Painting with a Twist was so much fun! We loved being able to choose our own artwork before arriving--it made the experience feel even more personal. Our instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, which made the class enjoyable for everyone. We actually celebrated a froends birthday and was able to bring in our own food and drinks. We listened to music as wr painted our art. Such a great experience overall! read more

I went last night with my partner, and it was absolutely amazing! Bree is such a breath of fresh air. She is super helpful and makes the environment so welcoming and inviting. She even helped my horrible painting look so much better with just a few strokes, lol! Because of her amazing customer service and expertise, we decided to make this a regular date night. Came for the first time tonight with my dad & daughter and we had a great time! Unexpectedly, we were the only 3 in the class! We brought wine and snacks with us. The instructor, Brittany, was lovely - sweet, patient and she explained each step really well. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to coming back soon. read more

Lay was our artist for our paintings. She was really nice when I walked in, told me where to find a smock and got my supplies for me. The class itself was fun, and easy to follow along with. I also thought the price was pretty fair for 2 hours of studio time + instruction + materials. It is BYOB so you can come with your own drinks and snacks, but they also have stuff for purchase as well. I'm looking forward to going back for another class and would definitely sign up for a class with Lay again! read more

These wonderful people really go above and beyond!! I couldn't make it to my best friend's birthday party here. Wow this place is fantastic. We have been to similar places in Miami and California but Painting with a Twist in Deerfield beach is by far the best . The facility is new and fresh and the staff goes out of their way to make the customers happy. The artists really know how to work with the customers and the final results are really remarkable. Having a glass of wine really makes the experience more fun and relaxing. Great place for a party or family get together or a girls or guys night out or a birthday party . We really had a great time and will be coming back I might even hang my painting when I get home. Believe me you will enjoy your experience read more

We celebrated my husband's birthday in the private room, we did a glow in the dark painting and we loved it! Scott was our instructor for the night and he was great! Super funny and entertaining. Our party had so much fun! Of course, I couldn't have organized this event without Lisa's help. What a great experience!! Our instructor was funny, friendly, and most importantly, extremely patient with those of us who are not artistic in the least bit!! I have my painting hanging on the wall like a Rembrandt, though it is SO opposite! But it's a reminder of a fantastic time I had with a group of friends!!! What a unique and fun way to hang out with friends while meeting new ones, and enjoying an art form most of us haven't experienced since childhood!!!! Fun fun fun! Painting with a twist a great studio for fun night with either friends/ family or co-workers. Prices are very reasonable. I looked up few places before booking the evening for 4 of us and I have no regrets. Had a fantastic time. You get great teacher that leads you thru the entire painting process. Even for a new y that never held a brush they help you all the way. The whole thing is about 2 hours but not once we felt rushed and had enough time to focus and complete our paintings. Will definitely do this again. read more

This was so disappointing. I took my 2 kids and husband here for family open studio (i have a 3 and 5 year old). We walked in (never been here before) and the instructor did not even greet us or explain one thing to us. She was so unfriendly and made us feel bad for being there and needing help. Even the other couple next to us commented on how this instructor was not the nice one. It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to help us and explain things. Then as time progressed, i realized that my 3 year old could not do this by herself, so I helped her and didn't spend time on my canvas (i didn't paint my canvas at all after 1 hour of being there). I asked the lady if I could get one refund for mine since I wasn't painting; she called her boss and basically they wouldn't give me a refund because "the class already passed" but would give me a credit. Why would i ever come back here? I ended up just choosing the easiest design for my canvas and let my 5 year old do his and mine. It was an expensive experience; $180 for us 4 to be treated so poorly. Would not recommend this location. read more

This was my first time at a painting class and it was a great experience! We came as a group from work so we had the place for ourselves and picked the picture to paint. Roger was the instructor, he was very nice and patient and very detailed. The studio is nice and open, the staff friendly, and we were able to bring our bottles of wine to drink while we painted. Overall a great experience and I am already making plans to come back with friends for a ladies night out. read more

