Nice friendly place and they do a very good job. They'll even hand wrap your items. The cost to ship is also better.

The employee was very friendly and helpful. I called first to make sure they used FedEx which is the company I was required to ship with. They have a nice supply of shipping supplies. I think they are a good value. Best of all I didn't have to wait in a long line. read more

STOP!! If you use ANY OTHER shipping and packing jobber in the metro area, you obviously haven't read my review!!! As follows; My mother was days from her demise, and I had to return to California for personal reasons. I brought very expensive and fragile porcelain statuary, heavy leaded crystal pieces, and some cast bronze artwork to be shipped to Sacramento. I plunked them down on the counter and told the counter person my plight and that my flight left in 2 hours. He asked if I wanted to insure them above the same $100 standard coverage, to which I replied; " I am assuming that you are competent enough to pack them well enough to assure them safe travel to their destination. Is my assumption unfounded?" To which he replied that he could pack them properly for the trip. I said ; "do it". " How much"? He replied that it would be 3 to 4 hundred dollars but without actually packing the items he could not be precise. ( the replacement value of the items was in the 60k range ). I told him to go ahead and pack them and call me with the total, and headed to my plane. Arriving in California late Friday, they were closed and I returned his call Monday. The total was 400$ which I paid by CC. The boxes arrived on friday as promised and people, I was stunned. There was only two boxed for 6 pieces and I thought that there was no way that the pieces were not in bits. But...I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A MAGNIFICIENT PACKING JOB IN MY LIFE!!!! This young man packed each piece in 4 and sometimes 5 layers of different density packing materials all the way from close density foam, to small bubble wrap to peanuts and more. His packing job was a joy to behold because I knew what I was looking at ( I owned an ophthalmic imaging company and had to ship fragile imaging and laser equipment ). Everything was perfectly preserved and made to fit in the smallest number of boxes to keep the cost down. *** If you are going to ship ANYTHING from the metro area, and you use anyone other than this particular shipper, you are a neophyte, don't care about your package, or have a plate in your head. I would give these people 10 stars if I could. They worked with me a number of times over a two-year period on a variety of shipments across the country as I worked through my aunt's estate. They shipped everything from Hummels to luggage to sentimental documents to furniture and even a chandelier! I packed some items myself, they packed others, and they even came to the house to pick up the furniture. Everything arrived on-time and undamaged. On top of everything else, the entire staff was kind and considerate as well as being helpful and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone needing to ship anything to anywhere from the St. Clair Shores area. This was my first experience with this business while visiting St. Clair Shores, MI...... Let me see...I can send an envelope filled with papers from this location to an address in AZ that will get there in three days for $35+ (what this places charges for Federal Express) or I can go to an Official Fed Ex location and send the same envelope filled with the same papers to the same location for under $10.....mm mm thinking. Talk about price gouging. When asked about the price difference I was told the price fluctuates....(I'll bet it does) but I know that Fed Express charges under $10 for the same package because I took my business there. This place may represent Fed Express but banks on the fact that you will not take your package to an Official Fed Ex location as this place resells Fed Express services for (my experience) at least three times the price. Save money and go directly to DHL or Fed Express. Needless to say I won't be using services from this business. read more

Every shipping service you need: UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, plus other services. UPS has plenty of drop boxes, but they're too small for most Amazon boxes -- height no taller than three inches. At Pak Mail in St. Clair Shores -- Greater Mack just before 9 Mile, a friendly human takes the package and scans it in. That way any recipient, especially for a return, can see you submitted the box. I have been going to this PakMail for years. I have a mailbox here, as well. I do a lot of shipping here and our packages and documents always have gotten to their destination on time. Derek and Werner and Jacob and Jenny are always helpful. They are able to provide Notary services as well as faxes, boxes, and tape. Beware Should be ashamed of themselves. Charged most expensive option first without asking any questions and was reluctant to answer questions about different (cheaper) shipping options! Had to repeatedly ask for "anything cheaper" after they started with a charge $25.00 to ship a 6x6 box to IL! Seriously? read more

Had to ship fragile household items from GP to rural CA. They handled everything. Came to the house, packed up everything at their shop, and everything arrived on the expected date. They stayed in contact via email and were quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. It was a big load 300+lbs., not cheap but these are memories-items and worth the $.
