Wow, this was super fun. I've done a painting before, but this was way better. The painting we chose was a gnome. It starts off being an outline and you basically fill it in. There's a great instructor that walks you through the steps. Our instructor Rodd, was really good. He was funny, he was engaging, he was really great. So happy to learn of this place. And hope to come back again some time.

Was looking for something fun to do with a friend while I was in town. Found this place and made a reservation. Rodd was our instructor. He was funny and helpful! I even ended up with a nickname... lol. I love my gnome!

This is such a fun place for date night and girls night out. I had a friend in from England recently and we went. I have been here several times and it's just such a fun, low-key environment. They really do help you get a painting you love and they try to make the classes really fun and enjoyable for everyone. I went with 4 stars only because they can be very loose with time and I've often had issues with classes starting really late, but honestly it's worth the patience.

If you like painting or even if you aren't the most creative, this is a fun place to give a try! The place is covered with beautiful paintings so plenty to look at. They have cool cut outs to take pics with and stages for you and your friends to take pictures after you paintings are done! They have different paintings to chose from each night and you reserve your seats easily online. They allow you to bring snacks and drinks (byob) and you can also have parties there!! The step by step instructions were so helpful, so you don't have to be a great artist. We painted a baby Yoda and they provided a pattern to trace. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves and came home with great painting to hang up!!!! I recommend this place!

Man I love this place! I couldn't tell you how many times I have been to this establishment. I have gone to the one on Burnet and the one in Round Rock several times each but there's something about the Cedar Park location. The only thing I can think of is management. The manager here really cares about this location. From what I can tell this is the only location that celebrates their anniversary which I have to say is a huge huge turnout. She definitely makes it fun and I have gone to all of them and will continue to go to all of them because it's not just about the painting but how they make you feel. (Excited to be there) I couldn't draw a stick figure before I came here but they teach you so easily, so simply and make it fun at the same time. I can't wait to go again!

I reached out to Painting with a Twist to lead a team building event on a weekday afternoon for our Austin-based employees. Everyone in our group (9 people) had a wonderful time and multiple people mentioned to me that they would love to go back to the Cedar Park location with friends and family. If you go, definitely request Lynsey Boyle. She was an amazing instructor - easy to follow, supportive and funny too! I highly recommend this activity for team building. My team was all smiles throughout the event and is still talking about it a month later.

I went here this past week, for the first time, and I'll go back for certain. This place is so much fun! I signed up for the Paint Your Pet, and it was challenging. They sketch the picture of your pet on canvas, and then you have to paint it, making this the more challenging of all their classes. However, the staff are helpful and provide tips and lots of encouragement. I think my portrait actually came out really well. :-) Also, they allow wine and food. So, I was able to bring a bottle of wine and some snacks. This made the whole experience all that more enjoyable, and I'm already planning a girls outing here with my mom.

I'm by no means an artist but I'm excited to hang my very own canvas out for all to see!!!

I had the best time tonight!! I went with my boyfriends mother and we both very much enjoyed ourselves. The instructor gave us inspiration but encouraged us to be artistically unique. I really appreciated the guidance and felt supervised (but not crowded). Everyone seemed very at ease and the energy was very positive. It's definitely a place that I would both recommend and return to. I can't wait for the next one!!

We had a great time! I was looking for something to do with my 11 year old son for his birthday. We had a great time together, it was age appropriate and we have a great Memento from the day. Jordan was amazing and patient!

The Yelp page for this location is oddly empty considering the hundreds of reviews on the Cedar Park PWAT Facebook page. Anyways, we drove out all the way from UT during Valentine's weekend since all of the "good" (we weren't into the love trees..) classes for closer locations were filled up. We were between this session (Congress Bridge) and the Austin Sunrise one. We came prepared with wine (wish we had more), and it looked like most of the folks there brought wine and beer as well. Booking a session was extremely easy, and while I initially thought $35 a person was pretty expensive, PWAT has to have been one of the coolest/most fun dates I've ever been on. When you get there, you pick out an apron, which they have plenty of silly ones, and sit in a seat they assigned to you. Your canvas, brushes, and all the paint you will need are already all laid out. I was pretty nervous near the start since I kept thinking I would mess up irreparably, but soon I was having fun and realized it was hard to mess up too badly while following the instructor's directions. Our instructor went at a good pace and was entertaining during the breaks we had when we let sections of the painting dry. There were some short party games and giveaways, etc. The session honestly ended before we knew it, and the end product turned out awesome enough now that it's hanging on my wall, even if it didn't look amazing up close that day. I think if you come with an open mind, are ready to have fun, and have some alcohol with you, this place would be a great way to spend two hours for any kind of outing. I had not touched paint in over ten years, and it turned out to be a memorable experience.

Greeted with excitement, owner Rochelle of Board & Brush had me check in on her iPad. Showed me to my seat where we chatted for a bit. I saw my project in its raw form. I'm so excited to tackle this project. This is actually my second time coming so I know a little of what is expected. Rochelle does an amazing job taking you step by step and helping you. Even if you're not a crafter, never even handled a paint brush, Rochelle, and her staff are very patient, and very helpful. You start off with a raw board of pine. You're given a couple minutes to release your stress on the board. Hammering marks using chicken wire, a hammer, a mallet, and a large screw. You'll sand it lightly, and then stain it. Then it's time to stencil. Using a semi dry brush, you'll dab your brush on the stencil. Give it a minute under the fan to dry and peal the stencil off. And you're pretty much done. You get an official Bb logo sticker to complete your project. I recommend signing and dating your project on the back. Viola you're an artist! The Fancy Marshmallow Co. owner, Tina, she is such a sweetheart. She set up her beautiful marshcuterie spread. All made from scratch. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful treats. She has the cutest treats. All kinds of shapes and sizes. My favorite is the strawberry champagne. Trust me, they are amazing. Tina also brought in her hot cocoa mix ingredients and we all got to make our own bag of hot cocoa mix to take home. And we got to pick our goodies from the marshcuterie and box them up in the cutest boxes with heart printed tissue paper. Such a sweet touch to a fun class. I highly recommend coming to Board & Brush. Such a fun girls night out. They are BYOB, so it's a great group celebration. The Fancy Marshmallow, such a cute boutique, I've been several times. Tina comes up with the most delicious home made treats for all holidays and celebrations. Her boutique is the girliest cafes in Cedar Park! So darling. Check them both out. 5 stars!
