Gregor MacGregor's was such fun! We visited while my brother-in-law and sister-in-law were in town. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday and they weren't busy at all. We all ordered a cocktail. Oh my gosh! What a fun spot to go after dinner. We were out to eat and asked our waitress where we should go next and she said "there's boozy golf a few blocks over!" and it was the perfect ending to our date night! We saw they had their own Florida version of a Master's hat from a previous event and you know I had to get that hat when I beat my husband for the first time ever at mini golf! OMG what a fun impulsive putt putt experience we had while in Fernandina Beach! We parked near this little mini golf and decided to play! It made for a cheap little day date. They also have a full bar which I have never seen before! I got a glass of prosecco ($6) and my boyfriend got a key lime pina colada since it was hot out ($8). The course wasn't super complicated thankfully. Great staff and great little mini golf course. We will definitely go back. So cute and fun! The key lime drink was also amazing! read more

Down and Dirty: Full bar, cheap putt put with a fun course. What more can you ask for?! Price: $10 for each adult and drinks were about $10 each (margarita and crown/coke) very fair and well worth it! This is a fun activity and I am not just saying that because I actually won in my group the first two times we played. :) This is not gimmicky putt putt, it is more akin to actual golfing. We have visited Fernandina Beach several times and the last time we swung in here, got putters and balls and before the first hit, the skies opened up. This time the weather was cold but clear. Stopped in after lunch and grabbed our stuff to hit the greens. But, we got behind a family with a little girl that was probably up to 20 shots on the first hole. We could see this was a long wait. Asked and the clerk said we could start on 10 and play the front 9 after, which we're glad we did. Fun little course and enjoyed the play and the layout, wife beat me by a couple strokes and that's okay, she definitely played better than I did. Cool way to have some fun while visiting. read more

We had families in town and they wanted to play putt putt and since we hadn't been here yet (have played the other two putt putts in town) so we came. The course is physically tight; it had been a building before so I guess that restricted the space that could be used. Though they had a large two story area for sitting after your game to order alcohol drinks and limited snacks. Never been to a miniature golf place that you could buy drinks at?!? It had trees planted but they are small hence provided no shade and as it was...it was sunny and hot. The cost was $10 for adults and little less for kids. read more

My son must have been psychic because he randomly asked to play mini golf as we were leaving the beach at Fort Clinch. I told him it was dinner time though so we headed toward the historic district. As we were parking, this newly opened mini golf spot caught his eye. Lucky him. Then, we noticed there's also bar. Lucky us. Gregor MacGregor's Mini Links & Drinks offers mini golf, a bar and snacks along with a multi-level, covered patio area. The 18-hole mini golf course is very nicely landscaped with multiple water features. There are also tvs in the patio area if you want to catch a game. Not surprisingly, it was busy for a Saturday night but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for the group ahead of us to finish (typical for any mini golf establishment). We saw couples on a date night, groups of friends as well as families. I read online that the course was designed so that adults will find it challenging, yet children will also enjoy playing it. [ LOCATION ] The course is located on the northwest corner of N 2nd Street and Alachua Street (a couple blocks down from the Palace Saloon). Turns out the course is owned by the same couple who own Cafe Karibo and Timoti's Seafood Shak both of which are just around the corner. Mini Golf and alcoholic drinks...yes please! I got the Gin Berry Smash and my husband got the Pirate Beer. We enjoyed both. The only thing people light have an issue with is if you are starting with a few different parties you have to wait a while till they get through the holes. This place was one of the best we went to besides another one right in Amelia island. It's super big, spread open so youre not too close to other people. They have amazing margaritas and food to eat throughout your game and seating areas which is good when you're waiting for the next person. It's really good for people with wheel chairs because there is not hills or steps throughout it. The outdoor area is very clean and well maintained. The green is very clean and no rips or tears in it so it doesn't make Golfing difficult. What an adorable fun concept! Happened upon MacGregor's during a Saturday stroll thru Amelia and my hubby and I instantly had to play! Grabbed a cold drink (they have beer, wine & liquor, and some munchies) and enjoyed some mini golf. It may not be the biggest craziest mini golf you've ever played, but the course had a little bit of variety & challenge. Found this mini golf site in Fernandia Beach. The place is small but the layout is great. When checking in they have 10 different colors of golf balls to choose from. Our group enjoyed our round of golf. Not sure if it was due to mid week golfing but we almost had the place to ourselves with the exception of a few groups. Also due to the course being in a small place, we saw a few balls go into some of the water areas. Highly recommend and while I'm not 100% familiar on the going rate for miniature golf the ~$9 admission price seemed fair. read more

So we stumbled on this place after dinner last night. My wife and I both played 18 holes after paying for two adult rentals, little over $20. The course was simple and fun, no windmills or other impediments. Just turf putting greens with rocks and timber as well as higher turf in area in some places to simulate the rough. You can order food and drinks at the start and they also have staff that will take your order while you are playing. Here are a few notes: 1. Your game play can be effected by the pace of others in front of you. Large groups take longer but there are benches to sit on between holes. 2. They also have an outdoor patio with TVs for lounging if you want to have a drink or snack there. 3. You pay for everything in one place, so there can be a line. Fun place but your experience will be impacted by others and their impact can be negative or positive. Mine was positive bc of the groups we were around but there were some guys drinking 4-5 alcoholic drinks during a single mini golf game ahead of us and depending on the dynamic of your group they could have had a negative impact. read more

My husband and I had so much fun on this course! Loved the traps made from rocks and higher turf. Everything was very clean and nice looking, but the best part was the accessibility. Its extremely easy for a wheelchair to get thru the course, in fact, the best course we have ever encountered. Bathrooms were accessible too, and very clean. They have a place to get food and drinks but we didn't try anything. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place and if we are ever back in this area again we'd go back here. read more
