In the last 10 years, we've been obsessed with their simple chefs salad... shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded ham, grated cheddar and black olives. Then, top w/ one of the superbly creamy, homemade dressings and it's hard to beat. (My wife likes the Thousand Island, I prefer the garlic.) Tonight, my wife wanted lasagna and I opted for the meatball sandwich. The pasta was quite tasty and my sammie was superb!! It was served with a fresh pickle spear and Ruffles. (What's not to like about that!) Simple and satisfying. Top it off with an ice cold Shiner Bock draft....perfection!! Pizza Planet has been around at least 50 years. It's very plain; zero ambiance. So what did I do? I freaking ordered a pizza. I really wanted to give this place a chance. After all, everyone loves Bangkok Tokyo next door. Well, the pizza is horrific. Yes, that's the right word. The pizza was served undercooked with raw dough. Sadly I will never go back. Instead I will follow the crowd and enjoy the delicious Bangkok Tokyo next door. Now that is amazing. All the new items are creative, flavorful and delicious. 2. The service is really superb. Terri is a fan-favorite, but the other servers are equally great. All are efficient, accurate, and super attentive to each customer. 3. Even the management makes a concerted effort to make sure the customers are well taken care of. Here's to another 30 visits..

Major bummer. Food presentation was subpar as well, with one of the apitizers having double the amount of sauce on top as another which barely had any. The server was kind- major props to her- but it took a while after we sat down to be served. Only pluses are that the fried green tomatoes were okay, as was the coffee. Definitely going to find a new breakfast spot.
