They always end with a group picture which is fun for festive events.

My small posse of girlfriends is addicted. This Sunday we return for the fifth visit to this make-it-and-take-it venue housed in a quirky old building that used to be a bank. The atmosphere is festive with fun music playing in the background and happy chatter from table to table. Bottled water and canned sodas are available for free. Beer and wine are served for a small charge, making things even... festiver. The staff is very helpful and concerned that you leave with a piece of art that you're happy with. They have a wide selection of stains and paints and let you "do your own thing" but can also step in to help you achieve a certain look, if you want the assistance. And if you've made a mistake, they have a dozen ways to help you fix it. Multiple examples of each (of over 100) sign styles are hung on the walls, found on their website, or on their Facebook page for those who need ideas and inspiration. There are techniques to achieving certain finishes... but all in all, the process is very simple. No one should be intimidated. Pretty much anyone can make a sign they'd be proud of. Board and Brush gets my vote for: - Best date night value - Best GNO venue - Best idea for a bachelorette party But, I guess the most credible compliment is what I told you up front... we're returning for our FIFTH visit this weekend. Go. Enjoy.

This is a pretty fun place where you can make your very own artwork on wood! Stain, paint, and create a cool personalized decorative sign.

Board and Brush is the ultimate DIY workshop and the best part is they have all the tools and they clean up the mess. They have two large areas to work on your chosen project with large tables. I love that when you sign up they ask who you want to sit with so then as your friends sign up you will be at the same table. I have down two classes and had a blast both times. The first time I went alone, but it was fun getting to know people at my table while we all worked on our wood project. The second time I went with a group of friends and had an even better time. Board and Brush has so many projects to pick from on the website. It took forever to decide what to make. I will definitely being going back to do more as I have several favorites still yet to make. They have everything you need and help you every step of the way. I liked the hands on of this class as you actually get to nail your boards together and even put the hanger on! First you stain your wood, then you tape your wording, and paint over it with your choice of colors. I liked looking at all the projects in the building to help with my color choices. They have a board to see the different shades and the paint swabs with it. It really helps you see how your project will look. The class always has a teacher and then helpers who go around and help and they have been fabulous both times! I love they help. I love both my projects and can't wait to go back!

This has nothing to do with FedEx and gives a decently low cost shipping option a false ruined image by chopping off heads of everyday customers needing a quick solution. After seventeen years selling on eBay, I can highly recommend the free account and services on Pirate Ship which offer corporate rates without a membership. Please do yourself a favor and drop off your FedEx labeled items at CVS and similar not here.

I was happy to see that there was a FedEx Shipping office location down the street from me. I stopped by this week to drop off the equipment and have the FedEx staff pack it up and arrange the shipping for me. LeAnn helped me out and she was very courteous and friendly. I had two separate shipments to different addresses and Leann did a wonderful job collecting my information and making sure everything was squared away with ease. Leann even repeated the information back to me and had me verify it on the payment screen to make sure it was accurate and correct. I was in and out of the location in less than 20 minutes, which was perfect! I noticed regulars came in to have packages shipped and they were on first name basis with the staff, and that is a good sign of excellent customer relations! This is a wonderful FedEx location, and will definitely come back here for shipping packages going forward. It is very convenient for me and the staff are wonderful! A+ for effort in my book!

Eventually, they moved into this two storefront location a bit west on East 82nd Street. They share space with Rumble, a boxing/fitness outfit that recently hosted a Yelp event. This is definitely a much smaller spot. Self-serve options are more limited, though they do exist including the ability to copy. The maximum package weight that can be shipped here is 150 lbs. Despite being much smaller, this location still offers both printing and shipping services. Printing services include self-service copying, scanning, and faxing. They also include shredding, copy/print, free wi-fi hotspot, passport photos/renewals/expediting, direct mail, computer all-access stations, architecture/construction/engineering prints, business cards, flyers, postcards, labels, promo products, custom-branded boxes, padded mailers, and more. Shipping services include getting a shipping label, express drop-off, ground drop-off, being able to hold both express and ground packages for pickup (great for those not able to be home for a package), QR code returns, return shipping, packing, packaging supplies, and international shipping. There are two accessible parking spots directly in front of Rumble with a curb-cut. There's a blue-striped spot between the two spots for wheelchair access (technically NOT ADA since ADA requires blue stripe access for both passenger and driver). Still, it's better than most. There's a single glass entry doorway. It's within visibility of the counter if assistance is needed, though when I entered the sole employee was in the back. I only needed to ship out a lab test on this visit. It was pre-packaged with a shipping label already affixed. The employee took the box, gave me a receipt, explained tracking, and we were done. He was friendly, efficient, and I was out pretty quickly. A customer actually opened the door for me on the way out. I spent many special projects hanging out at the old Kinko's. I've always kind of missed it, but time moves on. This was a solid visit to this new location and I won't hesitate to go back if needed. While it seems easier to just have FedEx drive by the house to pick up a package, I've always found drop-off easier and this worked quite well.
