We stumbled on this restaurant as we were wandering one evening. They were busy but graciously found us a table and helped us select entrees from their expansive menu. Easily the best meal we had in Florence, and one of the top meals of our trip (we were also in Rome). I had one of their non-alcoholic "cocktails" and it may be the best thing I've ever drank - no exaggeration. I also had their made-from-scratch ravioli with burrata, which was incredible. We were thrilled with our meal and the service here. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped to get a cool drink and a snack. Food was good, but service was not good despite the restaurant being empty. We ordered a bottle of wine and a pizza to share. Our waitress asked multiple times if we wanted anything else. We thanked her and said no. After the wine and pizza was brought to our table, we didn't see the waitress again. We had to request our check from the bartender. The pizza was good and had great flavor. But not enough to cover the poor service. It's unlike we will return. read more

Good food but terrible service. We came here for lunch. Ordered 8 items and 5 came after about 40 minutes so slow but not terrible. Food was pretty good. However, we asked about missing 3 items and were told it would be "2 minutes". After 15 minutes, we grabbed the manager inside and the waiter but were told that no items were coming due to " kitchen issues ". No apology or any other response. Infuriating. Delicious! After a long day that culminated at Michaelangelo's Garden, we stopped here to have a drink. We looked at the menu and decided to have dinner. So glad we did. The service was great! WARNING! Stupid place. Counting 3 euros (each) to sit on a boring square. You can't even see the Arno-river! Okay, they mention it. In corps 2 on the menu (or wall, or somewhere else). I don't even know. But it's really-really hard to see (and I have good eyes). Waiter was rude. And I don't even care about the 6 euro's, but is more like I'm feeling fucked. We stopped here for a lunch of pizza and wine. We had six different pizzas and all of them were excellent. Our server, who was very good, suggested a local chianti and it was as good as the pizzas. Try the red pepper infused olive oil on your pizza to add a little heat and flavor. Much better than the dry pepper flakes. We went here because of the positive reviews on Yelp We order salads ( very large probably could share). Enjoyed the spritz spray bottles of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The balls of mozzarella were tough. I ordered Pici Chef ( thick spaghetti pasta with sausage, porcini mushrooms, and pecorino cheese). Pasta cooked perfectly but the dish was way toooo salty. DO NOT GO!! Really rude staff. My friend and I had to wait 15 minutes until they asked us what we wanted to drink, while they were standing next to us with the six of them. Waiting and eating out of there noses. They ignored us too when we asked for the bill. And then the grande surprise: when we asked for the bill (for the third time), we were charged 6 euro extra. We stopped here after visiting the Boboli Gardens on a very hot day in August. We enjoyed their cold water and while their beer wasn't fantastic, the food was incredible. Probably the best Spaghetti Carbonara on our entire trip. I highly suggest it and would certainly return to try out more of their very long delicious looking menu. It is off the beaten path and there seemed to be a lot of locals, I can certainly understand why. The Seafood Risotto was quite excellent. It's a reasonable size restaurant that sells a lot of pizza and most of the patrons seem to be local. Nothing particularly stands out, but the food is good to very good, fair price and friendly. read more

We strolled for an hour looking for a place to eat and when we walked past this restaurant we stopped as the aromas coming from the restaurant were amazing. The menu was extensive with homemade pasta so we allowed the waiter to choose for us, which we never do. The Pici dishes we had were both amazing! My husband and I do not eat dessert but went on the waiter's advice on the Tiramisu and we were not disappointed. We will definitely eat here again on our three week stay in Florence. read more

My companion and I stumbled upon Palazzo Tempi for a late night dinner during our first night in Firenze. We were walking around for a few hours to immerse in the culture and learn about Florence... we saw a few restaurants right after walking over the Ponte Veccio and almost sat down, but was not fully convinced/none seemed satisfying. Somehow we found this restaurant and the menu looked amazing. It is not in a more touristy area, just in front of Arno. It was the best restaurant during our trip. We ate there again two nights later. The menu had a vast variety of food, so we were able to switch it up a bit. The dessert was so good! Our waiter was so kind and patient- since it was our first night in Italy, we were learning the different types of pastas and he was kind enough to explain the menu. He brought us this cold red wine, that my companion loved so much (he even bought it!). I highly recommend this restaurant if you can find it! read more

We visited this restaurant with our daughter who is a student in Florence. This is one of the restaurants she can use her vouchers at an she was curious to see how the service was for full paying customers as ourselves. We were not disappointed in the food or the service. Our first course of smoked salmon rocket salad was divine. Large balls of buffalo mozzarella, fresh greens and tender slices of salmon decorated this colorful plate. Accompanied by fresh baked bread, half toasted, half not. My pasta, Puccini infucate sounds very spicy, but the heat was not too much. Others had fusilli with sausage and marcapone. All washed down with a litre of the house wine. We finished with tiramisu and some cream and berry dish recommended by the waitress. All scrumptious. The atmosphere was very nice, plenty of filled tables and bustling service. I know our daughter wishes the waitresses were nicer when she and her flat-mates come in with vouchers, but I guess I get it; students aren't always the best customers. read more

After slogging all over Florence in the heat we found ourselves tired & hungry on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio looking for sanctuary in the form of a cool place with wine & pizza. The nice owner of the ceramic store (sorry I don't know the name but it is down a tiny side alcove over the bridge- beautiful handmade pottery) told us to try this place. Not really a tourist spot she said she & the other store owners go & her kids enjoy it. With a little zig zagging we found it & so glad we did. We got there early and were the first there but the place was filling up as we left, mostly with locals. Pizza was delicious, pastas were fresh, salads were too & my daughter's Quattro Fromage ravioli (a dicey choice in any restaurant ) was sublime- light & perfectly sauced. The owner was a nice man happy to have tourists (he keeps some menus in English) but clearly successful with the locals. He called a cab for us to head back to our hotel & we drove along the Arno content & happy after a great meal. read more
