Pros: I don't think I've ever had cake this delicious, incredibly good, absolutely amazing taste. With little to no direction other than flavors and colors, they did a great job. Cons: The way this incredibly expensive birthday cake was packaged for transport was quite disappointing. Meaning the box was too small and the frosting was dinged up by the time it got into the car. Had to repair the frosting and (silk ?) flowers at home. Would understand if it had been a $50 store cake, but after spending near $300 it really should have been their priority to make sure the cake could travel intact. read more

Be careful about placing your order with these people. You need to let them know at least one week in advance , period. They don't care about who you are or how urgent your order is. My husband and I have been ordering from them for many years and I can't believe we are still doing that. Their cakes are pretty in presentation and flavor and texture are good. Paisley Cakes is mostly a custom cake bakery that requires several days notice when ordering a cake; however, they do have cupcakes, cake pops, ice cream, and cake of the month (or week) when you come into the store. We decided to try the cake of the month -Key Lime Pie Cake. The Key Lime Pie was scrumptious! A light white cake with tangy key lime curd, graham cracker crumbs and a light creamy filling just like you were in Key West enjoying a piece. It was even better than I was expecting. I'm going to make a point of stopping there to try another piece of cake the next time I go through Blackfoot. I may even end up making an excuse to go that way since I live in Idaho Falls. Don't let the fact that this bakery is tucked away along side a gas station distract you from what all it has to offer! My husband and I were discovered Paisley Cakes while looking for wedding cake shops outside of Jackson, WY to avoid the exorbitant Jackson prices. We were immediately impressed with Lanae's professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for cake. We spent over an hour talking about flavors of cakes, fillings, frostings and she had us try any and everything that she thought would help us make the ultimate decisions about our wedding cake. Not only does she has incredible taste in desserts, she is also a very creative cake decorator, and is very well organized when it comes to communication skills, timeless of replying to emails, and being prompt on delivering the cake on the day of. Everyone at our wedding was totally blown away by how mouth-wateringly delicious the cake! Even our caterer (who bakes his own wedding cakes) even commented on how incredible and moist the cake was! We originally thought that we would go with a traditional almond cake with buttercream frosting but in the end we were so blown away but all of the delicious flavors. We opted to go with a three tiered buttercream frosting cake, each tier being a different flavor including almond with buttercream filling, carrot cake with cream-cheese filling, and chocolate cake with cookies n' cream filling.
