I should not know any of this about him, but he was eager to push his political opinions. He seemed unable to stop talking, and waved his arms about wildly for emphasis. It was difficult for him to pause, let alone listen to any questions. His energy level was over the top. This was the first time I ever walked out on a doctor, mid-visit. I was there for a physical exam; instead, I was subjected to a maga stand-up routine. Clearly, this man's self-disclosure showed poor judgement, and his medical judgement was likely questionable as well. Not someone I could trust to take on my medical care. I should add, the office is actually a busy Urgent Care. A strange place to visit your personal doctor. It has the anonymous, over-used feel of an urgent care. Decorated in gray and black and with dim lights, it is a depressing place to be in as well.

However, my last 3 visits to this location - two for urgent care and once for a general check up were not great and I will be looking elsewhere for care now. On my most recent visit, I had cold symptoms, was asked to wait outside and they tested me for Covid, which came out positive. I was told I could not be seen in person and someone would reach out that day to do a virtual appointment. I was never contacted and by the next day my symptoms had become more severe. I called the office again, spoke with the doctor and then the meds she called in were sent to the wrong pharmacy. In June, I came to quickcare for a high fever for over 5 days that I couldn't control and upper respiratory symptoms. The nurse taking my vitals used a forehead thermometer and said my temperature was normal. I knew that wasn't correct, she tested again with the same result. When I saw the doctor she was pretty dismissive and only agreed to a chest x-ray and breathing treatment after hearing me cough. While doing the breathing treatment, she came back in and saw that I physically did not look well. She retested my temperature (I asked her to) and I was nearly 103. She then was much kinder and I received proper treatment. In probably the worst experience, I came to their office for an overall health exam with their general practitioner. Essentially, I have a mental disorder that cause me to do some repetitive behaviors. I explained to the doctor and he asked me to hold out my hand and then he proceeded to slap it and told me to "not do that anymore." He did this again at the end of the visit. Overall, the wait times are minimal, however, you need to be ready to advocate for yourself and risk things being overlooked. I understand the medical industry is strained. I've worked in medical before myself. However, these behaviors and oversights can't be overlooked.

Went to renew my medical card. I only get a year renewal since I have HBP…read more My card was gonna expire and had a few weeks left to renew. I went to this exact location since its close to my job. Did my physical, everything checked out fine. Then all of a sudden as the practitioner is finishing her paperwork she asks, "Have you ever had a sleep study?" I said "no" "Well you have a neck size of 17 inches and you have hbp so its required that I give you one, im only gonna give you a 3 month certification but you have to schedule a sleep study with your primary care physician" I get upset because im like why in the hell would you wait until the end of my physical to hit me with that curveball? It was bad enough the hell I had to go through just to keep my blood pressure under 140/90 then she hits me with that bull****? As im asking questions, she kept cutting me off before I could finish any of them. She knows that was some bull****. And im guessing they been doing this to plenty of commercial drivers whom im sure had the same questions. She kept blaming it on new DOT rules but talking to my other co workers, other concentra locations wasn't doing this. I would have loved to have known about the damn sleep test beforehand, that way when I came to renew my medical card I could have had everything already present so that way I could keep my year certification without running the risk of not being able to drive. If you dont have a DOT medical card, it is illegal for you to drive a commercial vehicle. Remember I only got a 3 month certification and it took 3 months to get an appointment with kaiser for a sleep study. I took the sleep study and found out I had mild apnea but they still gave me the cpap machine. I also come to find out at the same time that I had to sleep with the cpap machine for at least 21 out of 30 days in order to renew. By the time all that would be done, my medical card would been expired and I wouldn't have been able to work. The shit was such an inconvenience and stressful situation that I ended up going out on disability until I was able to gather enough cpap data to renew my medical card. All this happened thanks to this location. If you have a commercial license, stay away from here. A few of my co workers gave me a location where ill have to pay out of pocket but I won't have to deal with this inconvenience. This was a very unprofessional experience, won't be dealing with them again. With the way that was done, I'm wondering if theyre in cahoots with any of these medical companies that sell these cpap machines?
