    Endless summer

Place has a ton of history, and is run the way one would think the oldest bar in Florida would be run- no frills, "just the facts mam" order a drink, make conversation and enjoy! The negative reviews kill me. If you want your ass kissed and to be buttered up go to the bar at the Ritz. Leslie was our bartender and she was awesome! Actually taught us a lot about tequila (and we know a decent amount). She and Becca made great food suggestions! Drinks good, and we will be back. It actually didn't feel touristy, but like a legit local bar, where all are welcome if you aren't an A-hole

The oldest bar in Florida which makes it a must to stop in and grab a drink if you're visiting town. You'll probably only want to stay for one though. We were there there was only a handful of people in the place, and it was still really loud. Too loud to have a conversation at your table. And if you want to drink well, you need to get up and get it yourself. Not someplace I would visit again

Monday so very slow Two apparently regulars Bar maid has a fierce mouth (talking /cursing about her horrible bf or baby daddy or? One Stout (at least it was draft) The oldest bar in Florida? I think that's like saying Lincoln slept here...but according to Google it is. One drink is enough to feel the nostalgia. Dropped from 3star to 2 star for the nonessential cursing

Went here because if you're in historic downtown Fernandino Beach you need to go to Florida's oldest bar! There were 2 guys at the and the bartender on a Monday night. It's interesting inside but the server was odd and not very friendly. There is a back room section which was dark and empty and another back room with 2 pool tables. Drinks were average price and we can check it off our bucket list.

Two words: Pirate Punch. You're welcome. So good you feel like you could drink 5 of them, but you may get Shanghai'ed. 10/10. Would drink 5 again.

Relaxed ambiance. Good drinks. A little bit of history. Nice folks and friendly service. Will return when back in town.

Great drinks and live music. Great service. Espresso martini was YUM and the hot coffee drink was perfect on a cold day. Very friendly crowd vibe- great for locals and out of towners!

Such a fun and relaxing space. A true blast from the past. What a treasure! The bartender was accommodating and had a good sense of humor. Fiancée got a rum and coke and I ordered a sex on the beach.

    Old Fashioned and Gin Martini

Fun experience. Just to sitting at a 120 year old bar was amazing by Florida standards. When we asked about certain mixed drinks our engaging bartender Johnny explained the difference between a saloon and a bar. Basically a Saloon doesn't have all the ingredients for fancy drinks. Hence we defaulted to a very well made old fashioned and, gin martini. We definitely look forward to returning!

A cool chill spot to have some drinks in a saloon setting. The bartender was nice and made a good Old Fashioned. Bar seats were comfortable and the ambiance was nice knowing you're in Florida's oldest bar.

Stopped in for just one beer as we were walking around the downtown area in Fernandina. It has loads of neat history, being Florida's oldest bar. Make sure to check out some of the history via google and chat about it with the bartender. Stepping in was really like taking a step back in time (except they have a couple big TVs and had the Jags game on ) The bartender was super attentive, even with a full bar! And the other bar patrons were pretty chatty as well. Just had a vibe of a friendly neighborhood place where you could definitely go alone and have an entire group of new friends by the end of the night. Had the Intuition Ale Works I-10 on draft. Good pour. Decent prices as well on the menu (even tho this was the only thing purchased I did peek thru other items). Doesn't feel like the prices have completely skyrocketed as many other places have.

    The anticipation.. almost there

Who cannot love the oldest bar in Florida in located in the Historical District of Fernandina. I have been coming here for a lifetime and is always on my visitor tour list! Today was my son's turn. It's actually so nice to share nostalgia with your adult child while sipping "Pirate Punch". The bar is beautiful and its history vast. It's probably great that these walls don't talk. Oh the stories they could tell!

Palace saloon is a location you must visit. Great drinks, good service, free popcorn and super relax vibe. Great location and plenty of room for a large group to celebrate and have a cold drink. The decor and history is super cool.

Lacks ambiance. Seems like they could do a better job with seating & entertainment. The punch at Pelican is better

I was there for the oyster special, and for 50¢ oysters, they were actually pretty solid. Fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth it for the price. They also have buy-one-get-one margaritas, which is always a win. The drinks were well-made and paired perfectly with the laid-back midweek energy. As the night went on, the DJ started doing their thing and the whole atmosphere shifted...in a good way. It went from chill to a full-on vibe pretty quickly. Only downside? Parking can be a bit of a headache, especially once the crowd rolls in. So I'd definitely recommend getting there early if you can. Overall, a great Wednesday night spot if you're looking for good deals, good music, and a lively crowd. I'll definitely be back.
