the exterior painting of my 2500 sq. foot home in one day. They cleaned up so well...that you would never know they were there except they left my house looking like new! Don't let one review discourage you from calling this company. I called on several of their references before hiring them, and every past customer was completely satisfied. They are awesome!!!! ZERO STAR...STAY AWAY!!! Unprofessional, Unethical and Terrible customer service!! No quality work nor customer satisfaction here! Worst paint job ever with no prep/crack repair work, and the house was completely vacant! Couldn't have made it any easier! The house has several high wall decorative ledges which they left dirty and unpainted!! When we discovered it the next morning, when my husband was trying to repair cracks that they hadn't done, we called them to come and paint them. The owner refused, (even though I had sent him pictures) yelled at me, and hung up on me! He said he did me a favor doing the job cheap, (which was his price, not mine) and that I signed off on the finish walk-thru, which of course, did NOT include me climbing 8' ladders to check out the unseen ledges! Just because you can't see them, doesn't mean you leave them undone..you trust the painter to have done his job right and cleaned and painted them!! Of course, they had immediately cashed my check the same day and I had no recourse. I should have known better, what do you expect from a company that bids jobs blind, without even coming out to take a look at it, even after I suggested they should. Ryan "Ryno" S & Karen P We've had the exact same experience with Painters Plus, in our case they intentional misquoted the job, and when we ask them to complete what we though the entire contract covers, they wanted additional money. It's like you ask them to paint a table with four legs, they will paint just three legs, and then late demand additional money to paint the four leg. While posting your negative experiences with Painters Plus Inc. online can help alert future customers of this company's history of dishonesty and sub-standard work, the only way to rein in this Bait & Switch unlawful activities is to purse complaint with California State contractor's License Board and consider taking them to smalls claims or even superior court to recover your monies or punitive damages. It appears this company and its owners are not customer service oriented. The management will ignorantly attack and blame the customer for their own pattern of deception. OMG!!!!! I cannot tell you in enough words what an awesome experience Painter's Plus (PP) did for me. I had my house painted 15 years ago by PP and because of the followup I called them again. Lamont and Harry were soooo nice and easy to work with that I truly would not hesitate to call on PP again. I even picked out the colors based on some pictures in a magazine and one of the colors was not appropriate for my house or the neighborhood. Lamont had the foresight to stop and call me at work and ask me did I REALLY want that particular color on my house? Since I was at work, I had my neighbor come out and look at the color as I raced from work to review the paint. My neighbor said "H___ NO!" and I agreed! Thank You, Thank You, Thank YOU PP!!!! I will be forever grateful that you cared enough to think things through and not just blindly put paint on a house without considering who I was and the neighborhood I live in. This is my second time using Painters Plus. They painted the exterior of my home in the past, and recently painted a very hard to reach and super high ceiling hallway. The two crew members assigned were very friendly and courteous. They made sure to check in with me at the end of the job to make sure everything met expectations. They also cleaned up the job site, which was very appreciated. This company is extremely responsive, which is a rarity these days with many other businesses. Melissa in their office was very helpful, too. She got me booked quickly and I appreciated that as I know painters can be very busy in the warmer weather months. I would highly recommend painter Plus. They are very punctual and showed up exactly on their committed time. Did a thorough job patiently and revisited touch up when pointed too. Mike, the supervisor is very friendly and entertaining. He also provided other useful tips for maintaining other household items. Gregory also took his time what was assigned to him and did not rush just to get things done. Aaro and exterior crew was also polite. Though Aaro rushed his tasks which Mike covered later. We just had our entire complex painted by Painters Plus - in Antelope. These guys were professional, polite, clean and did a great job for us! They did everything on time and on schedule. They did extra things that were not on the contract. They went above and beyond to make our condo's look like new! just a quick note to let everyone how please we are with Steve and Painters Plus.. They painted and replaced some dry rot siding etc... on our house in September of 2017 and did a great job... This past high winds and rain we had a water leak in our upstairs master bedroom and after trying to figure out what is was, we found the trim over the window had some dry rot.. I took painting services for my office from Painters Plus. I decided to go with them as they assured me to complete the whole painting project in two days. Although they did the job on time but I was not satisfied with the color combinations they have chosen. Earlier, when they have discussed the color combinations with me in the sample, it was looking fine but it was not for my office.
