I'd run into an issue but I called the studio, and the woman who answered was super friendly. Karlee, the instructor, was very patient and welcoming. She gave all instructions clearly and made sure we all were caught up before moving on to the next, and still ended the class on time. Their drink menu is great and we all loved the mimosas. The studio is very beautiful with all past paintings on the wall. I was also impressed by the size of the studio. I was told that they need at least 3 people to sign up to run a class, so make sure you grab a few friends and go there!!

At some point I guess we ran short of time because the instructor sped up severely. None of the painters were anywhere near the stage that she was talking about. She kept saying don't worry I'll repeat it. Well the repeating was a quick listing of all the things we should be doing, with no chance of actually doing those... like reading a grocery list very quickly. And the urgency that we need to take a group picture now and we could finish our paintings after taking the picture. This gave us about 3 minutes as they were taking our paints and brushes... basically kicking us out the door... that really left a bad taste and ruined the whole night. I understand that the employees would like to go home, but can we maybe have a steady pace instead of waiting for the next step in the beginning and then sprint at the end.

We painted a "little blue bird" which was so cute and modern. I was nervous because I didn't want it to turn out awful since I really had no previous experience. She was so encouraging and did a great job explaining what to do! I am so proud of the final product and it will be hanging in my daughters room! Everyone was so impressed that I did it. It was amazing that we started with a blank canvas and 3 hours later we had a work of art! I will defiantly go do this again!
