Overall great experience with our exterior house painting from the estimate to the final touch-up. Owner Mark gave us a detailed, reasonable proposal and explained everything to us. Miguel and Luis showed up early each morning to beat the heat, and did a superb job for a picky client. They scraped and caulked the wood trim, masked and tarped everything to protect windows, light fixtures, hardscape and landscaping. They went to a 'brass tacks level' with trim work and making sure all lines were clean. They removed weather stripping and screen doors and made sure things were reinstalled properly. Stucco was sprayed and back-rolled. They get busy during the summer, so just have a little flexibility with estimating and scheduling (they called and came a day earlier as they finished early on another job, but no problem for us since it was exterior work). Mark assigned the friendly team of George and Juan. They arrived early, got right to work masking everything. They had the right ladders for the high trim and the correct drop cloths, masking paper and tape. In particular, George demonstrated great skill with the airless spray gun and Juan went high with skill and care. Everything needed was supplied in a convenient trailer parked at the curb. Worst. Painters. Ever. Philosophy is "if you can't see it, we don't paint it." Left a mess, even after "cleaning." Fast talk about quality. Reality is you get a terrible painting job. Used cheap masking tape, which leaves a residue on windows, instead of painters tape. Left tape on walls and then painted over the tape. Don't walk away from this company. RUN away. read more

To follow up on my previous review after many weeks my desire to have the job finished Mark finally showed up. I thought we had an understanding of what I wanted. I offered to actually buy the paint which I did. Mark put me in touch with one of his crew to finish the job. And guess what he said he would fix it for $400 plus $300 for the paint which I paid for. It took him maybe 2 hours to make it right. That is $200 per hour. Nice work if you can get it. I told Mark to just have a couple of his guys to finish the job but no that would have been too easy. He had a crew right around the corner from my house and still he could not be bothered. His motto to finish the job to the customer's satisfaction is CRAP. This was outright extortion. So letter to the Contractors License Board is in order and maybe Small Claims Court. read more

If you want a company that will take ownership of the job don't hire Mark and his Dynamic Painting. Mark came to my home to give me an estimate, which I accepted. Jose, the painter did a fine job on the ceiling and walls. We had just installed new French doors, which were to be painted along with the rest of the work. Jose got in a rush and used a roller on my nice new smooth doors. They should have been sprayed. I complained to Mark and he sent Jose back to do the job right. Jose came out and did more damage to the doors. In the end the doors look very amateurish. I have tried to get Mark to make it right but he feels he has done enough. During the summer of 2013, Dynamic painted the exterior of our Sun City Lincoln Hills house. Every five years, Clark Pest Control provides a termite inspection and it is here in which the compliments continue. My wife and I were then and true today, very pleased with the quality of your work and last week, the termite inspector also complimented your paint job as he often doesn't see as good a coverage as he saw with our house. Yep, you guys get kudos from a termite inspector! See you in 2023 for the exterior and will likely contact Dynamic Painting to redo the interior in a few years. Thanks again guys. read more

I would never ever use this company again. They used an unlicensed, unprofessional texture company then painted over their mess. When I ask Mark to fix the mess he was reluctant and said he would see me in court if I didn't pay him. Eventually we were able to come to a compromise and fixed the very bad drywall finish then repainted the house again. However, I believe one of the bathrooms is painted with a flat paint (never heard of anyone doing that), they sprayed over plug outlets and didn't even replace the covers. I had to buy new covers and install them on all the outlets in the house. The quality of the work is very questionable. I did file a claim with the contractors licensing board, and since we came to an agreement, I did not continue with the complaint. However, you do have 4 years in which to reinstitute the claim. read more