We decided to go to Painting with a Twist for my daughter's birthday. We brought her and her friends and it was our first time going as well. Let me tell you it is fun and for all ages. It is a very nice atmosphere, they play music, and offer drinks at a very reasonable price. The artists are very friendly and professional. They were very patient with the kids especially for the birthday party. They allowed us to bring snacks and juices and they have painting projects or for all talent levels. They are located in Deerfield beach not too far from I 95. I did not think I could create such a nice painting and neither did my kids but we were wrong! We had so much fun it was a blast and an overall great experience. I will be going there again for future birthdays and I truly recommend this place because the service was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. There are also many options to paint. My son was also given a choice to pick one of the paintings off the wall to take home on top of the painting that he painted himself. We came during the afternoon hours and in the future I will plan on trying a date night or A fun girls night out. Everyone had a wonderful time and the area was very clean. We have the paintings hanging up in our house right now as I write this review and they look great. So I recommend you give them a try because you will definitely Not be disappointed. read more

I went to PWAT for the first time last night with my work colleagues. I have to say it was a blast. The painting instructors Lisa and Amanda were great. It does not matter if you are not an artist because they break it down into simple steps. You can bring food and any types of beverages. I highly recommend trying it! read more

I have been to several painting with a twist in the Broward County area and by far this has to be the best one and we all had a grand time. Artists were very helpful and talented and they also gave us ice and cups and let us bring in our own wine even though they sell it. The entire experience from the start to finish of booking our event was seamless. Holly the owner was very attentive, opened our wine and so personable. They are fun & professional they made all of us feel right at home. I can't recommend this painting with a twist in Deerfield Beach enough. It was a night to remember and too much fun. We created some Great paintings and made some memories that will last forever , my 92 mother was even impressed. kudos and we will be back. read more

Loved my experience with this studio. They helped me make my wife's birthday special. Holly was extremely kind, and accommodating. She helped me pull together a great birthday party here with only a few days notice. The paintings came out great, and it was a great way to spend time with close friends an family. Slowly but surely, the picture began to take place (we did a pineapple). Even more awesome, it was super relaxing, at least for me it was. Cole was very helpful and didn't make me (us) feel like we were not up to par with the art world. He guided us through the whole process, using terms that we could understand. The screen is gigantic, making for a great viewing experience. The sound was good, although I thought the volume could have been a little louder. The lighting throughout the theater is nice, and there are restrooms on both the first and second floors. If you are seated toward the back of the auditorium, you can easily exit onto the second floor to access them. The theater also has both staircases and elevators, making it easy to get around. Overall, this is a great movie theater, and we come here often. On this visit, we watched *The Super Mario Bros. Movie* and were already looking forward to seeing *Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse* next!

So we made the movie date plan. we arrived and saw some very hard working gals at the front. They looked short at least 1 if not 2 people to work. It was impressive the effort they were putting forth, especially compared to the average movie theater worker. We ordered a couple of wines which only the manager could pour. That was the only negative, as it was about 15 minutes for him to come to the front, and didn't seem too interested in working. To be fair, when I came out later for a follow up round, a different manager was there and was more than helpful. The Imax was great. Not like the really big ones but pretty good, and the chairs go bay back. We made note and will definity be back soon for a big movie.

First impressions: I loved the concept. A cooperative-style art studio giving artists a place to create is genuinely special. When class started, the teacher, a relatively young girl, introduced herself and immediately told us not to bother telling her our names because she wasn't going to remember them anyway. I remember thinking... okay. A little odd, but whatever. I'm here to play with clay. She was very skilled and genuinely helpful during the class itself. I enjoyed learning and had a good time. At one point I noticed a pile of glazed pots sitting nearby. The teacher mentioned that unclaimed pieces get donated to a rage room. I remember cringing a little thinking about all those cute handmade pots getting smashed. After learning the wheel, you glaze your pieces and leave them behind to be fired. We were told the studio would contact us once everything was ready for pickup. A few weeks went by and I never heard anything, so I checked the website. It basically said: please do not call us, firing takes time, we'll reach out when ready. Okay... slightly cold in tone, but fair enough. I figured I'd be patient. Then life happened and I completely forgot about it. Now it's been months. No call. No email. So at this point, I'm assuming someone probably had a fantastic time smashing my pots with a baseball bat.

While she was locking the door dramatically, I asked for her name or for an email so that I could get refunded for the $175. She ignored me made several faces and continue to fumble with a very simple top lock. The only point she made was that I should call ahead of going to any classes with my daughter before leaving the impression of negativity. I'm ashamed of myself for booking this class. . zero stars.
