My poor sewing machine had been sleeping all these years after one use but it has definitely been over worked these days, in a good way. So far, I've taken Sewing 101 and within 2 weekends I've learned to make so many items, such as table napkins, tool bag, pillow case, and reversible tote. My favorite has been the tote bag that I've gone fabric frenzy; thank goodness Joann was having a sale. By no means my sewing skills is perfect after one class and I've been best friends with the seam ripper, but it's been non stop fun making these one of a kind items picked and made by me that are actually functional. Not only are the classes fun, you really learn all the facts and know hows that'll go a long way if you really want continue mastering your skills. Everyone was frustrated when we began. Lance basically moved around the room doing the work for everyone. He was so incredibly rude and I would never recommend taking his class. His wife tried to help and kept asking him to help others which he completely ignored. It was awkward and simply not a fun experience.

We were given a short intro and instructions and then let loose to be as creative as we liked. At the end you're lead to a table to put your masterpiece in a 'wet paint box', you go clean up in a section in the back then walk back to the front to claim your box. It was a cool experience and our new artwork will make its debut on the living room wall when fully dry! I would definitely come back and try the other rooms and activities they have available. You pick your container from their options when you first walk in (we picked one large container and then 3 small containers) and then you get either 3 small succulents or 1 large and 1 small succulents (which are more than enough to fit in your containers) they had a variety of colored moss, color rocks, and some cute little decor items (or bring your own).
